I Ride China's Luxury Sleeper Train / 票价两三万多真的值吗？我坐中国最高级火车
I travel aboard China's luxury sleeper train, running through the Hulunbuir prairie, in Inner Mongolia. But how does it compare to luxury train travel in other countries?
The train, known as The Hulunbuir, is a retro-fitted 'green skin' slow train; the kind of train that once dominated China's train tracks.
Known as the Grassland Forest Tourism Train route, it travels through the remotest areas of Hulunbuir, allowing people to get off at a number of amazing beauty spots. Passengers then stay for a few days in each location prior to getting back on the train as they head to the next stop.
Luxury sleeper cabins and 4-course meals meals await the passengers, but tickets range from 20,000-30,000 RMB ($2700-$4100). Is it worth it?

(ENG SUB) Genhe, The Coldest City in China, where Even the Items at the Market are Frozen
Genhe is one of the coldest cities in China in Hulunbuir. The city is cold and humid enough to have frozen ice for 210 days out of 365 days, and its average temperature in winter is -32ºC. According to the record, the city has reached -58ºC once. Barely any cars or people are on the streets in the cold city. I visited a market thinking it'd be crowded, but the market was not an exception. It feels like they won't need a freezer when the city itself is a gigantic freezer. The items on the display stands are all frozen. Even the fruits are frozen, and they need to be heated in hot water before being eaten.

Hulunbuir City in China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is famed for its world-class grassland of the same name - Hulunbuir Grassland (or called Hulun Buir Grassland). Almost all of us are familiar with the boundless green scenery of the grassland. However, for a city of its rich landscapes and varied geography, its surprising how relatively few of us know the city's other attractions, many of them are not inferior to any natural wonders in the world!
Both Shiwei and Enhe claim to be the Last Russian Town in China. And the fact is that almost all the towns built by the Ergun River are inhabited by the descendants of Chinese-Russian, including Shiwei, Enhe, Linjiang, etc., while Shiwei and Enhe are the most popular Russian Towns for tourists. In both Shiwei and Enhe, you can sample a strong flavor of Russia, because Russian traditions, culture and life are well-kept there. Rows of Russian-style Mukeden houses are everywhere. The restaurants serve Russian breads (or called Big Lieba), pickles, caviar, etc. The locals may also welcome their guests with homemade red bean wine.
Wander in Mordaoga National Forest Park
It is said that Mordaoga National Forest Park is the largest forest park in China. About 93.3 percent of the park is forest.
Autumn, especially September, is the best time to visit Mordago National Forest Park. Flocks of photography lovers will gather there and capture the picturesque forests, rivers and islands during then. Bailu Island, or named White Egret Island, is their best pick. Wandering in the forest, you will forgot everything but indulge in the natural peace.

4K driving tour of Qinghai Gobi desert highway in China, on famous national highway G315 from Mangya City to Lenghu Town without music.
Highway 315 is a national highway in China, starting from Xining, Qinghai and ending at Tuergat in Kyzylsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, the whole distance is 3063 kilometers. This national highway passes through two provinces, Qinghai and Xinjiang, is full of barren Gobi mountains and desert.
Mangya City, belonging to Haixi Mongolian Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the northwest border of Qinghai Province, at the western edge of the Qaidam Basin, with a total area of 49,900 square kilometers.
In the Han Dynasty, the area around the Mangya belonged to the Ruoqiang state, and on December 27, 2018, the city of the Mangya in Haixi Mongolian Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province was officially inaugurated. At the end of 2021, the highway mileage of Mogya City was 1200.829 kilometers. There are mainly cultural tourism resources such as alien ruins, Zhangqian Silk Road, Shuiyazidun, petroleum ruins, and natural scenic spots such as Emerald Lake, Thousand Buddha Cliff, Gasi Lake, Danxia Landform Hero Ridge, Aral Wetland and the largest Yadan landform group in China.
Lenghu Town (Meaning Cold Lake), a town under the jurisdiction of Mangya City, Haixi Mongolian Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the northwest of Mangya City, located in the northwest edge of Qaidam Basin, bordered by Dachaidan Administrative District in the east, Mangya Town in the west, Aksai Kazakh Autonomous County in Gansu Province in the north, and Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture in Xinjiang in the northwest.
The town of Lenghu got its name from the cold lake in the territory, which was named in 1956. Lenghu was originally a no-man's land and was under the jurisdiction of Dulan County. In 1957, the Lenghu Office was established under the direct administration of the Qaidam Committee. In 1960, the city of Lenghu was established. In 1964, it was downgraded to town. In 1992, it was upgraded to the Administrative Council. In 1993, the town of Lenghu was restored.
Lenghu Town originally took oil exploitation as the main pillar industry, but due to the depletion of oilfield resources and the westward relocation, the development of Lenghu Town was affected.

Inner Mongolia Trip: Part 1
In 2019 June we visited Inner Mongolia, autonomous region of China. From the capital Beijing it took 10 hours by bus (depends on traffic). Its roughly 500 km from Beijing to Hohhot City, Capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region. This video is mostly about horse riding and the experience we had there in the grasslands. Grasslands is a bit far from the capital hohhot and it is a very rural area where there is no proper roads, facilities and services like hospitals and schools. The local people we met there was mostly nomads. And the resort we stayed for one night were the people who was doing business in that area.
