1- Chitralekha udyan -
Cole Park, Tezpur is a very picturesque park near the centre of Tezpur. It has recently been renamed as Chitralekha Udyan although both names are synonymous. The name is after a famous character in Agnigarh Aniruddha-Usha love story It has had a long tradition of hosting painting/drawing competitions for the nearby schools due to the various features it possesses.
2- Agnigarh Hill -
Agnigarh is a hillock located in Tezpur, Assam, India.[1] In Hindu mythology, it is the site of the fortress which was built by Banasura to keep his daughter Usha in isolation. The name itself is derived from the words 'Agni' (meaning fire) and 'garh' (meaning fortress or wall) in Sanskrit.
3 - Nagsankar Temple -
Nag-Sankar Temple is a famous shrine situated near Sootea, to the east of Tezpur, in Sonitpur District. The temple is believed to be built by King Narasankar of Nagakha in the 4th century.
4 - Kolia bhomora Setu -
Kolia Bhomora Setu is a pre-stressed concrete road bridge over the Brahmaputra River near Tezpur and Kaliabor in Assam, India. It is named after the Ahom General Kolia Bhomora Phukan.[1][2] The bridge falls on route of National Highway 715, previously known as NH-37A.
5 - Mahabhairav Temple -
The ancient Mahabhairav Temple is located at a hillock on the northern part of Tezpur town in Assam, India.[1] This Shiva temple was originally built of stone but the present one was renovated and built with concrete. During the Ahom rule, the kings especially of the Tungkhungia dynasty donated large area of Devotee land to the Temple and appointed pujaris, Paiks to look after the temple.
6 - Padampukhuri -
Its the only one lake park in town with boating facelities lots of things to do like toy train and many more 5 minutes distance from town hotels
7 - Bamuni hills -
The ancient ruins of the Bamuni Hills located in Tezpur of Sonitpur district in Assam is a treat for any archaeology enthusiast.
8 - Dhekiajuli -
Dhekiajuli is a town and a municipal board in Sonitpur district in the state of Assam, India. And it is famous for litchi's farms .
9 - hazarpur lake -
Hazarpar Lake situated in Tezpur . andthis is a good place for morning walk and this is a good place for picnic spot .
10 - District museum -
The Tezpur District museum is one of the 12 state museums of Assam located in the heart of Tezpur town. The Museum was established on 16th March 1986 under the Directorate of Museums, Guwahati, Assam. Earlier, the museum was put up in Darrang College, then shifted to Tezpur Sahitya Sabha and finally in the year 2002, the museum was finally shifted and set up permanently in the British historic building �Dak- Bungalow�.. The museum has more than 555 number of objects. It consists of a wide collection of antiquities, sculptures, manuscripts, copper plate inscriptions, manuscripts, Ahom period cannons and craft of various communities and satra institutions.

আনুমানিক ১৭০০ শতাব্দীর দিকে এই জমিদার বাড়িটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছে বলে ধারনা করা হয়। গৌরীপুর জমিদার বাড়ি হলেও পাশাপাশি এখানে দুই জমিদারের জমিদারী ছিল। তাই তাদের আলাদা আলাদা দুইটি বাড়ি ছিল। স্থানীয়রা একটিকে আনন্দ কিশোরের ও অন্যটিকে সুরেন্দ্র প্রসাদ লাহড়ীর জমিদার বাড়ি হিসেবে বলে থাকে। তবে কে এই জমিদার বাড়ির মূল প্রতিষ্ঠাতা তার কোন তথ্য পাওয়া যায়নি। জমিদার আনন্দ কিশোরের বাড়িটি এখন গৌরীপুর মহিলা কলেজ ও জমিদার সুরেন্দ্র প্রসাদ লাহিড়ীর বাড়িটি গৌরীপুর সরকারী কলেজ হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হচ্ছে।

২ .পাহাড়পুর বৌদ্ধ বিহার, বদলগাছী নওগাঁ বালুডাংগা বাস টার্মিনাল হতে সরাসরি বাসযোগে ঐতিহাসিক পাহাড়পুরে যাওয়া যায় |আনুমানিক দূরত্ব আনুমানিক ৩২ কিঃমিঃ বাসভাড়া- ৩০- ৪০ টাকা
৩. বলিহার রাজবাড়ী, নওগাঁ সদরঃ জেলা সদর হতে দূরত্ব ২০ কিঃ মিঃ। সড়কপথে যেকোন যানবাহনে যাওয়া যায় ।
৪ .পতিসর কাচারীবাড়ী, আত্রাই জেলা সদর হতে দূরত্ব ৪৮ কিঃ মিঃ। সড়কপথে যেকোন যানবাহনে যাওয়া যায়।
৫. জবাইবিল জেলা শহর হতে বাসযোগে আনুমানিক ২ ঘন্টা থেকে ২ঘন্টা ৩০ মিনিট লাগবে

১১ .কুশুম্বা মসজিদ নওগাঁ হতে রাজশাহী মহাসড়কের মান্দা ব্রিজ থেকে পশ্চিম দিকে কুশুম্বা নামক স্থানের ৪০০ মিটার উত্তরে ঐতিহাসিক কুশুম্বা শাহী মসজিদ ও কুশুম্বা দিঘি অবস্থিত।
১২ .ঠাকুর মান্দা মন্দির নওগাঁ, রাজশাহী রোডে মান্দা ব্রিজ থেকে হাজী গোবিন্দপুর মোড় থেকে সোজা পশ্চিম দিকে ঠাকুর মান্দা বিল পার হয়ে কাঁচা রাস্তার সাথে অবস্তিত। তবে বর্ষা মৌসুমে প্রায় ১ কিলো মিটার রাস্তা পানির কারনে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে পড়ে। ফলে সে সময় নৌকা যোগাযোগের ব্যবস্থা থাকে। তবে মান্দা থানার উপর দিয়ে পরানপুর হয়ে শড়ক পথে ঠাকুর মান্দা যাওয়ার এ রাস্তাটি সারা বছরই চলাচল উপযোগী।
১৩ .হাপানিয়া খেয়া ঘাট সাপাহার উপজেলার জিরো পয়েন্ট হতে বাস/অটোরিক্সা/ভাড়ায় চালিত মটর সাইকেল যোগে গোয়ালা ইউনিয়নে যেতে হবে। তার এখান হতে পায়ে হেটে বা ভ্যানে করে হাপানিয়া খেয়া ঘাটে যেতে হবে। এই হাপানিয়া ঘাট থেকেই পূর্নভবা নদীর অপরুপ দৃশ্য অবলোকন করা যায়। উপজেলা সদর হতে ১৫ কিঃমিঃ দূরত্ব।

When Ramgopalpur zamindar Yogendra Kishore Roy Chowdhury’s son, Shourindra Kishore Roy Chowdhury, was born in 1293 Bengali, he was named after his father. ‘Barendravahman Zamindar,’ a book about the history of Gauripur’s zamindars by Shourindra Kishore Roy Chowdhury, became a bestseller.
Ramgopalpur zamindar Ghar (Ramgopalpur Zamindar Bari) was allegedly built in the 1850s, according to legend. Specific details concerning the Ramgopalpur zamindar dynasty’s founding father have not been unearthed
The zamindars of Gauripur, a 150-year-old estate, left the nation during the partition of India in 1947. As a result, as time goes on, the Ramgopalpur tradition likewise faces extinction.
Once upon a time there was a zoo, villa and Sagardighi but now they are all just memories of the Ramgopalpur zamindar residence.
Zamindar residences have been demolished leaving just two entranceways, crumbled walls, and abandoned shrines. The zamindar ghar temple still hosts a number of pujas. One of the oldest tourist attractions in Mymensingh is the Mymensingh Fort.

To get to Ramgopalpur, the zamindar of Ramgopalpur will show him the way if he comes to the market from Mymensingh via bus or CNG road and asks anyone local.

মাটিয়াবগ হাৱাখানা (ইংৰাজী: Matiabag Palace বা Matiabag Hawakhana) অসমৰ ধুবুৰী জিলাৰ গৌৰীপুৰৰ ওচৰত ৩১নং ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় ঘাইপথৰ দাঁতিত অৱস্থিত।[1] এই ঐতিহ্যপূৰ্ণ প্ৰসাদটো গদাধৰ নদীৰ পাৰত মাটিয়াবগ টিলাৰ ওপৰত গৌৰীপুৰৰ জমিদাৰ ৰাজা প্ৰভাত চন্দ্ৰ বৰুৱাই নিৰ্মাণ কৰাইছিল।[2] অৱসৰ বিনোদনৰ কাৰণে নিৰ্মাণ কৰা এই ৰাজহাউলিটো মাটিয়াবগ হাৱাখানা নামেৰে প্ৰসিদ্ধ। এই প্ৰসাদটিতে ভাৰতীয় বোলছবিৰ আদিপুৰুষ স্বৰূপ স্বৰ্গীয় প্ৰমথেশ চন্দ্ৰ বৰুৱাই শৈশৱকাল কটাইছিল।[1] তদুপৰি ইয়াতেই বিখ্যাত গোৱালপৰীয়া লোকগীত শিল্পী প্ৰতিমা পাণ্ডে বৰুৱা আৰু হস্তীকন্যা খ্যাত পাৰ্বতী বৰুৱাও বসবাস কৰিছিল। ইয়াত আজি পৰ্যন্ত বহুতো বোলছবিৰ শ্বুটিং কৰা হৈছে।
লোকবিশ্বাস মতে এবাৰ ৰজা প্ৰতাপ চন্দ্ৰ বৰুৱাই (ৰঙামাটিৰ জমিদাৰ) চিকাৰ কৰিবলৈ আহি এই ঠাইত এটা ভেকুলীয়ে এটা সাপক খায় থকাৰ এক অদ্ভুত দৃশ্য দেখা পায়। তেওঁ দেৱী মহামায়াৰ ভক্ত আছিল আৰু ইয়াক দেৱীয়ে দিয়া কোনো বিশেষ ইংগিত বুলি মানি লৈছিল। পিছলৈ তেখেতে ইয়াতে দেৱী মহামায়াৰ এটি মন্দিৰ নিৰ্মাণ কাৰে আৰু এই ঠাইখনক গৌৰীপুৰ বুলি নামকৰণ কৰে (গৌৰী হৈছে মহামায়াৰ আন এটি নাম)। লগতে তেওঁ নিজ জমিদাৰিৰ সদৰ ৰঙামাটিৰ (বৰ্তমান বাংলাদেশত) পৰা গৌৰীপুৰলৈ স্থানান্তৰ কৰে।[4] যদিও আধুনিক গৌৰীপুৰ নগৰৰ ৰূপৰেখা ৰাজা প্ৰতাপ চন্দ্ৰ বৰুৱাই তৈয়াৰ কৰিছিল, এই নগৰৰ সৌন্দৰ্যবৰ্দ্ধনৰ কাম কৰিছিল প্ৰভাত চন্দ্ৰ বৰুৱাই। প্ৰভাত চন্দ্ৰ বৰুৱাই বহুতো জনহিতকৰ কৰি থৈ গৈছে। চিকিৎসালয় নিৰ্মাণ, শিক্ষা বিস্তাৰ, সাহিত্য-সংস্কৃতিৰ পৃষ্ঠপোষকতা কৰাৰ উপৰিও তেখেতে ৰাস্তা, বাগিছা, পুখুৰী আৰু বহুকেইটা ভৱন নিৰ্মাণ কৰিছিল। তেখেতে গৌৰীপুৰত ৰাজ হাউলি আৰু মূলতঃ অৱসৰ বিনোদনৰ বাবে মটিয়াবগ টিলাৰ ওপৰত হাৱাখানা নিৰ্মাণ কৰিছিল।

History of Gouripur Kali Temple:
The original capital of the Savarnas was in Virati region near the present Dum Dum Airport. The place is still called Rajbari. These Savarnas' military feudal lords (their Podel designation, probably Bagdi in caste) lived in this Gauripur and this Maa Kali was probably their deity originally.
The temple on Jessore Road later became an important place for motorists. No new car starts plying the road without doing mother puja. And no matter how old the bus is, the conductor will throw coins from the moving car while passing by the temple.
There was also a Kalibari at Virati Mor, above Jessore Road, that was different (comparatively new). He is no longer at Virati Mor, having been moved from Virati Mor during the widening of Jessore Road and has been resettled in the Mahajati area.
Gouripur Kalibari is very old. Gouripur is also an old city. A British-era military paper reported tiger infestation in Gouripur village of Dumdum.
গৌরীপুর কালি মন্দিরের ইতিহাস :
সাবর্ণদের আদি রাজধানী ছিল বর্তমান দমদম বিমানবন্দরের কাছে বিরাটি অঞ্চলে। এখনও রাজবাড়ি বলে জায়গাটাকে। এই সাবর্ণদের সৈন্য সামন্তরা (এদের পোড়েল পদবী, জাতিতে সম্ভবত বাগদি) থাকত এই গৌরীপুরে এবং এই মা কালী সম্ভবত আদিতে এঁদেরই উপাস্য ছিলেন।
যশোর রোডের ওপরে এই মন্দির পরবর্তী কালে যানবাহনের চালকদের কাছে একটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ স্থানে পরিণত হয়। মায়ের পুজো না করে কোনও নতুন গাড়ি এ তল্লাটে রাস্তায় চলতে শুরু করে না। আর যত পুরোনো বাসই হোক, চলন্ত গাড়ি থেকে কন্ডাক্টর পয়সা ছুঁড়ে দেবেই মন্দিরের পাশ দিয়ে যাওয়ার সময়।
এই যশোর রোডের ওপরে বিরাটি মোড়েও একটা কালীবাড়ি ছিল, সেটা আলাদা (তুলনায় নবীন)। সে আর বিরাটি মোড়ে নেই, যশোর রোড চওড়া করার সময় বিরাটি মোড় থেকে সরে গিয়ে মহাজাতি অঞ্চলে পুনঃস্থাপন করা হয়েছে।
গৌরীপুর কালীবাড়ি অনেক পুরোনো। গৌরীপুরও পুরোনো জনপদ। ইংরেজ আমলের একটা সাময়িকপত্রে দমদমের গৌরীপুর গ্রামে বাঘের উপদ্রব হয়েছিল এরকম সংবাদ পড়েছিলাম।
How to go?
Any bus going towards Virati or Madhyam village passes by this temple. Besides, 45/45A and 30B depart from this Gouripur.
The nearest railway station is Virati or Madhyam Village.
যাবেন কি ভাবে ?
বিরাটি অথবা মধ্যম গ্রাম এর দিকে যাওয়া যেকোনো বাস এই মন্দিরের পাশ দিয়ে যায়। এছাড়া ৪৫/৪৫A এবং ৩০B এই গৌরীপুর থেকেই ছাড়ে।
নিকটবর্তী রেলস্টেশন হল বিরাটি অথবা মধ্যম গ্রাম।
