Esta navegación fue realizada durante la época de carnaval en Uruguay. Acompañamos a las postulantes a Reinas del Carnaval, desde Dársena Higueritas, hasta el Balneario Brisas del Uruguay.
Visitamos la ciudad de Dolores (Soriano) haciendo turismo en la Península artificial Timoteo Ramospé y luego en el centro de la ciudad donde vimos la Iglesia Nuestra Señora de los Dolores y frente a ella la esquina, lamentablemente famosa, por el tornado de abril de 2016.
También tuvimos tiempo para homenajear al Muelle Gral. Flores en sus 150 años (ícono de Nueva Palmira), extractando algunos fragmentos del libro de Jorge Frogoni Laclau.
Y por último, realizamos un reconocimiento, a través de Puerto de Escribidores, a nuestro amigo Miguel Claudio Del Giudice. En fin, un poco para todos los gustos.

Rocha, the capital city of the Rocha Department in the Southeast of Uruguay is a small town with around 70,000 inhabitants. It borders Maldonado Department to its west, Lavalleja Department to its northwest, Treinta y Tres Department to its north, while to its northeast Laguna Merín forms part of its border with Brazil and at the south end of the lake it also borders the southernmost end of Brazil, with the city of Chuy shared between both countries, the border passing through its main commercial avenue.
Rocha has natural beauties like Cabo Polonio, Valizas, Santa Teresa National Park. It is well known for its beach resorts, like Punta del Diablo or La Esmeralda, which swell with visitors during the summer holidays. Inland, the primary economy of Rocha is based on large cattle ranches.
