Ep 4 Varanasi to Robertsganj, | Chunar Fort | Siddhnath Ki Dari , Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh
We started the journey from Durgakund Varanasi then moved towards Chunar fort followed by Siddhnath ki Dari..
Due to less rains in the year 2022, we could not see much waterfall in the Sonbhadra district and Mirzapur district, but still we got chance to see the surroundings.
This video was shot on 7th August, following are the activities we did throughout the day.
Durgakund - we started our day from Durgakund. One of the most famous temples in Varanasi.
Chunar Fort - Located Around 30 km from Varanasi. Built at an elevation of 280 ft, across the holy river Ganga in Vindhyachal Ranges.
Mahadev Misthan Bhandar - This shop is popular for its Gud Jalebi (Jaggery Jalebi) 12 for 100 gm. We had breakfast of Poori with Sabji - Rs 20.
Do check the price before eating food at this shop - we were charged Rs 1000 for 5 people , though the price was less, so its better if you check it before ordering food at Mahadev Mishthan Bhandar.
Siddhnath Ki Dari - Located at a distance of 20 km from Mirzapur. There is a waterfall which is a treat to the eyes during the monsoon. Not known to Tourists, to my surprise I saw many locals who had come for a picnic.
Raj Dari - it is also a waterfall where you need to go through the jungle to reach the fall. Timing - 8 am to 4pm. Entry fee - Rs 50 per person.
Hare Krishna dhaba - We had dinner here Dal - Rs 120 & Dum Aloo - Rs 200. This Dhaba is located 8 km before Robertsganj in sonbhadra district.

The Chunar Fort is a massive structure which stands at a height of 80 meters from the ground level. According to legends it is believed that the legendary King Vikramaditya of Ujjain who was also the founder of Vikrama era established this fort to honour the stay of his brother King Bhartrihari who was a well-known philosopher. This magnificent fort is spread over an area of 3400 sq. There are also a Samadhi of King Bhartrihari, an ancient well, Sonva Mandap, Bavan Khambha, Bungalow of Warren Hastings and a Sun Dial.One can also see about 1500 years old rock-cut images of Lord Vishnu and other deities on the face of the western cliff-section of the fort hillock.

अगर इस किले के इतिहास पर नजर डालें तो मिर्जापुर से लगभग 35 किलोमीटर दूर स्थित इस किलें का निर्माण 56 ईसा पूर्व में उजैन के तत्कालीन महाराज विक्रमादित् नें करवाया था |कई राजाओ और सम्राटों के शौर्य का गवाह बना यह किला कालांतर में मुग़ल शासक बाबर के अधीन आ गया. 1531 ई. में यह किला हुमायूं के हाथ से निकल कर शेरशाह सूरी के हाथों में आ गया. लेकिन शेरशाह सूरी के मरने के बाद एक बार फिर से 1574 ई. में यह किला मुग़ल शासक अकबर के कब्जें में आ गया. इस किलें को बिहार और बंगाल का गेट माना जाता था. तब से ले कर 1772 ई. तक चुनार किला मुग़ल सल्तनत के अधीन रहा. जिसके बाद मुगलों से ईस्ट इण्डिया कंपनी ने यह किला जीता लिया, उसके बाद से इस किले पर अग्रेंजो का कब्ज़ा हो गया.
गंगा के किनारे बने इस किले को हमेशा से ही रणनीतिक तौर पर महत्वपूर्ण माना गया. देश में शासन करनेवाले हर राजा के लिए चुनार का किला जीतना शान का प्रतीक बन गया था. स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि इस किले के निर्माण से लेकर अंग्रेजों के किलें पर कब्जे तक करीब 17 या 18 राजाओं नें इस किले पर राज किया. इन राजाओं का संचित धन अवश्य ही खजाने के रूप में किले के अंदर कहीं न कहीं गड़ा हुआ हैं. उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने कई साल पहले किले की सुरक्षा के लिए यहां पर पुलिस कैम्प लगा दिया है. डौंडियाखेड़ा में खजाने को लेकर हो रही खुदाई की खबर सुनने के बाद अब यहां के स्थानीय निवासी भी इस किले में छिपे हुये खजाने की खोज करने की मांग करने लगे हैं.

Legends of Chunar Fort - A Documentary
The Chunar Fort (also known as Chandrakanta Chunargarh and Charanadri) is located in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, in India. Along with Chunar town, situated below the fort, the two are historic places with common history and legends. It is located 14 miles (23 km) south west of Varanasi. The southeastern part of the fort is on the rocky bank of the Ganges River. The fort's history spans from 56 BC and then between Afghan decedent Sher Shah Suri's (1532) rule, the Mughal Empire rule (Humayun, Akbar and many others including Nawab of Awadh) up to 1772, and finally the British Raj up to 1947 till India gained independence. Chunar railway station is on the Mughalsarai-Kanpur section of Howrah-Delhi main line.Chunar Fort is approached by road from Mirzapur over a distance of 20 miles (32 km) and along the Ganges River by river craft, a 30 miles (48 km) journey. Calcutta is 437 miles (703 km) away and is 14 miles (23 km) south west of Varanasi. The structure is located in the Mirzapur district, 14 miles (23 km) south west of Varanasi, and lies between Varanasi and Mirzapur. The town of the same name is part of the fort's administration. The fort stands on a rock, a detached part of the Vindhya Range, at an elevation of 280 feet (85 m) above sea level. It was built in a commanding position, high above a meander in the Ganges River, near the Kaimur Hills. The approach to Chunar Hill is marked by a chain of low hills, running parallel to the river on its right bank, which is covered by plantations and bungalows. The fort is located on a rock which rises abruptly from the plain, and encroaches into the river for some distance. The southeastern part of the fort is on the rocky bank by the Ganges River, which is navigable for 50- to 60-ton boats. The batteries in the fort command the river reach. The rocky bluff rising from the river on which the fort has been built raises to a height of 104 feet (32 m). Another 200 feet (61 m) further away, the elevation of the rocky hillock is 280 feet (85 m).
There are many legends linking the fort to divine aspects. One such is the story of King Bali. God, known in these parts as Bawan Bhagwan, appeared before Bali, disguised as a Brahmin, and begged for three feet of land. The generous king agreed. God placed his first step on the hill of Chunar Fort and left his foot mark there. Since then it is known as Charanadri, which over the years took the short form of Chunar.
The second legend is about a semi-mythical king called Vikramāditya of Ujjain. His brother Bharthari, who opted to live the life of a hermit, started living near the rockface of Chunar. Realising his brother’s situation, Vikramadiathya visited Chunar, and after finding out his brother's whereabouts through the hermit Goraknath, built a house for his brother to live in. The black stone where the saint Bhatinath lived and prayed is worshiped even now, as it is believed that Bhatinath is seated in the fort area in an invisible form.
Another legend linked to the well known king of Rajasthan is that Prithviraj brought this settlement under his rule and also many neighbouring villages. Subsequent to his demise, his descendants sold the land to Khair-ud-din Subuktagin. An inscription (not very legible) in Sanskrit on the gateway of the fort mentions that the place had been taken over by Swami Raja, who had established a stone tablet recording the event. Later, the fort was acquired by Sahab-ud-din, who in turn appointed a sanidi, an African, and a Bahelia, and gave them titles as hazari (meaning governors of the fort), and also conferred a jagir. It is said that the Bahelia family were in possession of the land holdings till the fort was finally ceded to the British in 1772.

This Vlog(चुनार किला वीडियो) is based on my trip to Chunar Fort Mirzapur(चुनार का किला) which is also called Chunargarh ka Kila(चुनार गढ़ किला) or Chandrakanta Chunargarh(चंद्रकांता चुनारगढ़), and in this video I will be telling about Chunar Fort History in Hindi. It is located at about 35 kms away from Mirzapur City and and it has a lot of mysteries(चुनार का किला का रहस्य) attached to it. Reigned by 18 rulers in different times, Chunargarh Kila's history(चुनारगढ़ किले का इतिहास) is quite rich and it is located in Chunar town of Mirzapur district in Uttar Pradesh. A lot of people search for Chunar Fort Varanasi(चुनारगढ़ का किला), and they are not aware where is it located(चुनारगढ़ का किला कहां है), and they think that it lies in Varanasi district but it is actually located in Mirzapur. I personally dont believe in horror stories but I have heard people talking about Chunar Fort Horror Story and they also ask that is Chunar Fort Haunted ? Chunar Fort flag(Chunar Fort Tiranga) is hoisted every year on 15th August, which a lot of people put it as Chunar Fort status on their social media profiles. Chunar ka kila also has a mysterious Chunar Fort Well(चुनार गढ़ किले का रहस्य/चुनारगढ़ का रहस्य). Chunar Fort tour is incomplete without visiting Sonwa Mandap which is considered the main building of this fort, and Chunargarh ka rahasya also centres around this building. Chunargarh ka chandrakanta kila and Chunargarh ka itihaas, Chunargarh ki kahaani is very interesting as it is believed that this fort was also mentioned in hindi serial Chandrakanta in which Raja Shivdutt(चुनारगढ़ का राजा कौन था) lived here in Chunar, which was aired on Doordarshan from 1994 to 1996. Lastly, the British forces occupied the fort until 1947 when India got independence.
Ujjain's King Vikramāditya's elder brother Bharthari, who decided to live the life of a hermit, started near the the rockface of Chunar. Vikramaditya realized his brother's situation, and visited Chunar, and after he found his brother's whereabouts through the well known hermit Goraknath, he built a house for his raja Bharthari to live in. In 16th century, Babur came here in 1529 and many of his soldiers were killed; some of the of his soldiers in Chunar are venerated till date.
In 1532, Sher Khan (also known as Sher Shah Suri ) acquired Chunar Fort by doing two strategic marriages. When Humayun attacked the fort and did a siege here for 4months, he proposed to Sher Khan that he won't claim Chunar and Jaunpur, provided he gave up Bengal. Finally Sher Khan succumbed to pressure and accepted this deal with Humayun. However, Sher Khan recaptured this fort when Humayun started his march towards Bengal. The last from the Sur dynasty Adil Shah remained at this fort till the year 1556 and he handed over the entire administration as well as the military powers to the Hindu Prime Minister Hemu. Fort came under the Mughal Empire's control in 1575. Akbar visited Chunar for hunting in the year 1575 and he acquired it as he felt that it is strategically located for guarding the Ganga River and the major land routes that come towards eastern India. Marathas of Kalinjar attacked Chunar fort with full cavalary and finally captured it. The fort was given to Raja of Benaras, for 2.5 lakhs cauth per year. In the year 1804 Marathas ceded all their territories located in Bundelkhand to the British East India Company after their defeat in the second Anglo-Maratha war.
The Sonwa Mandap, which is an open pavilion has a total of 28 pillars and is built in Hindu architecture. An engraving on its mehrab is said to be completely filled with gold. Sonwa Mandap has 4 gates and a also a secret tunnel at the front yard of the building. In the year 1333 AD, princess Sonwa, who was the daughter of Sandeva, a Nepali king, came here frequently for taking baths in the Ganga River and a well situated here. bawdi measuring 17 feet (5.2 m) diameter and of nearly 200 feet (61 m) depth has perennial water, its source connection to the Ganga River.

This reservoir/dam has been constructed on River Jargo during second five year plan (1956-59). The place is surrounded by hilly ranges and the natural panorama presents a very beautiful picturesque landscape. It is a beautiful picnic spot with bathing & fishing facilities. The lake/reservoir is spread over an area of about 20 km2. Embankments of the reservoir measure about 5 miles, 4 furlong, and 14 feet and has 12 floodgates. The maximum height of the dam is about 100 feet. This dam provides irrigation facilities to Mirzapur, Varanasi & Ghazipur districts. An inspection house of the Irrigation department is also available here.

उत्तर प्रदेश के मिर्जापुर जिले में स्थित चुनार दुर्ग (CHUNAR FORT) भारत के ऐतिहासिक धरोहरों में शुमार है । मिर्जापुर के चुनार में स्थित चुनार किला कैमूर पर्वत की उत्तर दिशा में स्थित है । यह किला मां गंगा के किनारे पर स्थित है । यह किला एक समय हिंदु शक्ति का केंद्र हुआ करता था हिंदू काल के अवशेष अभी तक इस किले में है जिनमें महत्वपूर्ण चित्र अंकित है । पवित्र गंगा कि कल कल करती धाराओं से लगा यह क्षेत्र महज भूखंड ही नहीं बल्कि कला और संस्कृति का अद्भुत अध्याय है । यहां के माटी माटी में अतीत के अनेकों अनेक रूप में विद्यमान है वाराणसी से 45 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्थित चुनार गढ़ (CHUNAR STRONGHOLD)किला 16वीं शताब्दी में उज्जैन के राजा विक्रमादित्य द्वारा निर्मित किया गया था । बताया जाता है कि विक्रमादित्य के भाई भरथरी ने विलासिता और लोभ के जीवन से दूर होके चुनार आकर के तप साधना करने लगे। विक्रमादित्य बहुत मनाने के बाद भी जब भरथरी नहीं लौटे तो विक्रमादित्य उनकी रक्षा के लिए इस किले का निर्माण करवाया था । किले में आज भी भरतरी की तपस्थली और समाधि स्थल बनी हुई है
इस किले का ये है डाक बंगला और इस वक्त यह किला पीएसी का परीक्षण केंद्र बना है। तथा इस किले के अधिकांश हिस्से में आम नागरिकों का प्रवेश वर्जित है।
इसके अलावा सोनवा मंडप, सूर्य घड़ी, विशाल कुआं, बड़ी सुरंग और मुगलों के मकबरे भी हैं। इन सबका निर्माण शेरशाह सूरी ने करवाया था। अंग्रेजी हूकुमत के दौर में भी सैन्य दृष्टि से इस किले का काफी महत्व था। लॉर्ड वारेन हेस्टिंग्स का यह पसंदीदा स्थल भी रहा है।

स्वामी श्री अड़गड़ानंद जी महाराज 23 वर्ष की आयु में सत्य की खोज में वैरागी संत परमहंस जी के पास आए। परमानंद जी का आश्रम चित्रकूट में अनुसुइया, सतना, मध्य प्रदेश (India) में जंगली जानवरों से भरे घने जंगलों के बीच था। सुविधा के अभाव में ऐसे निर्जन वन में रहना ठीक ही दर्शाता है कि वह एक सिद्ध ऋषि थे।

The Chunar Fort (also known as Chandrakanta Chunargarh and Charanadri) is located in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, in India. Along with Chunar town, situated below the fort, the two are historic places with common history and legends.
The southeastern part of the fort is on the rocky bank of the Ganges River. The fort's history spans from 56 BC and then between Afghan decedent Sher Shah Suri's (1532) rule, the Mughal Empire rule (Humayun, Akbar and many others including Nawab of Awadh) up to 1772, and finally the British Raj up to 1947 till India gained independence.

यहाँ पर महाशिवरात्रि और सावन के महीने में भक्तों की भारी भीड़ उमड़ती है ।
यह जगह उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य में सोनभद्र जिले के घोरावल से 10 किमी दूर सतद्वारी गांव के पास पड़़ता है ।

The Chunar Fort is located in Mirzapur district of Uttar Pradesh, in India. Along with Chunar town, situated below the fort, the two are historic places with common history and legends. It is located 23 kilometres south west of Varanasi. The southeastern part of the fort is on the rocky bank of the Ganges River
he Chunar Fort was established by Maharaja Vikramaditya, the King of Ujjain, in honour of the stay of his brother Raja Bharthari. It is believed that Raja Bharthari left his body and took Mahasamadhi at this fort, a servant disciple is still taking care of the place and offers deepam dhupam to the Raja everyday (as of 8 November 2011).
As per Alha Khand in 1029 AD. King Sahadeo made this fort as his capital and established the statue of Naina Yogini in a cave of Vindhya hill and put the name as Nainagarh. King Sahadeo built a stone umbrella based on 52 pillars in the memory of the victory on 52 other kings, inside the fort which is still preserved. He had a brave daughter who got married with Alha the then King of Mahoba whose marriage place in still preserved with the name of Sonava Mandap. Beside this some other stories are also related with the fort as Magna- Deogarh, Ratan Deo’s Burj (tower) and King Pithaura who named it Patthargarh as well

वाराणसी-शक्तिनगर मार्ग पर अहरौरा क्षेत्र से करीब सात किलोमीटर दूर जंगल में प्रकृति का ऐसा बेजोड़ संगम है जिसे देखने के बाद हर कोई यहां बार-बार आना चाहेगा। यहां से मात्र ढाई किलोमीटर दूर लिखनिया दरी जो पानी पहुंचता है, वह चूना दरी जलप्रपात से होकर ही जाता है। हालांकि अच्छी सड़क व सरकारी उदासीनता की वजह से यह स्थान आज भी दुर्गम बना हुआ है और प्रति वर्ष यहां आने वाले सैलानियों की संख्या भी कम है। जबकि यहां सिर्फ पहुंच मार्ग दुरुस्त कर दिया जाए तो जिले के पर्यटन नक्शे में चूना दरी को टाप पर पहुंचने में समय नहीं लगगा।
जनपद मुख्यालय से 59 किलोमीटर दूर लेकिन वाराणसी से मात्र 44 किमी दूर चूना दरी जिले के पर्यटन में खास पहचान रखता है। चुनार से मात्र 24 किमी दूर चूना दरी पहुंचने का रास्ता काफी दुर्गम है और सैकड़ों वर्ष पहले ही पत्थर का बना एक रास्ता है जो यहां तक पहुंचता है। लिखनिया दरी ज्यादा प्रसिद्ध है और वहां पहुंचना भी आसान है लेकिन चूना दरी पहुंचना काफी मुश्किल है। बहुत ही कम पर्यटक होते हैं जो फाल के निचले हिस्से तक पहुंच पाते हैं। मुख्य सड़क से जंगल की तरफ बढ़ने पर पहाड़ी रास्ता दिखाई देता है और चारों ओर जंगली झाड़ियां व पहाड़ियां दिखाई देती हैं। खप्पर बाबा आश्रम से आगे निकलते ही पहाड़ी रास्ता खत्म होने लगता है और जो ²श्य सामने दिखता है वह किसी को भी विस्मृत कर देने के लिए काफी है। चूना दरी पहुंचने वाले सत्येंद्र बताते हैं कि इस जल प्रपात का दो तरह से आनंद लिया जा सकता है। यहां उपरी भाग पर पहुंचना आसान है और सामने करीब 159 फीट की गहराई में पानी गिरता दिखाई देता है हालांकि प्रशासनिक अधिकारी अभी तक इसकी गहराई का अनुमान नहीं लगा पाए हैं। पहाड़ ही उंचाई को ही मानक मान लिया गया है।
शानदार नजारा, जंगली जीवन
चूना दरी प्रकृति का शानदार नजारा प्रस्तुत करता है। चूना दरी न सिर्फ प्राकृतिक रुप से समृद्ध है बल्कि यहां पर जंगल का भी अच्छा ²श्य दिखता है। जंगली लंगूरों से आबाद इस क्षेत्र में नवंबर से फरवरी तक सैलानियों की भीड़ उमड़ती है। वहीं गर्मी के महीने स्थानीय पर्यटक पिकनिक मनाने के लिए यहां पहुंचते हैं। इसी दौरान कुछ स्कूलों के बच्चे भी यहां स्टडी टूर के लिए आते हैं। इस पर्यटक स्थल पर समुचित विकास व सैलानियों के लिए सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जाएं तो इसकी छटा कुछ और होगी।
पहुंच मार्ग नहीं, समस्या
चूना दरी फाल तक पहुंचने का रास्ता बेहद संकरा व सैकड़ों साल पुरानी झाड़ियों, पेड़ों से अटा पड़ा है। सामान्य सड़क से करीब एक किलोमीटर अंतर तक जाने का रास्ता किसी एडवेंचर कैंप में शिरकत करने जैसा अनुभव देता है। इसी का नतीजा है कि यहां तक लोग पहुंचने से पहले ही वापस चले जाते हैं। हालांकि विदेशी पर्यटकों की मौजूदगी यहां हमेशा देखी जा सकती है। कई बार तो कुछ पर्यटर कुंड में उतरने तक की हिम्मत दिखाते हैं जबकि इसकी गहराई काफी है और दुर्घटना भी हो चुकी है।
पर्यटन बढ़े तो लोग बढ़ें
स्थानीय लोग बताते हैं कि लिखनिया दरी की अपेक्षा चूना दरी का विकास न के बराबर हुआ है। यहां पर सिर्फ बेहतर सड़क बना दी जाए तो आसपास के लोगों की जिदगी में भी बदलाव आएगा लेकिन अभी तक ऐसा नहीं होने से लोग हताश व निराश हैं। यहां शुद्ध हवा और प्राकृतिक सौंदर्य के बीच बिताए गए कुछ पल ही जिदगी भर के लिए यादगार बन जाते हैं।

चूना दरी वास्तव में वह छिपा हुआ प्राकृतिक नगीना है जिसे सिर्फ एक सड़क की दरकार है। यहां तक पहुंचना आसान हो जाए तो लोगों के लिए यह शानदार पर्यटन स्थल बनेगा।

किले में प्राचीन विशाल कुंआ स्थित है। इस कुएं मे जाने के लिए चौड़े रास्ते के साथ ही सीढ़ियां बनी हैं। इस पर चलकर कुएं के पानी तक पहुंचा जा सकता है। इसके मार्ग पर प्राचीन लिपि में कुछ लिखा गया है, जो इस किले को और भी रहस्यमयी बनाता है।

चुनार का किला
मिर्जापुर के चुनार में स्थित चुनार किला कैमूर पर्वत की उत्तरी दिशा में स्थित है। यह गंगा नदी के दक्षिणी किनारे पर बसा है। यह दुर्ग गंगा नदी के ठीक किनारे पर स्थित है। यह किला एक समय हिंदू शक्ति का केंद्र था। हिंदू काल के भवनों के अवशेष अभी तक इस किले में हैं, जिनमें महत्वपूर्ण चित्र अंकित हैं। इस किले में आदि-विक्रमादित्य का बनवाया हुआ भतृहरि मंदिर है जिसमें उनकी समाधि है। किले में मुगलों के मकबरे भी हैं।
18 अप्रैल सन 1924 को मिर्जापुर के तत्कालीन कलक्टर द्वारा दुर्ग पर लगाये एक शिलापत्र पर उत्कीर्ण विवरण के अनुसार उज्जैन के सम्राट विक्रमादित्य के बाद इस किले पर 1141 से 1191 ई. तक पृथ्वीराज चौहान, 1198 में शहाबुद्दीन गौरी, 1333 से स्वामीराज, 1445 से जौनपुर के मुहम्मदशाह शर्की, 1512 से सिकन्दर शाह लोदी, 1529 से बाबर, 1530 से शेरशाहसूरी और 1536 से हुमायूं आदि शासकों का अधिपत्य रहा है। शेरशाह सूरी से हुए युद्ध में हुमायूं ने इसी किले में शरण ली थी।
इस प्रसिद्ध किले का पुनरनिर्माण शेरशाह सूरी द्वारा करवाया गया था। इस किले के चारों ओर ऊंची-ऊंची दीवारें मौजूद है। यहां से सूर्यास्त का नजारा देखना बहुत मनोहारी प्रतीत होता है। कहा जाता है कि एक बार इस किले पर अकबर ने कब्जा कर लिया था। उस समय यह किला अवध के नवाबों के अधीन था। किले में सोनवा मण्डप, सूर्य धूपघड़ी और विशाल कुंआ मौजूद है।
मुगल बादशाह हुमायूँ और अफगान सरदार शेरशाह के बीच हुए युद्धों में इस किले का विशेष महत्व रहा है। १५३९ ई. में शेरशाह ने इसपर अधिकार कर लिया, फिर अकबर के शासनकाल में १५७५ ई. में इसपर पुन: मुगलों का अधिकार हो गया। १८वीं शताब्दी में यह किला अवध के नवाब के अधिकार में रहा, जिनसे तीव्र और दीर्घकालीन अवरोध के बाद १७६३-६४ में इस को अंग्रेजों ने जेनरल कार्नाक के सेनापतित्व में छीन लिया। इसके बाद सितंबर, १७८१ में इसके संबध में एक संधिपत्र पर अवध के नवाब तथा हेंस्टिंग्ज ने हस्ताक्षर किए। कंपनी के शासनकाल में सीमा पर स्थित होने के कारण काफी समय तक इसका सैनिक महत्व बना रहा। वारेन हेस्टिंग्ज का यह अत्यंत प्रिय निवासस्थान था। कंपनी ने चुनार का उपयोग अपन सेनाओं के वृद्ध तथा रोगी सैनिकों को बसाने के लिये किया था। यूरोपीय लोगों का निवासस्थान होने के चिह्न अभी तक कब्रगाह और गिरजाघर के रूप में वर्तमान हैं।
