There are lots of things to do in Bergen (Norway) in winter season.
Winter is a great time to see the world famous fjords, enjoy the many concerts and shows in the city or explore Mount Fløyen or Ulriken.
Fjord cruises:
Take a fjord cruise from Bergen to idyllic Mostraumen, through Osterfjorden, with steep mountains and beautiful waterfalls. The trip takes 3 hours and starts at Zachariasbryggen, right next to the Fish Market.
If you want to take a longer trip, Norway’s most popular roundtrip, Norway in a Nutshell, is recommended. The combination of the UNESCO-protected Nærøyfjord, The Bergen Railway and the world famous Flåm Railway makes this a unique experience. The trip takes 9 hours, and starts at Bergen Railway Station.

The most western town in Norway is rich in history and culture. Annually this town celebrates the longest Herring table in the world. I was fortunate to attend this year's festival in June 2012.
Flora is a beautiful small town with only around 20 000 people and a visit is a must.
Lots to do and see.
To get there is possible via Ferrie, Plane, Bus and car.

WE HIKED THE MOUNTAIN FROM DUNE! Norway Travel
We hiked the mountain from the Hollywood movie Dune! In today’s episode, I'm taking you to one of the most majestic places in Western Norway - Kinn Island. Located far out in the open sea it is mostly known for its unique mountain Kinnaklova. It's a 15 minute boat trip from Florø Town. I will also teach you more about Kinn’s history, and try to understand how an island that used to have a population of 15000 wound up with just three inhabitants and some sheep. There is so much more to Norway than Lofoten, and I’m so excited to show you some of the hidden treasures my part of the country has to offer. This is the second episode from my Norway Travel Series!

Florø ist eine Küstenstadt im norwegischen Fylke Vestland und die westlichste Stadt Norwegens.
Florø ist ein Küstenort auf einer Landzunge an der westnorwegischen Küste, etwa auf halber Höhe zwischen Bergen und Ålesund. Die 1860 gegründete Stadt, die gleichzeitig Verwaltungssitz der Kommune Flora ist, verdankt ihre Existenz ursprünglich dem Hering, dessen Fang, Verarbeitung und Verschiffung bis heute Teil der wirtschaftlichen Grundlage der Stadt ist. Daneben haben Schiffsbau und Erdölförderung einen wichtigen Stellenwert für die Stadt.
