I went for a walk in Gerlingen, which is about 30 min by U-Bahn from Stuttgart central station.
It's a lovely town where old wooden houses still remain.
While walking around the town, I stopped by a bookstore and met a kind shopkeeper. She was a friendly shopkeeper who gave me advice and recommended books. I'd definitely like to visit again to look for more books :)

Stuttgart is a city that’s made for sightseeing.

You’ve heard of Oktoberfest, right? Well let me introduce you to Frühlingsfest, the less touristy and more authentic version of Oktoberfest. I went for just one day and I can honestly say it’s one of the most fun festivals I’ve ever been to.
Stuttgart is also a city famous for cars with two awesome museums that’ll please any petrolhead – the Mercedes-Benz Museum and the Porsche Museum.
With so much to see and do, it’s easy to see why Stuttgart is one of the most popular places to visit in Germany.

Lisa ist wieder unterwegs: Schduagert, Stuggi, Benztown oder einfach nur Stuttgart. Die Schwabenmetropole ist mit rund 635.000 Einwohnern die sechstgrößte Stadt Deutschlands, mit Daimler und Porsche die Heimat der deutschen Automobilfirmen – und hat immer noch eine riesengroße Baustelle, und zwar die zweitgrößte Baustelle Deutschlands. Stuttgart ist starker Wirtschaftsstandort, kultureller Hotspot und eine eigene Mischung aus grünem Selbstverständnis und kreativem Erfindergeist.
Um 950 als Stutengarten gegründet, bestimmt das „Rössle“ immer noch das Wappen der Stadt. Weinberge, Neckartal und Grünanlagen machen das terrassenförmige Bild der Stadt aus, die Orientierung bleibt dennoch schwierig. Die Bezeichnung Kesselstadt ist nicht nur Synonym für die Lage und das Klima - sondern umschreibt auch die Liebe vieler Stuttgarter, ihre Stadt aus verschiedensten Blickwinkeln von oben zu betrachten. Von vielerorts sichtbar ist der 216 Meter hohe Fernsehturm, Wahrzeichen der Stadt – und erster Fernsehturm der Welt. Wer Kunst sucht, findet viel. Die mehrfach ausgezeichnete Kulturhauptstadt bietet erstklassige Kulturstätten neben progressiven Ausstellungen der freien Szene. Nur bei der Wahl des trendigsten Szeneviertel streiten sich die Geister: West? Süd? Ost? Bohnenviertel oder Heubergviertel? Einigkeit herrscht dafür in der Küche: Stuttgart schwört auf Tradition. Geschmälzte Maultaschen mit Kartoffelsalat, Linsen und Spätzle - ein Muss, am liebsten frisch aus der Markthalle oder in der Lieblings-Weinstube.

From Stuttgart central station, we took the U-Bahn to Gerlingen, about 30min away.
This time we visited the Stadtmuseum, which is housed in a historic building, and Löwe Schlossberg.
We highly recommend it, because from the hill you get a great view of the lovely town of Gerlingen!
