Italian food - In this video, I will take you on a street food adventure in Lecce, Puglia, to see the most unknown Italian food in Italy.
To start our Italian food tour in Lecce, Italy, we went to a local pastry shop to eat some unknown Italian sweets for breakfast.
To continue our Italian food tour in Lecce, we went to eat Italy's best panini, the first Puccia in the world.
After that, we went for a coffee break to have Italian pastries and some other Lecce sweets.
Moving on with our Italian food tour in Lecce, we went to a restaurant making traditional Lecce cuisine and we had some of the most unknown Italian food in Italy.
Before dinner, we decided to have a pre-dinner snack, fried calzone with horse meat.
To end our Italian food tour in Lecce, we went to meat heaven. We went to a restaurant that serves some of the most unique and unknown meat in Italy.

Gallipoli Old Town | Walking Tour - ???????? Puglia, Italy
Gallipoli is a southern Italian town and comune in the province of Lecce, in Apulia. In 2014, it had a population of 31,862 and is one of the towns where the Greek dialect Griko is spoken.
The town is located by the Ionian Sea, on the west coast of the Salento Peninsula. The town of Gallipoli is divided into two parts, the modern and the old city. The new town includes all the newest buildings including a skyscraper. The old town is located on a limestone island, linked to the mainland by a bridge built in the 16th century.
The municipality borders with Alezio, Galatone, Matino, Sannicola and Taviano. It counts the hamlets (frazioni) of Baia Verde, Lido Conchiglie, Lido San Giovanni, Rivabella and Torre del Pizzo.

Road Trip to Alberobello, Ostuni & Polignano a Mare
In this episode we take you along to the areas we fell in love with when we first visited Puglia in 2017. We have revisted 2 of these places a few times now. Puglia is the road less travelled in Italy filled with hidden gems. These 3 towns are the most visited in Puglia. Alberobello is a fairytale town, we will take you through our trullo accommodation and the streets of the town. We then visit nearby Ostuni (the white city) elevated high on a hill with sweeping views of the valley and the Adriatic sea (only 8kms from the coast), and lastly we visit the town that won our hearts Polignano a Mare. Please note these towns are touristy unlike the places we have shown you in Salento thus far on our channel. Don't let that shy you away from visiting these magnificent towns, their food and their warm loving people.
