On aborde un côté un peu moins marrant de notre voyage qui a été particulièrement présent en Guinée : les faux guides.
Mais on montre bien sûr que ce n’est pas une généralité et qu’il est toujours possible de ne pas participer à ce type de tourisme.
La Guinée est un pays magnifique qu’on a pris beaucoup de plaisir à découvrir au travers de son architecture mais aussi de ses cascades et paysages.
QUI SOMMES NOUS ?
Nous sommes tous deux architectes et sans grande surprise passionnés d’architecture. Mais ce n’est pas l’unique passion qui nous lie car depuis notre rencontre, nous profitons de chaque opportunité pour découvrir de nouvelles contrées.
Pour nous, l’architecture et le voyage sont avant tout des émotions. Ce sont ces émotions que nous mettons au centre de nos récits et de nos créations.

Guinee Conakry
La Guinee, avec pour capitale Conakry, se trouve sur la côte atlantique de l’Afrique de l'Ouest.
Elle est entourée de la Guinee-Bissau (385 km de frontières) à l'ouest-nord-ouest, du Sénégal (330 km) au nord-ouest, du Mali (858 km) à l'est-nord-est, de la Côte d'Ivoire (610 km) au sud-est, du Liberia (563 km) au sud-sud-est et de la Sierra Leone (652 km) à l'ouest-sud-ouest et de l'océan Atlantique à l'ouest.
On distingue quatre zones géographiques :
une zone côtière, la Basse-Guinee, Guinee maritime ;
une zone montagneuse, la Moyenne-Guinee, qui comprend le massif du Fouta-Djalon ;
une zone de savane au nord-est, la Haute-Guinee, ou le Mandé ;
une zone de forêts au sud-est, la Guinee forestière.
Ces quatre zones, parfois appelées « régions naturelles », ne correspondent pas aux régions administratives.
Conakry est la capitale et la plus grande ville de Guinee, située sur l'océan Atlantique

Saying goodbye to places you fell in love with is the worst part of traveling. But every day offers aw well a new beginning, a new journey, a new adventure. Follow me from the grasslands of Fouta Djallon to Guineas capital Conakry and the border of Sierra Leone.
When we left Labé and the Fouta Djallon region we realized, that even finding an ATM can be quite an adventure in Guinea. After we were able to pay our petrol again we hit some small roads, met friendly locals and went on a night ride to Guinea's capital Conakry to apply for another visa.
//NOTE: videos were recorded before I had a Youtube Channel - initially used for my Instagram stories. That's the reason for the close ups of my face - they were recorded vertically. I still decided to use them - that's the authentic footage I have and I can't change that anymore. Remember: I just started out with filming and cutting - its a learning curve and far from perfect! If you mind seeing my nose hair every now and then, I can highly recommend you to skip this part of the journey and join again when I will publish my next trips after the country Benin with hopefully improved footage!
