Today we are taking the former WestBAHN Stadler KISS train on their new missions in Germany with Deutche Bahn. So join me as we explore the intresting past of these trains and how they ended up with Deutche Bahn on a trip from Dresden Hauptbahnhof to Berlin Flughafen.

This week, I give you a tour of Wundsdorf-Walstadt. The abandoned village was once home to the Soviets, Nazis, 1936 Olympians, and Prussians. Maybe this place should try to cram in some more history? The town, 40 KM from Berlin city center, is now completely abandoned, waiting to for it's next tenant. Currently, the city is starting to convert the beautiful, old buildings into apartments for immigrants and refugees. The Forbidden City as it was once known, is massive and cannot possibly be covered in one day. The section I saw was easily accessible for 30 Euros. Feel free to message me for more info :)

Lorenzmarkt in Lorenzkirch 2021: Rundgang über das Volksfest direkt an der Elbe
Der Lorenzmarkt 2021 findet direkt auf der Elbwiese bei Lorenzkirch vom 06.08. bis 09.08.2021 statt. Das traditionsreiche, jährlich stattfindende Volksfest, bietet neben einer Händlermeile auch einen Rummel, welcher mit allerhand Fahrgeschäften ordentlich beschickt ist.
Mir hat es hier sehr gut gefallen, was auch schon an der einzigarten Lage an der Elbe liegt. Übrigens: Die Personenfähre von Strehla aus legt direkt am Festplatz an. So bietet schon die Anreise ein kleines Highlight.
