It offers lodging and numerous eating establishments throughout the property.

Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens

Shade gardens, woodland trails, prairie flowers, ornamental trees and shrubs, and water gardens are just some of features of the beautiful 52-acre Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. This extensive park has a number of different gardens, from a Japanese Garden to a Rose Garden and Formal English Garden. Interestingly, the Arboretum is staffed entirely by volunteers.

National Czech & Slovak Museum and Library

Significant flooding in 2008 in Cedar Rapids led the museum facility being relocated, which entailed moving the actual building to higher ground. It was moved 480 feet away from where it previously stood. Dozens of miles of unspoiled horse trails can be enjoyed at your own pace in gorgeous Iowa.

Snake Alley, Burlington
Snake Alley, Burlington – Once recognized by Ripley’s Believe It or Not for being the most crooked road in the world. Once recognized by Ripley’s Believe It or Not for being the world’s most crooked road, Snake Alley in Burlington is without a doubt one of the oddest sights to see in Iowa. With seven curves over 275 feet, Snake Alley is lit by replica Victorian lampposts in order to maintain its unique old-timey feel. The alley dates back over 100 years and was originally created as a shortcut to Burlington’s business district, but today it is best known as a strangely beautiful tourist attraction.
