Meine Stadt heißt Dobrich. Sie befindet sich im Nord-Osten Bulgarien und liegt 30 Kilometer weit vom Schwarzen Meer. Die Stadt liegt in einer breiten Ebene. Sie heißt die Goldene Dobrudzha, weil hier die größten Weizenfelder sind und im Sommer die ganze Ebene wie golden aussieht. Jedes zweite Brot wird hier gebacken. Deshalb ist diese Gegend auch die „Getreidekammer von Bulgarien genannt.
Dobrich hat zirka 80 000 Einwohner und gilt für Bulgarien als mittelgroße Stadt. Sie ist eine schöne und ruhige Stadt, mit wenig Verkehr und vielen Grünflächen.
Eine der Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt ist die Alte Stadt, die sich in der Nähe vom neuen Zentrum befindet. Dort kann man viele verschiene traditionelle Handwerker sehen wie z.B. Töpfer, Bäcker, Goldschmied, Gerber, Schneider, Weber, Uhrmacher usw... Man kann direkt von ihnen handgearbeitete Waren kaufen oder sie arbeiten beobachten. Dort werden auch die am leckersten Teigwaren (Maaazna Banitsa + Bosa + Gewrek), die für Bulgarien traditionell sind. In der Alten Stadt sind viele der ehemaligen Gebäude bewahrt wie das Uhrturm, Gasthäuser, Kneipen usw. Man kann sie besuchen und sich in die Atmosphäre der Alten Stadt versetzen. In Dobrich muss man auch den Stadtpark besuchen. Er ist sehr groß, sehr gut erhalten, ziemlich schön und mit kleinem Teich in der Mitte. Dort gehen die Jugendlichen spazieren, manche joggen oder trainieren mit den geilen Sportgeräten und Sportanlagen. Das Zentrum besteht aus einer großen Einkaufstraße mit vielen Verwaltungsgebäuden, die zu einem großen Platz mit Restaurants, Hotels u.a. führt.
In der Stadt gibt es viele Denkmäler. Das berühmteste von denen ist das riesige Denkmal von Khan Asparuch, wer den Staat Bulgarien in dieser fruchtbaren Gegend gegründet hat.
Eine andere Sehenswürdigkeit ist das große Fernsehturm. Man kann es bemerken weit bevor man die Stadt erreicht.
Die Lage der Stadt ist sehr günstig, weil sie nicht weit von der Meerküste liegt. Sehr wichtige Kurorte wie Balchik mit dem Botanikgarten, Albena und Golden Sände mit wunderschönen Stränden und Hotels, Kaliakra mit den berühmten Felsen usw befinden sich sehr nah. Auch Warna -- Die Meereshauptstadt -- liegt nur auf 50 Kilometer entfernt.
Die nordene Schwarzmeerküste ist Anziehungsort für tausende von Touristen jedes Jahr, weil es sehr gute Bedingunen mit den Hotels, der Infrastruktur, den Unterhaltungen und den Vergnügungen gibt. Deshalb ist es wert Dobrich zu besuchen.

Walking tour at Zoo center Dobrich Bulgaria.
Zoo Centre Dobrich, also known as the Nature and Animal Conservation Centre, is the first licensed zoo in Bulgaria. It is located in Dobrich, Bulgaria. It houses over 350 animals from 70 species.The Centre was under a Bulgarian-Swiss project in 2003. It has a land area of 16 hectares, 50-year-old vegetation consisted of 35 tree species. The zoo is open from 9:00 to 19:00 (from April to September) and from 10:00 to 16:00 (October to March). The zoo is closed on Mondays.
There are 40 different species of animals living in the zoo, including roe deer, red deer, red-necked wallabies, raccoons, llamas, alpacas, mouflon, european bison, Przewalski's horse, and two brown bears named Berna and Kostadin.
There are also many species of birds, including eurasian eagle-owls, golden pheasants, peacocks, mute swans, rosy pelicans, white stork, and many fowl species.
The zoo has several ponds, which house red-eared slider turtles.
