Drive&Talk '22 #19 Pristina, Kosovo to Prizren, Kosovo, visiting Europe's newest country continues
After driving around Pristina in the morning of that day and after driving across Kosovo from Peja in the west to Pristina in the east the day before, the time has come to explore the north and south of that country. In order to do that, after leaving Pristina we head to Kosovska Mitrovica. If that name sounds familiar to you it is because it was in the news all over the world for many weeks some years ago as a result of civil unrest between Kosovo Serbs and Kosovo Albanians who populate the city (the links to the episodes from the visit to the city you will find below). From Kosovska Mitrovica we drive down south all the way to Prizren, placed just next to the border with Albania. All along the way through these two cities and the countryside we can witness how Kosovo is changing, how new businesses large and small operate, how new houses are being built. Not for a second we encounter any issues with general safety, something those that have never been here will try to scare you away with. Virtual ride, with Polish commentary and a good dose of humor :) ...

Po przejażdżce po Prisztinie rano tego dnia i po przejechaniu poprzedniego dnia przez Kosowo od Peja na zachodzie do Prisztiny na wschodzie, przyszedł czas na zwiedzanie północnej i południowej części tego kraju. W tym celu po opuszczeniu Prisztiny kierujemy się do Kosowskiej Mitrovicy. Jeśli ta nazwa brzmi znajomo, to dlatego, że była w wiadomościach na całym świecie przez wiele tygodni kilka lat temu w wyniku niepokojów społecznych między kosowskimi Serbami a kosowskimi Albańczykami, którzy zamieszkują miasto (linki do odcinków z wizyty w mieście znajdziesz poniżej). Z Kosowskiej Mitrovicy jedziemy na południe aż do Prizren, położonego tuż przy granicy z Albanią. Przez całą drogę przez te dwa miasta oraz przez tereny wiejskie możemy być świadkami tego, jak Kosowo się zmienia, jak działają nowe duże i małe firmy, jak powstają nowe domy. Ani przez chwilę nie napotykamy problemów z ogólnym bezpieczeństwem, czymś, czym ci, którzy nigdy tu nie byli, będą próbowali cię straszyć. Wirtualna przejażdżka, z polskim komentarzem i sporą dawką humoru :)...
