Lichuan City, which belongs to Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hubei Province, is located in the southwest border of Hubei Province, west of Shu and Yu, east of Enshi, south of Xiaoxiang, north of Three Gorges, and the border of four counties and two districts in Chongqing, is the largest and most populous county-level city in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, with fertile land and rich products. Since ancient times, it has been called Lichuan because it is the river of profit and river of great profit. The city is 92 km wide from east to west. One of the most stunning and beautiful places in the world, the Wulingyuan Scenic Area in China's Hunan Province has more than 3,000 sandstone pillars and peaks, some higher than 200 meters/660 feet. Its amazing views became inspiration for the Avatar movie and it is on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
The Wulingyuan Scenic Area includess 4 parts, all covered in the video: Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve, Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve and the Yangjiajie Scenic Area.

Enshi | Cinematic Hubei
Enshi (Chinese: 恩施; pinyin: Ēnshī) is a county-level city in and the seat of Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, in western Hubei province, People's Republic of China.
The city is built alongside the Qing River and is surrounded by forest-covered mountains. The city has many hotels, restaurants and spas. Restaurants here in general cater for Chinese tastes; however there is one western style restaurant called Mac Home in the city center. The food in Enshi is spicy and includes many Hot Pot style dishes as well as smoked pork and chirzo style sausage meat, spicy fried potatoes and lamb skewers.[citation needed]
There is a beautiful Forest Park in Enshi which offers splendid scenery and views of the city as well as an amusement park. there is an out-door cafe in the park with hammocks which sells fresh ground coffee. During the summer months there is white water rafting tours available on the river.[citation needed]
The City Center has a shopping district catering for most tastes. There is a local night club located under the shelter bridge called the Soho Times.

World's Longest Sightseeing Escalator, Hubei Province, Central China
A 688-meter-long sightseeing escalator made its debut during the past week-long National Day holiday, contributing to tourists' visits at Enshi Grand Canyon in Enshi city, Central China's Hubei province.
The escalator is the world's longest sightseeing one, costing each visitor 20 yuan ($2.98), said an insider, who went on saying that visitors can enjoy the beautiful sights by taking less time and effort thanks to the escalator.
Using a steel concrete structure and a wooden structure, the escalator was built along the mountain in a ∑ shape at Qixingzhai scenic spot, a must-see at Enshi Grand Canyon.
The whole engineering plan focused on ecological protection, which can be seen from the wooden structure and grey tile at the top of the escalator, said Xiong Yan, who is in charge of the project and works at Central-South Architectural Design Institute.
Xiong said that many vine plants were planted along the escalator to integrate with the surrounding landscape.
It's reported that the escalator can carry 7,300 visitors per hour in theory and is estimated to carry 600,000 visitors altogether in one year.

On social media, a video of the floating bridge is doing the rounds and you must watch it because it is absolutely mesmerising.
This bridge in China is 500 meters long and 4.5 meters wide. It was built over a winding river and covers the length of the water body, People's Daily Online reports. Lush green forests surround the bridge as it twists and turns with the river. Altogether, it is a wonderful experience.

The Grand Enshi Canyon is the main attraction of the city of Enshi. This is the most picturesque part of the Grand Qingjiang Canyon, 108 kilometers long and with a total area of more than 300 square kilometers. The canyon is surrounded on the north by three gorges, on the south by the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, and on the east by the city of Yichang. This tourist zone impresses with a variety of landscapes.
In the valley of the Yunlong River there is a geological fracture up to 75 m deep. It is filled with fantastic rocks and a riot of colors. Age-old trees grow here, streams murmur and waterfalls subside.
This place is not included in the top most famous places in China (but it is included among the most beautiful places in the country). Going there is worth at least to enjoy the incredible views on the way from the city to the canyon.
Among the Chinese of Enshi, the canyon is quite popular, so on national holidays the narrow paths in the canyon are not overcrowded.

An Enshi Highlight: China's Spectacular Grand Canyon
Enshi is a fabulous scenic spot known for Its clean water, incredible waterfalls and peaks. Mufu Grand Canyon has a 7,500-meter-long geo-fracture with rifts, vertical precipice, caves, Underground river and Sinkholes.
It really is a must see sight in our opinion.

Visit Enshi, China: Center of the Green Tea Industry
The yearly green tea industry conference was being held in Enshi during our stay. I did not know that Enshi is the epi-center of the green tea industry or that Yulu Tea is one of China Ten Top Teas.
A brief tea tasting educated me. And I was amazed by the amount of tea leaves used to make a pot of tea!
