Although Royal Park in the inner north of Melbourne is a huge expanse of green space today, it has been used for many different things in the past - especially by the military. Camp Pell, or 'Camp Hell' was it was later known, was the best-known of these during and after the Second World War, and served other uses too.

The Speed Camera Locations site provides information on the locations of Red light camera and Speed camera locations across Victoria. The information provided includes the number of fines, value of fines, location of speed cameras/red light cameras and links to the location on Google maps, links to the Street View on Google maps and also dashcam videos showing the stretch of road.
As a result of recording the speed cameras on Eastlink, I also had a recording of the entire length of Eastlink in both directions. Whilst this is not required for Speed Camera Locations, I felt perhaps others may find the video interesting or useful, so I decided to upload the Northbound and Southbound videos for the entire length of Eastlink.

Even though I looked for the camera, had a mobile phone taking a video aimed at the roof of the tunnel and a second dashcam, I was still not able to see or capture an image of the actual speed camera. For those looking for the speed camera there are red signs and the camera is reportedly near R19. There are also vertical numbering on the concrete wall and the camera would be between D09 and D10. Although one article did mention the camera could be moved. Whether that's correct or not I'm not sure.
The video was taken to enable those who wish to review the location, such as when they've received a fine and would like to find out more about the location.

Eastlink Grand Opening Melbourne 10 June 2008
EastLink is a tolled section of the M3 freeway linking a large area through the eastern and south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.
EastLink is electronically tolled with no cash booths, using a system developed by SICE. The SICE Tolling System is similar to (and interoperable with) the e-TAG system used on the CityLink tollway. EastLink was opened to traffic on Sunday 29 June 2008 and in conjunction with the opening, a month-long toll-free period occurred before regular tolling commenced on 27 July 2008.[2]
The project was constructed by a joint venture of Australian construction companies Thiess Contractors and John Holland,[3] with tolling system contracted to SICE, and mechanical and electrical work contracted to United Group Infrastructure.[4] The final project cost was A$2.5 billion.
Signs are at the entrances and on the tollway direct to Ringwood, Dandenong, Frankston and Doncaster.
These photos were taken a few weeks before the opening, as it was opened to the community to walk and cycle along it.

This was part of my eastern suburbs' exploration. It was a sunny day in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne so I went to check out a number of suburbs including Mitcham. It is 20 km east of Melbourne CBD. Population as of 2016 census was 16,148. It is part of the City of Whitehorse. Surrounding suburbs are Forest Hill, Vermont, Nunawading, Donvale and Ringwood.
