Cubani-2021: Festivalul Cașului și Portului Popular (Ediția II)
Festivalul Cașului și Portului Popular, ediția a II-a, a avut loc duminică, 27 iunie 2021, în satul Cubani, raionul Glodeni.
La eveniment au participat crescători de ovine, meșteri populari și producători locali din regiune.
Programul evenimentului a inclus o expoziție de produse tradiționale, un spectacol folcloric, un târg al producătorilor locali, concursuri etc.
Festivalul a fost organizat de GAL Stâncile Prutului în parteneriat cu GAL „Drumul Gospodarilor”, Consiliul Raional Glodeni /Secția Cultură și Turism/ și Primăria satului Cubani.
Evenimentul face parte din activitățile proiectului „Oleacă de Moldova” din cadrul Fondului pentru Parteneriate LEADER-UE 2021, Componenta I – Forumuri regionale, al proiectului „Abordarea LEADER pentru prosperitatea rurală în Moldova”, finanțat de Uniunea Europeană și Polish Aid, implementat de Solidarity Fund PL în Moldova în parteneriat cu Rețeaua Națională LEADER din Republica Moldova. Village situated at the mouth of the Camenca River, in a region of plateau and hills, 8 km north-west of Or. Riscani. The hill that separates Borosenii Noi from Pîrjota has an altitude of 248 m, from the peak descends to the gate of the village a secular forest with numerous springs, a rare sight in the plain of Balti.
Since ancient times there is a legend about the Honey Land in Borosenii Noi. The village of Borosenii Noi is surrounded by forests - a true oasis of tranquillity and visual delight. The tall and proud trees invite you for a walk. The Borosans have been lured to such a walk. Here the Borosans discovered bees in the hollows lined in the white trunks of the trees. They were industrious, ingenious people, lovers of work, of nature and of these insects, and decided to domesticate them. They wove baskets out of loam and glued them together with clay. Thus began man's hobby of beekeeping. But the territories between the Prut and the Dniester were often attacked by nomadic hordes of Tartars, by Turkish armies that even reached the territory of the village of Boroseni. The Borosans, being wise, thought how to defend themselves against their enemies. So they came up with an idea: they laid out baskets of bees and tied them together with a braided string, and brought the end of the string to the threshold of the house. As the enemies approached they pulled the string, the baskets toppled over and the bees met them, stinging them mercilessly. The bees emerged victorious. They saved the lives of the natives.
The legend passed down from generation to generation says that the name of the village derives from the name of a strong-willed blacksmith whom the Ortans called Borosan. Whether this is so or not is hard to say. His written biography of the locality begins on 10 July 1663. This date is fixed in the Statute of the commune and is supported by several researchers.
Around 1750, the landowner Scalețki places at the edge of his estate a guard - old Toader Borosanu, that is from Boroseni. He built a hut on the bank of the nearby stream. The place was beautiful. In front of the house there was a stream with crystal-clear water, and behind the house stretched thousands of hectares of forest. The squire had moved about 16 other families to live here, because a neighbour had appeared on the south side of his estate. The new village began to be called Borosenii Noi.

Duminica o începem cu o Călătorie cu Gust, teleportându-ne cu 20 de milioane de ani în urmă, la Cheile Butești, din raionul Glodeni. Stânca are o suprafaţă de 110 ha. În jurul recifului bântuie o serie de legende, în care veți crede voi, decideți singuri, doar dacă mergeți acolo și explorați Cheile Buteșiului. Reciful are dimensiuni impresionante – mai mult de 2 km lungime şi 125 m lăţime şi este înconjurat din ambele părţi de râul Camenca.

FETEȘTI - HISTORY OF THE VILLAGE
The village of Fetești is one of the oldest villages in Edinet district. According to documents it appears at the end of the 15th - beginning of the 16th century. This territory was populated since the time of Stephen the Great.
The old name of the village is Hrițeni and only towards the end of the 18th - beginning of the 19th century the name Fetești appears.
By a gramophone of Petru Voda of July 3rd 1975 the village of Hrițeni with a mill is strengthened by Odochiei, daughter of Luca Arbore, porter of Suceava. So previously the village belonged to Luca Arbore, former hatman, beheaded in 1523 by Stefan the Younger.
The village of Hrițeni appears in various documents and gramota from the 17th century (1606, 1621, 1635). Then the village of Hrițeni appears in the census of 1772-1774. According to these data there were 40 inhabited and 5 deserted houses in the village, 45 men and a priest.
In this period appear families: Gribință, Movilă, Furtună, Ursul, Ocrain, Roșca, Budeanu, Traistă, Baltă, Leurdă, and in another part are indicated the professions, e.g.: Petre morar, Istrate pâslar, Gigoraș cojocar, Simion ciubotar and so on.
In sec. In the 19th century the village belonged to Gavril Stroici Scordeli, to the merchant Șimon Caufman, as well as to some peasants.
In 1904 it was recorded as the old Romanian village of the Rhaetians. It has 280 houses, 1872 souls, church.
In the first decade of the cent. In the first decade of the 20th century, a 4-year school was opened. On average, the number of pupils reached 40 annually. Lessons were held by the village priest Gheorghe Balabanov, then by Pavel Barbos and teacher Popovici.
By 1942 Fetești was the centre of the commune of 2 villages: Fetești and Gordinești. The ethnic population of the commune is 4656 Romanians, 335 Ukrainians, 27 Russians, 6 Poles, 5 Germans. In the commune there are 2 churches, 3 primary schools and a Cultural Centre.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Domains has set up in the commune of Fetești a warehouse of pedigree stallions, which are used for cross-breeding and enrichment of the local breed. A total of 616 horses, 1095 horned cattle, 3461 sheep and 1389 pigs were kept in the commune. From the agricultural inventory we mention just a few figures: ploughs - 376, harrows - 343, sowing machines - 12, cultivators - 44, tiller - 9, agricultural tractors - 10, etc.
These were the basic indicators with which Fetești entered a new period: war, famine, deportations, collectivisation, socialism.

HORODIȘTE - VILLAGE HISTORY
The village of Horodiște, attested on July 3, 1429, is located in the north-west of Riscani district, on the right bank of Ciuhur river. In the northern part of the village, on the left side of the river, there are picturesque cliffs of over 130 m, called Holm with a huge cave Țiglău, where, in days of emergency, the locals used to shelter.
Archaeological excavations have proved that traces of human activity here date back more than 70,000 years, when prehistoric people settled in the cave on the edge of the present village. In the Neolithic period (10,000-12,000 years ago) several human settlements appear in the vicinity. The inhabitants built their houses of wicker and clay, herded cattle, farmed, practised various domestic crafts, etc. Nomadic tribes of shepherds wandered through the area at different times....
On 3 June 1429 in a book from the Suceava court of Alexander the Good, a saddle on Ciuhur with the name Horodiște is mentioned.
The name of the village comes from the Slavic word Городище (fortified settlement). In his second reign, Peter Rares gave estates and villages to army commanders and brave soldiers for righteous and faithful service. In a document from 1541, it is said that By the mercy of God we, Petru Voievod, ruler of the country of Moldavia... and Oprea Ungureanu served us justly and faithfully. Therefore.. we give a village on Ciuhur, namely Horodiște, which that village .... and their grandchildren and great-grandchildren and their entire lineage who will choose closer ever unwavering forever.
On September 4, 1605 the ruler Jeremiah Movilă fortified the Dragomirna Monastery with several villages, including Horodiște on Ciuhur...
In 1865, among the Russian dvoren who owned large estates was the landlord Gheorghe (Egor) Rîșcanu. He owned the localities - Rîșcani, Ochiul Alb, Grinăuți, Brătușeni, Druță, Moșeni and Horodiște. At that time the tsarist government, in order to keep the population in subjection, had large armed contingents deployed in the governorate. From Siberia, Ivan Dimitrievich Bursky was assigned to the military unit in Balti, who married Maria, daughter of Gh. Rîșcanu. As dowry Maria received the estate Horodiște and the village of the same name. After the marriage Ivan Bursky, helped by his father-in-law, went into the reserve and consolidated all his activity on the estate.
Under the Russian tsar's ukaz, the boyars were obliged to build a school and a church in their villages. In the village, a church made of wicker is built on a stone foundation. On the site of the old wooden church, a stone church was built in 1906-1907 and consecrated on Great Sunday in 1914.
Between 1901 and 1904 the school was built with two primary classes taught in Russian, and after 1918 four classes were taught in Romanian.

Dacă trăiești în Moldova, atunci măcar o dată în viață trebuie să faci un check-in la „Suta de Movile”.
Este o arie protejată, situată în preajma localităților Braniște și Avrămeni din raionul Rîșcani și satul Cobani din raionul Glodeni.
„Suta de Movile” face parte din rezervația științifică „Pădurea Domnească“. Monumentul natural este alcătuit din aproximativ 3500 de movile cu înălțimea de până la 30 de metri. Movilele se întind pe o lungime de 8 km şi o lăţime de 2 km. Detalii despre această zonă puteți citi în Wikipedia, dar noi, pur și simplu vă vom arăta un scurt video din seria #VEZIMOLDOVA.

Viișoara este satul de reședință al comunei cu același nume din raionul Glodeni, Republica Moldova.
Comuna Viițoara este situată în apropierea râului Prut la poalele rezervației naturale Moara Doamnească și se află la o distanță de 20 km de centrul raional. Satul Moara Domnească, Glodeni intră în componența aceleiași comune și poate fi considerat punctul de hotar a raionului Glodeni cu raionul Fălești.
Înconjurat de un iaz de mari proporții, satul Viișoara dă impresia că este situat pe o mică insulă.
