Old Town (Medieval) area of Esslingen am Neckar, Germany
Esslingen am Neckar in Germany has been pretty much thriving since around since the year 800. Because it was spared from much of the bombings of WWII, the old town area remained pretty much intact. Walking through here is really a step back in time, with parts of the old city wall and tower still standing. The whole area is full of beautiful half-timbered houses that Germany is known for. The Rossneckar-canal, part of the Neckar River, runs through the city, with many homes built right over it. Not to be missed if you ever visit Germany - hope you enjoy the video snippets we filmed and are enticed to consider coming here one day. Göppingen is a town in southern Germany, part of the Stuttgart Region of Baden-Württemberg. It is the capital of the district Göppingen. Göppingen is home to the toy company Märklin, and it is the birthplace of football player Jürgen Klinsmann.
Göppingen is situated at the bottom of the Hohenstaufen mountain, in the valley of the river Fils. The districts of Göppingen are Bartenbach, Bezgenriet, Faurndau, Göppingen, Hohenstaufen, Holzheim, Jebenhausen and Maitis.
Tradition holds that the city was founded by an Alemannic leader called Geppo sometime in the 3rd or 4th century. A disastrous fire on August 25, 1782, destroyed most of the town, but it was immediately rebuilt. Industrialization during the 19th century made the area into a center of industry. The importance of such an industry is still seen in the town in the present day in companies such as Märklin and Schuler.

Neresheim Monastery / Abtei Neresheim / Kloster Neresheim / Best Church of South Germany / 4K UHD
Neresheim Monastery is one of the oldest roman catholic monasteries of South-Germany and is at the same time the youngest and the newest Baroque Churches in Europe. The church was converted from a fort on top of the Ulrichberg Mountain near the town of Neresheim in Ostalb District in Baden-Württemberg State of South Germany. Today it is a monument and world heritage site visited by tourist and pilgrims from all over the world. The video also shows a brief history of the Monastery.

Walking in ESSLINGEN / Germany ???????? - Old Town On A Rainy Afternoon - 4K 60fps (UHD)
Esslingen am Neckar is a city near Stuttgart in the state of Baden-Württemberg. As mentioned in the official name, the city is located on the Neckar River.
We are visiting Esslingen on a rainy day (October 2020) and start our tour right near the train station. The ES mall gets a quick visit on our way to the city center.
We walk on the Bahnhofsstraße as the main shopping street to the Schelztor. The Schelztor is an old tower from the 13th century. One of the last three surviving towers of the former city wall.
In the norther part of the city we head towards the Frauenkirche and then get back towards the center via the St. Dionys church.
There are several nice half-timbered houses in Esslingen which see along our route through the old town. It is a bit rainy now yet we see several sights like the Postmichelbrunnen, Hafenmarkt and the Old Town Hall built around 1420.
In the end we head towards the train station again to end our tour of Esslingen.

Zwischen Winnenden, Berglen und Remshalden befindet sich die Buocher Höhe.
Rund um den kleinen Ort Buoch bieten sich zahlreiche Freizeitmöglichkeiten.
Wir starten unseren kleinen Ausflug oberhalb von Grunbach an einem der
zahlreichen Aussichtspunkte.
Wer sich schon ganz früh morgens auf den Weg macht, der hat Ihn fast für sich alleine.
Den Blick über große Teile des Remstals.
Nachdem wir die fantastischen Aussichten genossen haben, machen wir uns auf
Richtung Freizeitgelände Buocher Höhe
Hier ist der ideale Startpunkt um das über 500 Meter hoch gelegene Areal zu erkunden.
Hier auf der weitläufigen Anlage muss es niemandem langweilig werden.
Egal ob Freesbee, Basketball oder Yoga, Platz ist genug vorhanden.
Der große Spielplatz und die zahlreichen Grillstellen runden das Angebot ab.
Wer schon im Herbst an seiner Sommerfigur arbeiten will, der ist im Muskelgarten
bestens aufgehoben
In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich noch Tennisplätze, eine Reitanlage und
zahlreiche Einkehrmöglichkeiten.
Besonders für Kinder ist der kleine Abstecher zum Tiergehege dringend zu empfehlen.
1954 wurde der 22 Meter hohe Wasser- und Aussichtsturm erbaut.
Von hier oben bieten sich einem atemberaubende Ausblicke

Speziell bei guten Wetter und an den Wochenenden herrscht hier reger Betrieb.
