Buying a house can be hard. If you are thinking about California and don't need to be in one of the major cities, this list is for you.
Nobody wants a giant mortgage but in most of California, that is what you are going to get.
If you enjoy these videos I would love to hear about it. Most of these videos are made to help people who are thinking about relocating, looking for real estate, or just wanting to learn about the United States. We look at the best and worst cities, states, towns, and neighborhoods in the United States. But, most of the time focus on the negative side of locations. If you only want some happy positive information about a city, town, or state, I would suggest looking up local mortgage and real estate companies or maybe the locations website. They are trying to sell you something so it will be nothing but sunshine, rainbows, and a bunch of smoke up your skirt. They won't tell you about crime, poverty, bail bondsmen, or insurance you'll need because of natural disasters. I will. And I will try and make it entertaining.

10 Worst towns in California. Southern Cal version
I think it is time to tackle a list I hinted at earlier this year and never got to. When I listed the worst towns in America I said I had to cut Southern California out because it had like 17 of the worst 20. When you suck that bad, you get your own list is the rule here.
A couple of things with this list. I say town but technically some are small cities. I am just cutting out the major cities like Los Angeles and San Diego proper. If I say cities in the title I will have a bunch of geography nerds jumping up my butt. I don’t like anything jumping up my butt especially geography nerds. Most of these are in the LA metro or LA county.
This is another list that has enough to make 3 videos, but we’ll start with one and see how it goes.
These are not places you want to buy real estate.

Visiting Hemet's Maze Stone - A Southern California Mystery
The Hemet Maze Stone has been determined to be at least 500 years old but it is unknown who created it and why they did so. The artwork doesn't match other known Native American art or petroglyphs from the area leading to some pretty wild speculation ranging from ancient Chinese sailors who ended up in California to aliens of course.
The Hemet Maze Stone was rediscovered in 1914 by a rancher and it along with the surrounding land was donated to the county of Riverside in the 1950s to become a park.
The Maze Stone is located just a short drive off California State Route 74. There is about a 1/4 mile hike to the stone from the parking area, 95% of the way is paved. The stone itself is surrounded by two chain link fences to protect it from vandalism (unfortunately it had been vandalized in the past).

The Wildflower Trail in Diamond Valley Lake located in the Southwestern Riverside County Multi-Species Reserve protected area is bursting color from red Indian Paintbrush flowers and yellow Tidy Tips sunflowers to deep pink, Red Maids, orange California poppies, blue arroyo lupines and purple Canterbury bells.
Hours: Wed-Sun 6:30am - 6:00pm (No entrance after 5:00pm)
Rates: $11 for parking + $4 per person trail fee

When rain and cool temperatures arrive in the Inland Empire, hiking is at its best. While the conditions are great, and there is a desire to climb a peak, Tres Cerritos fills the bill. Actually, it fills it three times over. A loop hike is easily accessible and connects all three peaks. What a great way to start out the new year!
