In 7 Tagen mit dem Hausboot von Berlin zur Müritz.
Drei Wasserstraßen, zwei Reisende, ein Hausboot: Stefan Pinnow und seine Kapitänin Christine Drühl schippern zunächst auf der Havel von Berlin über Werder nach Brandenburg. Weiter geht es nach Rathenow und durch den Naturpark Westhavelland. Bei Havelberg mündet der Fluss in die Elbe. Nach einem Zwischenstopp in Wittenberge biegt das Boot bei Dömitz - hier lockt die größte Binnendüne Europas - in die Müritz-Elde-Wasserstraße ein. Nächster Halt: die Schaumkuss-Manufaktur in Grabow. Dann nähert sich die Reise langsam ihrem angepeilten Ziel: Waren an der Müritz. Sieben Tage gleiten Stefan Pinnow und Christine Drühl gemächlich dahin. Sie durchqueren Seen, passieren Schleusen und genießen die morgendliche Ruhe an Bord. Am Flussufer entdecken sie Fischreiher und Seeadler, und immer wieder treffen sie Menschen mit spannenden Geschichten.

Three waterways, two travelers, a houseboat: Stefan Pinnow and his captain Christine Drühl sail first on the Havel from Berlin via Werder to Brandenburg. Continue to Rathenow and the Westhavelland Nature Park. At Havelberg, the river flows into the Elbe. After a stopover in Wittenberge, the boat bends near Dömitz - here the largest inland dune in Europe - lures into the Müritz-Elde waterway. Next stop: the Schaumkuss-Manufaktur in Grabow. Then the journey slowly approaches its intended destination: Waren an der Müritz. Stefan Pinnow and Christine Drühl glide leisurely for seven days. They cross lakes, pass through locks and enjoy the morning rest on board. On the riverbank, they discover herons and sea eagles, and time and again they meet people with exciting stories.

general information
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is a federal state of Germany, located in the north of the country. With an area of just over 23 thousand square meters. m. the population of the region is 1.6 million people, which makes the land sparsely populated.
Despite the fact that over 10 million tourists visit the region every year, the administration of the land makes every effort to leave the purity of nature in its original form.
Capital
The capital of the region is the city of Schwerin with a population of almost 100 thousand inhabitants.
Nature
The territory of the earth is rich in nature reserves and lakes with picturesque views. Among the 2 thousand lakes, different in size and beauty, there is the largest freshwater lake - Müritz. Therefore, first of all, tourists go to Vorpommern for seaside resorts with luxurious beaches, surf centers and hotels providing quality spa services.
Principal cities: Rostock, Schwerin, Neubrandenburg, Stralsund
Rostock is the largest city in the world, famous primarily for being one of the most important ports in Germany. It is located at the mouth of the Varnov River, which flows into the Baltic Sea. Once the city was a member of the famous Hanseatic League - an influential trade union of Europe in the Middle Ages. Despite the fact that the city would have been partially destroyed by the soldiers of the Second World War, significant sights of the Middle Ages are still preserved on its territory.
Schwerin - the administrative center of the land - can be described as a small and quiet town with a provincial flair. It is located in an area full of blue lakes and green forests. In the 19th century, the medieval appearance of its architecture was completely replaced by one close to modern.
Neubrandenburg is called the city of four gates due to the fact that it is surrounded by gates of different heights from all sides. The city is characterized as an industrial center, because with the high growth of industrial enterprises in the last century, population growth did not occur.
Stralsund is located on the shores of the Strelasund Strait, once it was part of the same Hanseatic League. The city is famous for its Gothic-style brick buildings and cobbled streets. Its historic center has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2002.
What to watch?
20 km from Stralsund, you can visit the Western Pomeranian Lagoons - a national park in the Baltic. In addition to the vast water surface, the land part of the park is also interesting: swamps, forests of oaks and conifers. The fauna of these places is entertaining - fallow deer, roe deer and wild boars.
Another way to take a break from the eternal bustle is in Lindenpark. Being on the territory of Rostock, he collected all the romance of linden forests. The park is also popular among the natives of the city, so every tourist, walking through the park, can get to know German life better.
Denholm Island is an important place in the history of Germany, because here in the 15th century there was a clash between Danish troops and the Hansa fleet, at the beginning of the 19th century there was a battle between Swedish and French troops. You can learn more about them at the Naval Museum, where open-air exhibitions on military topics are held. Also here is a branch of the German Maritime Museum, which tells about the history of fishing and exploration of the depths of the sea.
In Schwerin, the most striking impression will be the castle with several museums, a church with colorful stained-glass windows and a star vault, while its territory is surrounded by a green park with sculptures and greenhouses that work all year round.
Attractions
Museum with a grandiose collection of weapons and art objects - the Gustrov Palace - a magnificent example of the Renaissance;
The church in Stephenshagen is famous for depicting images of German mythology in bas-reliefs;
The oldest brick church in Mecklenburg is Gadebusch, founded in the early 13th century;
The towers of the churches of St. Nicholas and St. Mary are the hallmark of Wismar, another port city of the former Hanseatic League.

Meine Highlights von einem Wander-Wochenende in der Rhön, mit der Milseburg, dem Roten und dem Schwarzen Moor, dem Kreuzberg, der Osterburg und der Wasserkuppe. Sonnenauf- und Untergangsaufnahmen entstanden auf der Wasserkuppe, dem höchsten Berg der Rhön mit tollen Weitblicken. Die Wanderungen sind alles kurze bis mittellange Wanderungen bzw. Spaziergänge, letzteres gilt besonders für die kurzweiligen Wege durch die Moore.

Corona made travel impossible in 2020 and 2021. For many, all that remains is the journey within their own country. That's exactly how I feel. Therefore I decided to open this channel and show you some nice insights from my home. We are in Germany. Or rather in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Autobahn 14, or A14 for short, is a freeway that is still under construction. Later on, probably in 2030, it will have a total length of 420 km. In this video, I show you the route from Grabow (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) towards Wismar and back again.

Corona hat das Reisen in den Jahren 2020 und 2021 unmöglich gemacht. Für viele bleibt nur noch die Reise innerhalb ihres eigenes Landes. Genauso geht es mir auch. Daher habe ich mich entschlossen, diesen Kanal zu öffnen und euch einige schöne Einblicke von meiner Heimat zu zeigen. Wir befinden uns in Deutschland. Besser gesagt in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Die Autobahn 14, oder auch kurz gesagt A14, ist eine Autobahn, die sich noch im Bau befindet. Sie soll später einmal, voraussichtlich im Jahr 2030, eine Gesamtlänge von 420km haben. In diesem Video zeige ich euch die Strecke von Grabow (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) in Richtung Wismar und wieder zurück.

Bürgermeister Nusch Saves Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany (Day)
In 1631, during the Thirty Years' War, the Protestant city of Rothenburg was captured by General Tilly, commander of the armies of the Catholic League. He promised to spare the town from destruction if one of the town burghers could drink down the huge tankard full of wine in one draft.
Bürgermeister Nusch accepted the challenge and succeeded, thus saving Rothenburg. The clock on the Marktplatz with mechanical figures represents this event.

Driving Germany: A95&B2 Sindelsdorf - Garmisch Partenkirchen - 4K motorway drive with mountain views
The 4K driving video presents a drive on one of the most beautiful german motorway (A95 Autobahn). A95 connects München with Garmisch Partenkirchen. It ends in Eschenlohe, a few kilometers before Garmisch Partenkirchen, and from there one has to drive on the national road B2. The video starts at the Sindelsdorf exit (please feel free to check also the video from München to Sindelsdorf) and ends at the junction between B2 and B23 at the entrance in the nice mountain town.
When driving there, you have always the view of the highest german mountain (Zugspitze, 2962m) in front of you.
