Almeirim é uma cidade e sede de concelho, do Distrito de Santarém.
O município de Almeirim é limitado a norte pelo município de Alpiarça, a leste e nordeste pela Chamusca, a sul por Coruche e Salvaterra de Magos, a oeste pelo Cartaxo e a noroeste por Santarém.
Francisco Camilo, é o autor do mural, no inicio da rua 5 de Outubro.. A pintura representa as caçadas reais em Almeirim.

We wanted to visit a good Portuguese market since It's been a few years since we last visited one, Almeirim was the chosen one in Santarém District.
Almeirim is also home to the famous sopa da pedra (stone soup). The guarded recipe dates back generations, the soup is the reason many come to this charming town including us.

afternoon at 1:00 pm. 30 minites break for lunch.

Centro de Interpretação Templário Almourol
É o primeiro do género em Portugal. Dispõe de uma sala de exposição permanente, espaço de exposições temporárias e de uma sala de projeção de filmes sobre a temática dos templários. No mesmo edifício funciona também a Biblioteca – Arquivo Templário, que dispõe de um vasto acervo literário dedicado a este tema, fruto das doações de Teresa Furtado e de Manuel J. Gandra.
