LUX* Grand Gaube, Mauritius- FULL RESORT TOUR | Dining | Accommodation | Wellness
LUX* Grand Gaube is a 5* Luxury resort in the North of Mauritius. It offers a wide selection of restaurants and seven bars- one of which is located in the adults-only area. Although this area is rather secluded, it is right next to a restaurant meaning it may get slightly noisy throughout the day. I highly recommend the Palm court (Buffet restaurant) which didn't disappoint me during my stay and has plenty of international dishes to try. For lunch however, it is wise to arrive at the restaurants early as the waiting times tend to be on the longer side.
SELECT 4K FOR THE BEST VIEWING EXPERIENCE!
Beach: The beach provides great service and is near to the ice cream stand. However, it is artificial, and the shallow waters contain a lot of silt and rocks which isn't too pleasant to walk on.
Spa: The Spa is certainly high-end and offers a wide range of treatments and products. LUX* also offer a barber shop and hair salon.

With more than 10 great beaches and the home of the pirogue boat, Grand Gaube must wear the crown of Most Beach City. They have it all, crowded beaches, street food beaches, walking beaches, deserted beaches, fishing beaches, island beaches, you name the beach type and they have it and we didn't even find them all!

Collection of clips from a recent holiday to Mauritius.
Only been flying a couple months and this is my first edit so any comments appreciated.
Majority of footage was taken from my DJI Mavic Air, some of the smaller ones were from a GoPro Hero 4 Black and my Pixel 2 XL, all recorded in 4k30. Edited using DaVinci Resolve 14, enjoy (best with sound on)!

Pluses:
The hotel beaches have access east north and west. Hotel staff really try to please in every way. Food is good
The facilities were brilliant and there was something to do for all ages and interests. The staff went that extra mile to ensure our stay was memorable.
Minuses:
Room was not as big (room superior ), but it was very clean
The only small negative was you could hear the noises from the corridors in your room, which did disturb us a few times.
