Ein Dorf. 4133. Mit all den Türmen ???? und Obstbäumen ???? ???????? sicher nicht abschliessend, aber einen kleinen Einblick in das urbane Dorf im Baselland soll es dennoch geben.

For several years Roger has been capturing scenes of his home town and tries to show its beauty as well as its rough corners. One town. 4133. With all its towers and orchards. Certainly not final, but for now its a pretty little insight into urban town called Pratteln.

European Road trips are amazing, we started our travel from Germany to Italy via Switzerland. We covered Alp mountains.
Alps, a small segment of a discontinuous mountain chain that stretches from the Atlas Mountains of North Africa across southern Europe and Asia to beyond the Himalayas. The Alps extend north from the subtropical Mediterranean coast near Nice, France, to Lake Geneva before trending east-northeast to Vienna (at the Vienna Woods). There they touch the Danube River and meld with the adjacent plain. The Alps form part of France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, and Albania. Only Switzerland and Austria can be considered true Alpine countries, however. Some 750 miles (1,200 kilometres) long and more than 125 miles wide at their broadest point between Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, and Verona, Italy, the Alps cover more than 80,000 square miles (207,000 square kilometres). They are the most prominent of western Europe’s physiographic regions.

Alps
Ruine Landskron / Chateau du Landskron (4K, Switzerland, France)
We park the car in Mariastein, and walk from Mariastein (switzerland) over to the majestic castle ruin Landskron, which is located on french territory.
We climb up the main tower. from where we have a beautiful panoramic view of the region. Including, France, Jura Mountains, Switzerland, and Germany with Black Forrest.
After that we walk over another way back to Mariastein.
This hike is an ideal Day-trip if you are visiting Basel. You can reach the feet of the Hill with the Tramline 10 (exit in Flüh-Mariastein) and walk up to Landskron. Or you can take in Flüh the bus to Mariastein.

Минувшим вечером завершился карнавал в городе Листаль. По традиции, завершился он огненным шествием.
Городские летописи свидетельствуют, что более 200 лет назад в воскресную ночь после Пепельной среды люди жгли костры в окрестностях Листаля и местного замка. Впрочем, это лишь дошедший до нас письменный отчёт 1869 года, а традиция жечь костры перед Великим постом имеет более длинную историю. Это делалось, по крайней мере, начиная с 16 века.
Факельное шествие стали практиковать с 1902-1904 годов, когда люди впервые прошли по улицам с горящими пучками просмоленных сосновых веток, называемых Chienbäse (в алеманском наречии немецкого языка это значит сосновый веник) Зрелище Chienbäse, безусловно, незабываемо. Огонь завораживает, будоражит и притягивает.

Während unseres Vatertags-Kurzurlaubes waren wir nicht nur im Schweizer und französischen Jura, sowie in den Vogesen unterwegs, sondern auch mal in Südbaden zu einem kurzen Sonnenbad am Altrhein.
Die Isteiner Schwellen sind Stromschnellen im Oberrhein am Rheinkilometer 177 bei der südbadischen Ortschaft Istein, die zur Gemeinde Efringen-Kirchen gehören. Sie liegen parallel zu dem 1928 gebauten Rheinseitenkanal (Grand Canal d´Alsace) und wurden bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt als Wasserstraße für die Schifffahrt von Basel Richtung Norden genutzt.
