Dongtai City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, is located in the middle of the coast of Jiangsu Province and the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, between 120°07′ and 120°53′ East longitude and 32°33′ and 32°57′ North latitude, with a total area of 3,175.67 square kilometers. Dongtai city has a subtropical monsoonal maritime climate. As of 2019, Dongtai City has 14 towns and another 6 township-level units under its jurisdiction, with the municipal government located in Dongtai Town. According to the data of the seventh census, as of November 1, 2020, Dongtai has a resident population of 888,410.
Dongtai was known as Yan in ancient times, also known as Xixi and Dongting, etc. In 1987, the State Council approved the abolition of Dongtai as a county and the establishment of a city (at the county level). Dongtai has two railway stations, Dongtai Station (passenger and freight) and Fu'an Station (freight), and has been famous for producing salt since ancient times. Most of the people in Dongtai belong to the Jiangzhe people. Dongtai is a national garden city and an excellent tourist city in China, and since 2019, it has been awarded the titles of 2019 National Top 100 Counties and Cities for Comprehensive Strength and 2019 National Top 100 Counties and Cities for Green Development [3]. Dongtai City has a long history, with scenic spots such as Guoguo Zen Temple, Midas Temple, Yellow Sea Forest Park, and Dong Yong Seven Fairy Cultural Park. Among them, the legend of Dong Yong is listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.

Walking (with an occasional inexpensive taxi) is the only way to really see the city. Head down a street...it's safe...and if you get lost, hail a cab. Visit Dongtai Lu for fake antiques and fun collectibles and everyone makes their way to the famous Bund, sooner or later. Shanghai is a vibrant, happening (along with extremely noisy) city and a favorite of mine.

Qinghai is a large, sparsely populated Chinese province spread across the high-altitude Tibetan Plateau. It's a place of strong Tibetan and Mongol cultural traditions. Amne Machin, a 6,282m-high peak that's part of the Kunlun Mountains, is a holy site for Buddhist pilgrims. Qinghai's important Buddhist monasteries include Wutong, whose monks are renowned producers of thangka, religious paintings on cotton or silk.

10 days, 3,500 km, starting from the south of Xining-Qinghai Lake, passing Taer Temple, Chaka Salt Lake, Dachaidan Emerald Lake, Dongtai Jinel Lake, Aiken Spring, Mogao Grottoes, Mingsha Mountain Crescent Spring, Jiayuguan, Zhangye , Qilian Mountain grassland, Zhuoer Mountain, and finally back to the north shore of Qinghai Lake.

Yancheng, a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, is one of the 27 cities in the central region of the Yangtze River Delta. [It is located in the eastern coast of China, in the middle of Jiangsu Province, bordering the Yellow Sea to the east, Nantong to the south, Yangzhou and Taizhou to the southwest, Huai'an to the northwest, and Lianyungang to the north across the irrigation river. Yancheng has a total land area of 16,931 square kilometers, including 4,553 square kilometers of coastal mudflats. Yancheng has the only World Natural Heritage Site in Jiangsu, which is the habitat of migratory birds in the Yellow (Bohai) Sea of China. According to the seventh national census, Yancheng has a resident population of 67,096,629 as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020. In 2021, Yancheng City achieves a regional GDP of RMB 661.739 billion.
Yancheng has convenient transportation by land, sea and air, and has basically formed a three-dimensional transportation network with five points: highway, railroad, air, sea and inland river shipping.
