Exploring remote villages in Abruzzo Italy(Italy Vlog)
In today's video I am going to take you through a day in the life in Italy, as we explore two beautiful Italian villages in the region of Abruzzo. The first being Loreto Aprutino and the second village being Penne.
I wanted to make this video to show you what it's like to be in the non touristy side of Italy, where most of the population doesn't speak english and there are little to no tourist to be seen. This is one of my favourite ways to explore new countries as you get a far more authentic experience than going to the highly touristy areas.
There is so much more to offer in Italy and especially I wanted to show how beautiful the region of Abruzzo is because I often get people saying that they haven't even heard of Abruzzo in the first place.

DOVETE VENIRE IN VALSESIA Detto fatto! - Guida per 3 giorni
Dopo il nostro viaggio a Vercelli e Gattinara, in tanti ci avete detto dovete venire in Valsesia! e quindi eccoci qui, un anno dopo, ad esplorare questa zona!
Siamo partiti dalla chiesa più antica della Valsesia, San Giovanni al Monte (20 minuti di passeggiata in salita), e dopo aver fatto un giro a Quarona ci siamo dedicati all'esplorazione di Varallo. Assolutamente imperdibile! Con il suo Sacro Monte, il primo ad essere costruito, che ha poi dato il via ad una moda che è diventato un Patrimonio dell'Umanità UNESCO! Ma in questa città c'è di più: musei di arte, storia naturale e tecnologia, chiese che custodiscono incredibili patrimoni artistici. Non sono da trascurare le vie storiche dove ancora oggi si trovano botteghe che mantengono vive le tradizioni, come quella del Puncetto e della Miaccia (vi mostriamo cosa sono in video).
Nonostante Varallo ci abbia sorpreso per la sua bellezza e la quantità di cose da vedere, non potevamo fermarci qui! Abbiamo risalito la Valmastallone fino a Rimella, il più antico insediamento Walser del Piemonte. C'è anche una frazione arroccata sulla montagna che può essere raggiunta solo a piedi (5 minuti) visto che il sentiero non permette il passaggio delle auto... super poetico!
Siamo stati anche a Rima il paese più alto della Valsesia, ma più noto per il marmo artificiale che ha decisamente viaggiato più di noi!

ARPEPE Cellar Interview Valtellina Italy
Isabella Pelizzatti Perego was one of the first people to greet us in Valtellina.
Her family’s history in wine dates back to the 1860s when Isabella’s great-great-grandfather Giovanni founded Pelizzatti winery. But tragedy does not discriminate, and it fell upon this family when Isabella’s grandfather was diagnosed with cancer in the 1970s. The family had to sell the brand and some vineyards. Her father, Arturo, worked hard to restart the family business. In 1984, he was able to buy back many of their vineyards and regain their cellar in Grumello. The new name for the winery? ArPePe for his initials, Arturo Pelizzatti Perego.
In 2004, the fifth generation of Pelizzatti Perego took the helm.
When you drive through the Valtellina region, at its center near Sondrio, you will find your eye drawn to the Castel Grumello on the hill. Below it, separated by terraces of vines, you find ArPePe.

FRASCAROLO (PAVIA, ITALY)
Frascarolo, Lomellina, provincia di Pavia, Lombardia, Italia. Secondo un'antica leggenda medioevale messer Scarolo, valente cavaliere al ritorno dalle Crociate, stanco di guerre e devastazioni decise di stabilirsi in questa zona e di diventare frate Scarolo, da qui l'origine del nome di questa località: da fra' Scarolo all'attuale Frascarolo con il suo castello. Frascarolo appartenente nell'alto medioevo al Contado di Lomello, fu assoggettato al dominio di Pavia con il diploma del 1164 dell'imperatore Federico I e nel 1250 appare come Frascarolum nell'elenco delle terre pavesi. Nel 1441 la signoria di Frascarolo è assegnata ad Antonio Birago di Milano (il feudo comprende anche la vicina Torre Beretti), viene poi venduta ai Varesini, ritorna ai Birago, che nel 1522 tuttavia subiscono la confisca di questo feudo, che è assegnato insieme a Valenza a Mercurino Arborio di Gattinara. Torna ancora ai Varesini, i quali nel 1614 lo vendono ai Bellisomi di Pavia, che sono nominati Marchesi di Frascarolo. I Bellisomi mantengono poi la signoria fino all'abolizione del feudalesimo (1797). Nel 1713 Frascarolo passa con tutta la Lomellina sotto il dominio dei Savoia e nel 1859 viene incluso nella provincia di Pavia. Nel 1818, o poco prima, fu unito a Frascarolo l'antico comune di Abbazia d'Acqualunga.

Langhe Travel - The Langhe is a hilly area to the south and west of the river Tanaro in the province of Cuneo in Piedmont, northern Italy.
It is famous for its wines, cheeses, and truffles—particularly the white truffles of Alba. The countryside as it was in the first half of the 20th century features prominently in the writings of Beppe Fenoglio and Cesare Pavese, who was born here, in Santo Stefano Belbo.
