Our day trip to Isla Taboga during our vacation to Panama City, Panama. Isla Taboga is a beautiful island with all the charm of island living with a small village vibe. The beach was great, the sun was hot, the breeze was strong, and the people were amazing. Our tour guide spoke English and Spanish, so he had to say everything twice for our sake. There are about 5,000 inhabitants, of which a large percentage are expats who have moved to Panama or own vacation homes there. Isla Taboga is a must see if you visit Panama. The video was taken with a DJI Mavic 2 Zoom and a DJI Osmo Pocket 2. Editing was done with Adobe Premiere Pro.

San Blas Islands, Panama | A Paradise on Earth

San Blas Islands in Panama are paradise on earth! San Blas Islands Panama, San Blas Islands Day Trip, San Blas Islands from Panama City

The San Blas islands are a group of islands in the archipelago de San Blas, located in the Northwest of Panama facing the Caribbean Sea. There are about 378 islands in the archipelago which are scattered around in an area of roughly 100 square miles.

The majority of the 378 islands have no inhabitants, but on the few larger ones you will find the gentle native people known as the Kuna’s. These natives can be found on islands such as Aguja Island, Guanidup Island, Chichimei, Yandup Island and El Porvenir. San Blas is an autonomous territory of Panama formally called Kuna Yala, with reference to the native inhabitants. It translates directly to “Land of the Kuna”.

The San Blas islands are viewed by many as the number #1 vacation destination in Panama and presumably in the whole of Central America. It will be definitely one of the highlights of your travel to Panama.

El Porvenir - Panama City

Travelling from the port of el porvenir to panama city on a jeep!

Panama’s Most Beautiful Islands | Day Trip to San Blas Islands (Travel Vlog)

In today's video, I will be traveling to Panama’s most beautiful islands called the San Blas islands. Roughly 4 hours away from Panama City, The San Blas Islands of Panama is an archipelago comprising approximately 365 islands and cays, of which 49 are inhabited.[1] They lie off the north coast of the Isthmus of Panama, east of the Panama Canal.[2] A part of the comarca (district) Guna Yala along the Caribbean coast of Panama is home to the Kuna people.

San Blas and its surrounding area is a haven for ecotourism because of its pristine environs. The area is also popular for sailing, as it is known for its beauty and lack of hurricanes.[3] Notable locations in the Archipelago are the main capital El Porvenir, the densely crowded island village of Carti Sugtupu, and the two keys, Cayos Limones, and Cayos Holandeses, both renowned for their clear waters.

The Guna are an Indigenous people of Panama and Colombia. Guna people live in three politically autonomous comarcas or autonomous reservations in Panama, and in a few small villages in Colombia. There are also communities of Guna people in Panama City, Colón, and other cities. Most Gunas live on small islands off the coast of the comarca of Guna Yala known as the San Blas Islands. The other two Guna comarcas in Panama are Kuna de Madugandí and Kuna de Wargandí. They are Guna-speaking people who once occupied the central region of what is now Panama and the neighboring San Blas Islands and still survive in marginal areas.

Today, we will be visiting the visiting the beautiful islands of San Blas. I will be giving you an island tour, speaking to local Guna people, and show you the beautiful waters of the Caribbean.

- Achutupu ;
-Kagantupu;
- Yandup ;
-Coco Blanco.

- il vaut mieux aller dans les îles pour se détendre de mars à mai ;
- gardez à l'esprit que la communauté Guna est habituée à vivre en clan et à s'entraider, cela doit être pris en compte lors de la communication avec les Indiens ;
- en souvenir, vous pouvez acheter des molas indiennes - des robes et des foulards cousus par des femmes autochtones ;

Isole San Blas, Panamá | Spiagge, viaggo, luoghi, natura, paesaggi | Video 4k | San Blas cosa vedere

Isole San Blas, Panama.

Come arrivare là

- Achutupu;
- Kagantupu;
- Yanup;
- Cocco Bianco.

- è meglio andare nelle isole per rilassarsi da marzo a maggio;
- tenere presente che la comunità Guna è abituata a vivere in clan e ad aiutarsi insieme, di questo bisogna tenerne conto quando si comunica con gli indiani;
- come souvenir, puoi acquistare molas indiani - abiti e sciarpe cuciti dalle donne indigene;
- non ci sono comunicazioni, Internet, computer e comodi servizi di civiltà sulle isole;
- percepire un viaggio a San Blas come un'escursione in un altro mondo e spazio dell'universo.
