You Wouldn't Believe Hungarian Hospitality In Village Restaurants!!
Visiting restaurants in Hungary has been no disappointment to me I tell you why, the staff has been so welcoming especially in places such as villages where tourists don't go where its known to not have the best of service. How welcoming are Hungarian restaurant owners and the staff to their customers want to find out watch this video because the hospitality was on another level. In todays video I visit a restaurant in Hungary in a small random village called Nadap, in Fejér county in central Hungary, with population of 460. Lying among low Velence Hills, It is the point of departure for sightseeing tours on the countryside. From this restaurant I order a Hungarian speciality along with homemade alcohol known as Palinka. This restaurant Is a traditional Hungarian restaurant with wooden architecture inside and a nice comfortable outside area. To see how Hungarians treat people when they turn up uninvited with a camera watch this video. I have visited a lot of restaurants in Europe but what I have noticed about the Hungarians even if they do not speak English they will try and make a effort to communicate with you even if its by using Google translator.

Budapest Vlog Day 1
We spent four days exploring Budapest, visiting a few different baths, and all the top things to see. Join us today as we eat lots of great food, visit the Great Synagogue, the Central Market Hall, St. Stephen's Basilica, and a few other unique Budapest sites.
This is Day 1 of our 4-Day adventure in Budapest.

We started out Day 1 in Budapest at Dohány Street Synagogue, also known as the Great Synagogue. It's the second largest synagogue in the world and is the only synagogue in the world with a cemetery, due to unique circumstances that happened during World War II.
We also visited the Central Market Hall or Great Market Hall - three floors of food, crafts, trinkets, and Hungarian souvenirs. This place is huge and a must see for everyone buying gifts for friends and family back home.

Odorheiu Secuiesc,Hungarian: Székelyudvarhely, German: Odorhellen is the second largest city in Harghita County, Transylvania, Romania. The Hungarian name of the town Udvarhely means courtyard place.
The city has a population of 34,257. Among those for whom data are available, 95.8% are ethnic Hungarians, making it the urban settlement with the third-highest proportion of Hungarians in Romania.
A KOCKÁSFÜLŰ NYÚL - THE ICONIC CHECKERED-EARED RABBIT - MINI STATUES IN BUDAPEST
In one of the most iconic places of Budapest, Castle Hill, in Hungary, the Fluffies visited the mini statue of an iconic Hungarian animation character, the kockásfülű nyúl (checkered-eared rabbit).
“Continuing his nostalgic look into Hungarian TV history, Kolodko presented the friendly rabbit in November 2018 at the top of the Castle Hill Funicular.
Written in the 1970s by Veronika Marék and animated by Zsolt Richly, the show gained belated popularity around the world, especially in the US where it was shown on Nickelodeon after the fall of the Communist regime.
This floppy-eared bunny has a bird’s-eye view of the city, surveying the Danube through her telescope.” – Budapestflow.com
Budapest is filled with many statues around the city. There are the big traditional kinds of statues, but in the past few years, small mini ones have been popping up around the city. The sculptor is Mihály Kolodko, a guerilla sculptor of Ukrainian citizenship with Hungarian origins.
During our Hungary trip in 2021, we visited all of Kolodko’s mini statues (installed at that time) with the partnership of Budapest Flow.

Jenő Rejtő (29 March 1905 – 1 January 1943) was a Hungarian journalist, pulp fiction writer and playwright who died as a forced labourer during World War II. He was born in Budapest, Austria-Hungary, on 29 March 1905, and died in Evdakovo, Voronezh Oblast, Soviet Union (then under Axis occupation) on 1 January 1943. Despite the pulp nature of his writings, he is not only widely read in Hungary, but is also much appreciated by literary critics. It is a prevalent opinion that he lifted the genre to the level of serious art, and his works will long outlive him.
In the early years of communism his works were only available on the black market in pre-war editions.
But from the 1960s on, his novels were republished, and they gained instant popularity in Hungary.
Jenő Rejtő’s books still have a cult following, to this day.
Rejtő's memory is kept alive in Budapest in various ways: in 2001 a street was named after him, while in 2003 there was an exhibition dedicated to him in the Petőfi Museum of Literature (Petőfi Irodalmi Múzeum). In 2005 his picture appeared on a Hungarian postage stamp, part of the series Great Hungarians, and there is an initiative to erect his statue in Budapest.
The fourteen carat car is a humorous novel by Jenő Rejtő , published in 1940.
The story of the 14-Carat Roadster involves:
- a young rapscallion that wins the Nobel Prize in Physics (in a card game)
- falls in love with a beautiful French girl
- exposes a dangerous gang of spies
- enlists in the French foreign legion
- help the exiled ruler of a small African state regain his throne
- dreams of driving a car with a chassis of pure gold
The headlong course of events produces many perilous adventures told with irresistible humor.

PAIR OF DRAY HORSES - MINI STATUES in BUDAPEST | THE FLUFFIES CHANNEL
On our way to a family commitment, the Fluffies visited the 160-year-old Dreher Brewery in Kőbánya in Budapest’s District 10 in search of yet another Kolodko mini statue.
The statute entitled PAIR OF DRAY HORSES shows a pair of dray horses pulling barrels of beer over a limestone bridge.
If you visit the Dreher museum, you can see another mini statue by Kolodko of Antal Dreher Sr., who was an Austrian who revolutionized the beer-making process.
“Dreher was an Austrian who revolutionized the beer-making process with his new bottom-fermented Lagerbier, which won Gold Medals in Paris, Vienna, and even far off in Sydney. By the time of his unexpected death in 1863, he’d bought the Kőbányá Brewing Company, sowing the seeds for Hungary’s best-known beer.” – Budapest Flow
