Thirparappu Falls ????️:
April - September is a good time to visit this waterfall.
The entry time is between 7 AM to 5PM.
50 KM from Kanyakumari and 30 KM from Nagercoil.
When it floods, they'll stop people to enter the waterfall. So please plan that before visiting.
Chitharal Jain Temple ????:
50 KM from Kanyakumari it's the must-visit place.
You've to trek 1 KM and that's a very easy trek.
Very less crowded even on Sat and Sun.
Parking facilities are available and a very calm place.
Must bring your kids, and family.
Mathur Thottipalam ????:
This one is ultimate when you're interested in exploring a hidden gem.
Mathur Thottipalam is Asia's largest and tallest Thottipalam.
Thabasiya Resort ????:
This is where I stayed and it's the central place for Mathur Thottipalam, Thirparappu Falls, and Padmanathapuram Palace.
This resort's tree house lies on the Thamirabarani River. Don't miss the spectacular view.

Muttom (Muttom Beach), Kanyakumari: -
Muttom is a village in the Kanyakumari District of the Tamil Nadu, India. It is a well known its beach with some rocks and caves. The major occupation of people in Muttom is fishing. Muttom village is attracted by visitors because of its beach.[1] More than hundreds of people come to the beach every day and spending their time on the beach shore. This beach is known as the best sun set point in the district. Muttom harbor work has been under construction for last 3 years and was expected to be completed before end of 2014.
Known for is surreal beauty and peaceful ambience, Muttom Beach is one of the most wonderful beaches in Kanyakumari. The beachy shore is sprinkled with large rocks protruding from the surface. The environment is perfect for some good nature photography or to spend some moments of solitude.
Muttom is one of the fishing villages, located 16 km from the capital town Nagercoil. It is well connected by road to the Nagercoil town. It is approximately 75 km from the Trivandrum International Airport. It is reachable from Kanyakumari by road with a distance of about 34 km. The nearest villages are Esanthangu, Ammandivillai, Pillaithoppu, Azhikal, Kadiyapattanam and Manavala Kurichi. Major roads reach Muttom via Ammandivillai, Esanthangu and Nagercoil. There is a lighthouse which was constructed by British India. The lighthouse, though near the sea, is situated 110 ft (34 m) above sea level. The structure was built when India was part of the British Empire until 1947.

Eraniel Palace - Unknown beautiful Palace in Kanyakumari | Eraniel town capital of the Venad kingdom
The palace was an important place of political and commercial importance in South India, since Eraniel town was a seasonal capital of the Venad kingdom until the seventeenth century when Padmanabhapuram came into prominence. However, in the 21st century, only some modest glimpses of the old royal heritage of the historic Eraniel town can be found in the remains of the old palace (Thekkaethevan Koikkal), its ornate granite pillars, some timber beams, decaying walls that seem ready to fall anytime soon, and the already collapsed roof.
Eraniel Palace Ruins is located at about 500 meters from Eraniel Bus Stop, 2 Kms fromEraniel Railway Station, 2 Kms from Thingal Nagar, 5 Kms from Thuckalay, 8 Kms from Colachel, 7 Kms from Padmanabhapuram, 14 Kms from Nagercoil, 34 Kms from Kanyakumari, 18 Kms from Marthandam and 67 Kms from Thiruvananthapuram. All buses from Thingalnagar bus stand will pass through Eraniel. For every 5 minutes you have buses to Nagercoil & For every 15 minutes you have buses to Thuckalay. Many buses run from Nagercoil via Eraniel. All the buses stop at Eraniel, there are also buses to Chennai from Eraniel.
Eraniel railway station (comes under Trivandrum Railway Division) Ananthapuri Exp (Time: 17:15 towards Chennai) (Trivandrum to Chennai), Island Exp to Bangalore, Guruvayur to Chennai Mail, Kanya Kumari to Mumbai cst exp will stop at this station. Daily it has local trains from Nagercoil to Trivandrum also stopping at Eraniel. Nearest Airport is located at Thiruvananthapuram (67 Kms).
