San Marino is a mountainous microstate surrounded by north-central Italy. Among the world’s oldest republics, it retains much of its historic architecture. On the slopes of Monte Titano sits the capital, also called San Marino, known for its medieval walled old town and narrow cobblestone streets. The Three Towers, castlelike citadels dating to the 11th century, sit atop Titano’s neighboring peaks.

Dritte Etappe von Tag 3 unserer Ostertour
Mit vollen Tanks steuerten wir Thiene LIDH an. Für Asiago war es leider schon zu spät. Asiago LIDA schließt um 19 Uhr. Außerdem sah das Wetter dort nicht gut aus. Nach mehreren Telefonate kamen wir im Hotel Ariane unter. Direkt daneben ist das Ristorante Pizzeria Ai Cappuccini, wo wir eine besonders gute Pizza aßen. Unser 3,5 km langer Fußmarsch (es war schwierig, ein Taxi zu bekommen) hatte sich also gelohnt. Für den nächsten Morgen sagte uns das Hotel aber einen kostenlosen Shuttle zum Flugplatz zu.

Una delle repubbliche più antiche al mondo, San Marino ha conservato gran parte della sua antica architettura. L'omonima capitale sorge sui pendii del monte Titano ed è conosciuta per il centro storico medievale circondato da mura e per le viuzze acciottolate. Sui tre picchi del monte sorgono le tre torri, fortezze risalenti all'XI secolo.

Trekking a San Marino: la Repubblica più piccola al mondo come non l'avete mai vista!
La Repubblica di San Marino è un gioiello incastonato nel territorio Italiano. Nonostante non ne sia parte, legalmente parlando, è geograficamente collocata tra Emilia-Romagna e Marche. Una distanza perfetta per una gita fuori porta o un week end diverso dal solito!
Questa facilità nel poterla visitare, ha fatto sì che venisse vista solo superficialmente, e che molti dei suoi segreti e dei suoi più curiosi aneddoti rimanessero nascosti.
Noi abbiamo avuto la fortuna di scoprirne moltissimi, di camminarci in mezzo, sopra e di fianco e terminare il pomeriggio di sali e scendi sorseggiando una, anzi, cinque birre fresche e artigianali.
