تبدأ الحدود في الشمال على البحر الأبيض المتوسط غرب مرسى بن مهيدي. ثم تتقدم براً نحو الجنوب عبر سلسلة من الخطوط غير المنتظمة، وتنحرف قليلاً نحو الجنوب الشرقي.
La frontière commence au nord sur la mer Méditerranée, juste à l'ouest de Marsa Ben M'Hidi ; il se dirige ensuite par voie terrestre vers le sud via une série de lignes irrégulières, virant légèrement vers le sud-est.
Près de la ville marocaine de Figuig, il vire brusquement vers l'ouest, puis se dirige largement vers le sud-ouest par une série de lignes droites et irrégulières. En atteignant le fleuve Draa, la frontière le suit ensuite sur une certaine distance, avant de virer brusquement vers le sud, après quoi une ligne droite nord-sud continue sur 116 km (72 mi) jusqu'au tripoint du Sahara occidental.

The boundary starts in the north on the Mediterranean Sea just west of Marsa Ben M'Hidi; it then proceeds overland toward the south via a series of irregular lines, veering slightly to the southeast.
Near the Moroccan town of Figuig it veers sharply to the west, proceeding then in a broadly south-westerly direction via a series of straight and irregular lines. Upon reaching the Draa River the border then follows this for some distance, before veering sharply to the south, whereupon a straight north–south line proceeds for 116 km (72 mi) down to the Western Sahara tripoint.
تبدأ الحدود في الشمال على البحر الأبيض المتوسط غرب مرسى بن مهيدي. ثم تتقدم براً نحو الجنوب عبر سلسلة من الخطوط غير المنتظمة، وتنحرف قليلاً نحو الجنوب الشرقي.
بالقرب من مدينة فجيج المغربية، ينحرف الخط بشكل حاد نحو الغرب، ويسير بعد ذلك في اتجاه جنوبي غربي واسع عبر سلسلة من الخطوط المستقيمة وغير المنتظمة. عند الوصول إلى نهر درعة، تتبع الحدود هذا لمسافة معينة، قبل أن تنحرف بشكل حاد إلى الجنوب، حيث يمتد خط مستقيم بين الشمال والجنوب لمسافة 116 كم (72 ميل) نزولاً إلى نقطة الصحراء الغربية.

We maken een fantastische roadtrip door het Atlasgebergte in Marokko. We beginnen de trip in Tinghir en rijden door de Todrakloof naar Tamtetoucht waar we overnachten. Hier gaan we ook op bezoek bij nomaden. Na deze tussenstop rijden we door naar Agoudal om vervolgens al slingerend naar de Dadelkloof af te zakken. De roadtrip eindigt in Boumalne Dadès.
