China, the gateway to East Asia, is a fascinating country. It is an ancient civilization that gave the world Peking Man, gunpowder and noodles. Visitors making their first trip to China usually stick to the larger cities. More experienced visitors to the Middle Kingdom will strike out in other directions, where traveling may be a bit more frustrating because of the language barrier, but most definitely doable for independent travelers. Here’s a look at the best places to visit in China:

Places to visit in China,Fuzhou

I've covered the places to visit in fuzhou, fujian,China.Welcome to Fuzhou.
I've stayed in fuzhuo around one year if you need any kind of information about anything of here feel free to connect with me.
Insta :

Fuzhou's people and places are really cool. In my opinion it's really underrated place. The ancient cultural places, incredible architecture, mountains and the natural view will make you amazed.
And also there are many more places to see here. But for the reason of COVID 19 I couldn't go there. I just covered places which are inside of fuzhou main city area.

Here is some information and tips for all the places. You can search these names in Google map or in 百度地图 map and you will easily find the way.

Shangxiahang 上下杭 :
This place has two types of beauty. One in daytime if you want to feel the ancient city of China, historical architect then this is the place. And another In the night time.Smokey river, light and that ancient things combination really creates a different feeling. Try to visit the place in weekends so that you will have a chance to get cultural music and functions.
Preferable Transportation (PT) :
Cycle,Bus,Taxi(serial maintained as per advantage)

Jinjishan park 金鸡山公园 :
Perfect place for having a afternoon walk. There is a cafe at the top. Where you can have Chinese traditional tea with a great view.
PT : Bus,Cycle,Taxi

Haixia Olympic Center 海峡奥林匹克中心 :
Also you can say Fuzhou Strait Olympic center. A place with cool modern architecture. Must enjoy the night view also. And don't forget to come back before 9.00 pm if you are using Bus as yours transportation. Cause after 9.00 pm you will seldomly get busses there.
PT : Taxi,Bus, Cycle

Fuzhou Flower Garden 福州花海公园 :
Depending on seasons this place looks changes.
The Minjiang river, background Gushan mountain and thousands fo flowers collection will must impress you. Go here at afternoon time and you will see lots of kids are enjoying their pleasure time with their grandparents and parents. Also the night city light reflection on Minjiang River will be your memorable time.
PT : Bus,Cycle,Taxi

Fuzhuo Strait Culture Art center 福州海峡文化艺术中心 :
It's a recent project which has finished in 2018. The modern architectural view will make you mesmerised. Sometimes concert and function happens here. If you are lucky enough to get one then enjoy the show.
PT : Taxi,Bus,Cycle

China Tower 罗星塔 :
It's mainly a recent historical place. And if you have interest about ships, sailors then this is a must visit place. You can found details about this place in video. It's around 23 km away from the City center. But it's really worth going.Minjiang river has become wider there. You will really enjoy the port view.
PT : Taxi,Bus,Cycle

Fuzhuo national forest park 福州森林公园 :
Fuzhou is known as the city of banyans.
And world's most oldest banyan tree is here.Which age is more than 900 years. This place really big. You can also go their for hiking. You will found beautiful fountain and mountain. But remember to bring enough food and water with you. Or you can also buy from there.
PT : Bus,Taxi

West lake park 西湖公园 :
I think this is the second most popular spot in fuzhou. Day time or night time, whenever you want you can go there. It's near of Sanfang Qixiang and there are also two-three places attached with this place including Fuzhou Museum and Panda World. If you have interest in china's history, dynasties and cultures then must visit the museum.During month of November if you come here you will be surprised with a lots of flowers collection.
PT : Bus,Cycle,Taxi

OutletsTime 天泽奥莱时代 :
You will wonder is that a part of Europe. Actually it's a shopping mall. But the way it's construction has been done, it's really seems like a Europe's street. So you can have a visit,do some shopping and also you will be able to get a little feeling of euro trip. One of my personal favorite shot taken here.
PT : Taxi,Bus

Guling 鼓岭 :
Mountains, clouds and the nature view will impress you.
PT : Taxi,Bus

Fudao 福道 : A sky walk way on mountains. Such an amazing place to spend some time. Night view also awesome. One side city and another side mountains. Two things combination will give a cool experience.
PT : Bus,Bicycle,Car

My top favorite three places in fuzhou :
I enjoyed all the places in fuzhou but three are my favorite. So I made single video for each one of them.

China's Ancient City Fuzhou Fujian

We spend the day touring around Fuzhou city and end up in the Ancient City area. With 2000 years of history this place was an interesting site to see. Come join Weifang and I on this little adventure.

In 2011 my first grandchild was born with a rare and complex genetic condition called Prader Willi Syndrome. This condition comes with many symptoms, the most prevalent being that she is plagued to feel hungry constantly. Although she is living a life of continued challenges associated with her condition, she is an amazing little girl who has and continues to face everyday with a smile and determination to do her best. My daughter Miranda has set up a fundraising page in support of the Foundation of Prader-Willi Research Canada whose mission is to eliminate the challenges of Prader Willi Syndrome through the advancement of Research. I would greatly appreciate if you would show them some support in their fundraising efforts. Your donations will help make a difference in my granddaughter Emelyn’s life. She is a special little girl.
Thank you!

Fuzhou, an excellent city to live in

If you had to choose a city to live in, where would it be? Writer Yu Dafu gave his answer in 1935, explaining why #Fuzhou is such an excellent choice. Leading with the Chinese character “Fu,” which conveys a sense of prosperity, the city boasts a rich historical cultural heritage, with many gems hidden among its ancient architecture and nestled beside the Mingjiang River. It also served as home to a group of trailblazing pioneers who have made a significant impact on modern China. Thanks to the hard work carried out by generations of Fuzhou people, #FuCulture has been well preserved and passed down. #Fujian

Fuzhou tourism

Fuzhou is the capital and the largest prefecture-level city of Fujian (福建) province, People's Republic of China. It is also referred to as Rongcheng (榕城) which means city of banyan trees.Fuzhou may not be as rich in history as some other ancient Chinese cities but still boasts a fair number of historical sights.

Cost of living in Fuzhou ( China )

#Fuzhou #China #Living #Price

In this video, I talk about the cost of living in China. How much does it cost to live in China? We look at the monthly costs of living in China (in Fuzhou, Fujian province) and at the end we look at the total monthly cost of living in china. Fuzhou, the capital of southeastern China's Fujian province, is a sprawling industrial and transportation hub. Its downtown includes the 3 Lanes and 7 Alleys quarter of preserved Ming and Qing dynasty buildings. The mountaintop Yushan Scenic Area features the restored 10th-century White Pagoda. West Lake Park, dating to 282 A.D., is an urban green area with bridges and pavilions.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please leave a comment below and I'll try my best to help! I'm not a professional editor. I make this video for memory and share a beautiful place

I hope you like this video and thank you very much for your support! Please like the video and subscribe if you enjoyed it and want to see more!

Each of them has its own special history and stories. The ornaments, wood carvings and stone carvings all testify to the buildings' past glories.

------------------------------
★★ What to See in Three Lanes and Seven Alleys
------------------------------
Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is actually a century-old block crisscrossed by historic lanes and alleys. This spot is paved with slab stones; also decorated with white walls as well as gray tiles.

The houses there are built with historic huge-bricks and decorated with seashells, which are easier to get from sea due to Fuzhou coastal location.

This interesting spot looks like a shaped chessboard. Having a bird's eye view of the city, the shape of the lanes and alleys comply with natural features as well as together with other winding narrow paths.

More than 150 ancient buildings can be seen here. And most of them have complete courtyards which are valuable.

The majority of the houses were the homes of scholars, bureaucrats or wealthy figures during ancient times.

There are some former residences of the famous people in China, like Lin Zexu, Bing Xin, etc.. These houses have various shaped ponds, pavilions as well as bridges.

There are huts, halls, public lodgings as well as recreation areas outside the houses, which has unique walls decorated with intricate colorful paintings.

Top 10 best places to visit in China in 2022

China is an interesting country that serves as a gateway to East Asia. China is one of the world's most intriguing travel destinations. Visitors who are visiting China for the first time usually stay in the larger cities. More experienced tourists to the Middle Kingdom will go in different directions, where travel may be a little more difficult due to the language barrier, but it is certainly possible for independent travelers. China now is a stunning, complex, and enthralling country.

Here's a brief overview of the places in this video:

Yu Garden or Yuyuan Garden is an extensive Chinese garden located beside the City God Temple in the northeast of the Old City of Shanghai at Huangpu Qu, Shanghai Shi. It abuts the Yuyuan Tourist Mart, the Huxinting Teahouse, and the Yu Garden Bazaar. Shanghai is a unique city with a jaw-dropping modern skyline but also has some impressive historic architecture. The Great Wall of China is a series of fortifications that were built across the historical northern borders of ancient Chinese states and Imperial China as protection against various nomadic groups from the Eurasian Steppe.

Yes, Jiuzhaigou is still worth visiting after the earthquake. It was beautiful and it is now still beautiful. Local people have done lots of work to make sure it is safe to visit and the essence of the park is not lost. Above all, the original views in Jiuzhaigou were made by earthquakes.

DREAMING Tours China: Fuzhou

In the last part of our theatre tour in China, We visit Fuzhou - Town of dreams and drama and birth place to playwright Tang Xianzu.

While here we learnt of his historical significance as well as his place within idols from the area. We were first class guests in the City and quite an attraction for the locals, with many friendly people coming up to us repeatedly for photos, big crowds wherever we went - even shopping was hard to do without being followed!
