Yangshuo, Guangxi is one of the important tourist towns in China, and was rated as three-star travel recommendation (the highest level) by the Michelin Travel Guide. As the first batch of tourist cities opened to the outside world since the reform and opening up, Yangshuo attracts many tourists with its unique scenery.
Yangshuo has a unique natural landscape, which brings together the essence of Guilin's landscape.
Along the Li River from Guilin is the most famous scenic spot in Yangshuo, passing through Xingping Ancient Town. In the north of Xingping, there is the famous Nine Horse Painting Mountain scenic spot. The scenery of RMB 20 is taken from Fozi Rock near Xingping.
In the town of Yangshuo, the county seat, there are West Street known as the Foreigners' Street, the former residence of Xu Beihong, the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and lecture hall, and the cliff carvings of Bilian Peak. The large-scale real landscape performance Impression Liu Sanjie directed by the famous director Zhang Yimou is also held in the east of the city. It is a must-see show for many tourists in recent years. The peak season still needs to be staged, and it has become a business card for Yangshuo tourism.
From the south of Yangshuo Town to Gaotian Town is the Ten Mile Gallery scenic area, including the famous Moon Mountain, Julongtan, Big Banyan Tree Scenic Area, Butterfly Spring Scenic Area, etc.
Going upstream from the Gongnong Bridge of Shili Gallery along the Yulong River known as the Little Lijiang River, it is also the essence of Yangshuo's scenery. Jiuxian Village in the middle reaches of the Yulong River has not only ancient buildings from the Qing Dynasty, but also the site of Guiyi County in the Tang Dynasty and the Xiangui Bridge, a stone arch bridge in the Song Dynasty. There are Yulong Bridge, Fuli Bridge and the Xanadu scenic spot in the upper reaches of the Yulong River. There is also a small train on the Yulong River that can shuttle through rice fields, flower seas, and lotus ponds.

Yangshuo Mountain Hike is one of the things that you certainly have to do while in Yangshuo. Yangshuo is abound with karst mountains throughout its landscape and there're so many options of hikes to do. Having limited days in Yangshuo, we decided to combine one relatively easy climb (Xianggong Mountain) with another one which is more challenging (Moon Hill). Even so, choosing any one option depending on your fitness is advisable, since you wouldn't wrong with any option. Yangshuo has that 360 degree beauty and viewed from any height, you could get a view that is unbeatable. Just make sure you have sufficient time to do the climb and enjoy the hike!

Dragon bridge Yulong River Guilin China
The Yulong River (Chinese: 遇龙河; pinyin: Yùlóng Hé) is a small tributary of the larger Li River in Southeastern Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region that runs through the major city of Guilin to Yangshuo. The Yulong starts in Northern Yangshuo County near Litang and runs for over 35 kilometres through small villages of the Yulong River Valley, including Litang, Chaolong, Yima and Gaotian town, before emptying into the Li around the town of Ping Le. The Yulong is a shallow river of around 5 meters maximum depth and an average of 25 meters across. As it is not located near any industrial areas, it is clean enough for swimming, though some brownish surface foam is visible in eddys, probably the result of phosphate runoff from local villages.

Unlike the busy Li River, it has no motorized boat traffic and relies completely on bamboo rafts to ferry passengers downriver. This has become a popular tourist activity, with passengers beginning their journey at the Yulong Bridge, a 400-year-old stone bridge. As the local government has improved local roads through the Yulong River Valley, biking has also become a popular tourist activity, as there are many quaint villages along the river, some offering bed and breakfast accommodation.
The Yulong is prone to sudden flooding, which is one of the reasons why there are not more places to stay close by. Local people have built breakwaters (weirs) every kilometer or so to allow their animals to cross the river, though many have fallen into disrepair. During the dry season (November–March), it is possible for people to walk across some of these weirs; otherwise it is necessary to hire local people to ferry passengers across for about RMB 10 per person.
The Yulong River Valley is very fertile, and its low-lying terrain is excellent for rice fields. In recent years, farmers have planted more cash crops such as pomelos, tangerines and mandarin oranges, which bring in more income than rice. The valley is still agricultural, with few services or businesses outside of the small villages. The valley is accessible from the main Yangshuo highway through the village of Yi Ma, north at the Yulong Bridge and south at the Gong Nong Bridge. The river is approximately 7 kilometres south of Yangshuo town proper.

EXPLORING YANGSHUO BY SCOOTER - 20 YUAN NOTE SCENERY, LI RIVER, XINGPING VILLAGE & BEAUTIFUL VIEWS
In this video (my 83. China Au Pair Vlog) My Dutch friend Uri and I travel to Yangshuo, Guilin for a vacation during our time as Au Pairs. The footage is from June 20th 2018 so quite some time ago now but I have been busy/lazy.
We explored the city of Yangshuo by scooter, riding around the city to Xingping Village where the famous 20 Yuan note scenery is from, which is the photo of the Li river. We drove around the beautiful mountain landscapes on the scooter and ended up at Cuiping Hill for a sunset spot with an amazing view.
These videos follow my journey of being an Au Pair in Hangzhou, China, which i will be for the following 6 months. throughout these videos i hope to document my experience as an Au Pair and what i learn from living in a different country/culture for 6 months. What’s going on guys and welcome back to the channel! So the other day I was on my Instagram page looking for things to post, and noticed it’d been a while since I posted anything new in China. So, I decided to do some research and sent a message for suggestions out to you guys, and one of you sent something pretty cool back. With 5 inversions and a length of over 3,000 feet, the coaster in today’s video does in fact come from China, and began testing just a few months ago. Now, even though it isn’t open yet, good friend of mine, Candice from Roller Coaster Dream, was able to visit the park and secure a POV of it for you all today. And I have to say, it actually looks pretty cool! So of course, what is it? And where did it come from? This is the story, of Fuli Ocean Happy World’s Whale Breaking the Sky Roller Coaster! ????????
