SWEDISH LAPLAND: A SCENIC offroad adventure around Arjeplog and Vilhelmina // EPS 17
Get lost with me on small Swedish gravel tracks and discover the area around Arjeplog in Swedish Lapland - the most northern county of Sweden.
Our goal for the day had been to find the nicest roads in the area - and we did! From the small village Moskosel we went on a round trip to Suddesjaur, Gittun, Bergnäsviken and Hällvik along rivers, lakes and wild nature. 150 kilometers without meeting one single car. The area we were riding through is Swedish Lappland - the most northern province of Sweden. The tourism board advertises the region with the slogan: „The forest is yours!“ Anyone can walk around the forests and lakes of Swedish Lapland, Pick berries and pitch a tent pretty much anywhere.
When we arrived in Arjeplog we found a room at Hornavan Hotell - and enjoyed the sunset over lake Hornavan. Arjeplog is one of Sweden's largest, but it is also the country's least densely populated municipality. The vast majority of the population lives in the town Arjeplog, which is one of Sweden's smallest municipal seats. But even if there is not so many people - there are am amazing roads.
The next day started with an unexpected detour to Sorsele, where we had the best blueberry pancakes in the Hook & Cup Cafe. We continued to Dikanäs and ended in Vilhelmina - which is the gateway to the famous Vildmarksvägen.

This is the first time I made a video in Vlog format.
I've been learning how to make a Vlog for the past month at an online school called Filmmaking & Storytelling with Casey Neistat.
In this online school, Casey Neistat himself teaches you in great detail how he shoots and edits his Vlogs.
I was amazed at the attention to detail that Casey puts into his videos.
I plan to use what I've learned to make Vlogs regularly.
Of course, I will continue to make walking tour videos.
