Hello, today's tour in the Christmas market in Göttingen, Germany. We will walk through the city center during the Christmas Market time. It is full of cozy, charming and magical Christmas decorations and lit with colorful lights. The main Christmas market is held in the heart of the beautiful old town around the market square, Johanniskirche and medieval town hall. Göttingen's trademark, the famous Gänselieslbrunnen fountain, forms the centrepiece. Christmassy sounds from trombone bands and traditional stalls create a wonderful Advent mood. Another highlight of Göttingen's Christmas market is the ice rink in the Lokhalle. Enjoy the charming Christmas market atmosphere in Göttingen.

SIGHTSEEING: Singen am Hohentwiel in GERMANY

Central part of Singen in Germany
Singen is an industrial city in southern Germany in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The distance to the Swiss-German border is only a few kilometers. Singen is on the railway line from Zurich and Schaffhausen in Switzerland to Stuttgart in Germany. The distance to Konstanz / Constance is about 40 km.
Population of Singen is about 49‘000.
Most scenes in this video are from August-Ruf and Scheffel street. You can find here many shops and restaurants.
Driving in Germany: Bundesstraße B10 from Göppingen to Geislingen an der Steige
In this video you can drive along on the B10 urban expressway from the city of Göppingen to the city of Geislingen an der Steige. The B10 East of Stuttgart doesn't only serve many of the nearby cities, it's also an important through-route to Ulm and for many a viable alternative to the Autobahn A8 Albaufstieg.
But just like the A8 at the Albaufstieg, a notorious bottleneck and one of the most scenic Autobahns in Germany, the B10 running in parallel is just as much a bottleneck. Right after the exit to the B466 in the direction of Heidenheim, the B10 turns into a single lane expressway going through a few towns and cities.
The amount of traffic has been a problem for decades now and on the day that I filmed it's no exception, which is why I fast-forwarded the video even more at some point. In many of the towns on the way you see signs against the B10 or for a B10 bypass of the town. The geography makes it difficult though, especially after Geislingen there is some challenging incline much like the A8 Albaufstieg. I hope you find this video interesting. Driving in Switzerland and Germany: Autobahn A4 E41, A81 & A98 E54 from Schaffhausen to Stockach
In this video you can drive along on the A4 E41 and Autobahns A81 & A98 E54 from Schaffhausen in Switzerland to Stockach in Germany.
Starting in Schaffhausen near the Rheinfall waterfall, the A4 will be reduced to a 2x1 / 1x1 standard as we pass mostly underneath the city of Schaffhausen. To the border the road remains pretty much 1x1 where it turns into Bundesstraße B34 on the German side. Near Gottmadingen the A81 starts.
We only drive the A81 for a few kilometers before reaching Kreuz Hegau, where we will continue on the short A98 Autobahn to Stockach. The A98 is one of the few unfinished Autobahns in Germany. Originally it was supposed to ru parallel to the Bodensee, which will likely never happen in the future. In the other direction it is to follow the Swiss border to Waldshut-Tiengen. A short section near Waldshut remains under construction, but it will probably take ages before these two segments will be connected if ever.

[4K] Driving in Germany: Bundesstraße B33 from Kreuz Hegau (A81 / A98) to Konstanz
In this video you can drive along on the B33 from Kreuz Hegau to the city of Konstanz. The first part is a nice 2x2 expressway but closer to Konstanz it goes back to its old alignment. Although as you can see in the video there are construction works to expand the B33 all the way to Konstanz, things are progressing quite slowly.
If I'm not mistaken the situation was similar back in 2018, when I last drove here. There didn't seem to be a whole lot of activity on the construction site. Konstanz is a larger border city on Lake Constance (Bodensee) that houses a lot of students and is a popular tourist destination.

This monastic community was founded in the 8th century, and over 20 churches and chapels were built on the island, though only three of them survive. Wir starten am Parkplatz an der Landesgartenschau unterhalb des Hohentwiels. Wir kommen als erstes am Museum for Arts and Cars vorbei, bevor wir in den Stadtgarten abbiegen. Anschließend gehen wir am Rathaus vorbei in die Ekkehardstrasse. Dann geht es rechts in die Erzbergerstrasse und dann in die Schwarzwaldstrasse bis zur Herz Jesu Kirche.

The Autobahn is the federal controlled-access highway system in Germany. The official German term is Bundesautobahn (abbreviated BAB), which translates as federal motorway. The literal meaning of the word Bundesautobahn is Federal Auto(mobile) Track.
German Autobahnen are widely known for having no federally mandated speed limit for some classes of vehicles. However, limits are posted (and enforced) in areas that are urbanized, substandard, accident-prone, or under construction. On speed-unrestricted stretches, an advisory speed limit (Richtgeschwindigkeit) of 130 kilometres per hour (81 mph) applies. While driving faster is not illegal as such in the absence of a speed limit, it can cause an increased liability in the case of a collision.
A 2017 report by the Federal Road Research Institute reported that in 2015 70.4% of the autobahn network had only the advisory speed limit, 6.2% had temporary speed limits due to weather or traffic conditions, and 23.4% had permanent speed limits. Measurements from the German State of Brandenburg in 2006 showed average speeds of 142 km/h (88 mph) on a 6-lane section of autobahn in free-flowing conditions. Only federally built controlled-access highways with certain construction standards including at least two lanes per direction are called Bundesautobahn. They have their own white-on-blue signs and numbering system.
