Legoland Deutschland Resort - a theme park in Günzburg, Germany, roughly half way from Munich to Stuttgart, which opened in 2002. It is 43.5 hectares in area, and it is one of the 4 most popular theme parks in Germany.

NEW in 2018: 5:48 - Lego Star Wars
Legoland Deutschland was opened on May 17, 2002 in Günzburg, Germany. The park opened nine months earlier than planned by Merlin Entertainments Group. On opening year, the park welcomed 1.35 Million visitors. All of the lighting for the park was done by Gallegos Lighting Design which had done the lighting for Legoland California Resort and the sound and video production for the park was done by Edward Technologies Inc. The park features Lego explore centers, roller coasters, water attractions and shows. When it opened in 2002, it contained 40 attractions, 7 themed lands and was made out of 50 million Lego bricks. 10 years later, the park expanded to eight “adventure worlds” with 50 attractions and 55 million Lego bricks. Legoland Deutschland is home to the world's largest Lego building, representing Munich's Allianz Arena and weighing 1.5 tons with dimensions of 5 meters in width and 1 meter in height. Legoland Deutschland also contains many other world records such as the largest Lego flower bed (2007), largest amount of energy generated through cycling underwater (2010), highest Lego tower (2010), largest Lego mosaic (2011), longest Lego millipede (2002), and the largest Lego brick (2005).

Legoland Germany Rides and Review from our Family of 5!
The following video will highlight our fun-filled day at Legoland Germany. We give some of the top rides a whirl and share some feedback with you all about our day.
The rides that our kids were looking forward to the most was of course Ninjago Land and Rides, as well as the new Virtual Reality Roller Coaster ride.
We were also keen to check out Legoland Germany Star Wars mini-land as well.
Overall we really loved the family-focus that this theme park has. Baby changing rooms were available everywhere. Strollers were available to rent. There is a little baby shop where you can buy baby food and supplies if you run out.
They are also really great with adding in toddler-friendly play areas next to the popular 'big kids' rides as well. Which made my life a lot easier as I waited for the older kids to have some fun.

Das Legoland Günzburg ist ein super Ausflugstipp für Familien. Der Film zeigt euch einige der vielen Attraktionen im Legoland Deutschland.
Wir besuchten den Freizeitpark Legoland Deutschland in Günzburg im August (in den Sommerferien) es war leider sehr viel los so dass wir sehr lange Wartezeiten mitbringen mussten. Wer also etwas von seinem Eintrittspreis haben möchte der meidet lieber die Ferien- oder Feiertage. Wir mussten teilweise eine dreiviertel Stunde bis Stunde an den Attraktionen anstehen.

Memmingen is a city in the west of Bavaria, 100 km from Munich. It is believed that in ancient times there was a Roman military garrison on the site of the present city, since the 5th century there was a settlement of Germanic tribes on this site. The city of Memmingen itself was founded in 1158. Its location at the crossroads of trade routes made it an important center of trade. In the 16th century, Memmingen supported the Reformation, the peasants in the city formulated the Twelve Articles - the first known declaration of human rights in history. The city was the scene of the Thirty Years' War - it was in it that Wallenstein was removed from business. Now Memmingen is interesting for tourists with its well-preserved historical center.
Günzburg walking tour
Heute machen wir einen Spaziergang durch die Stadt Günzburg. Die Stadt Günzburg mit seinen knapp 20.000 Einwohnern bietet wesentlich mehr als nur das Legoland. Die fast vollständig erhaltene Altstadt ist umfassend saniert. In der Innenstadt läd der Marktplatz mit seiner bunten Häuserfassaden uns durch seine Restaurants und Cafes zum verweilen ein.
Wir starten unsere Tour an der Frauenkirche und laufen über den Frauenplatz. Vom Frauenplatz biegen wir ab ins Frauengäßchen und laufen bis zum Marktplatz. Am Marktplatz gehen wir hinunter bis zum Kuhturm wo unser heutiger Spaziergang endet.

Bei unserem Besuch in der Altstadt von Memmingen sind wir vom Ulmer Tor über den Marktplatz durch die angrenzenden Straßen und die Bachgasse spaziert. Eine tolle Stadt mit vielen eindrucksvollen Sehenswürdigkeiten!

STREET VIEW: Bad Buchau in Oberschwaben in GERMANY
An Fronleichnam konnten wir kostenlos bei der REWE in Bad Buchau parken. Von dort aus ist man in zwei Minuten in der Fußgängerzone. Wir starten an der Ecke Hauptstrasse und Freihofgasse mit unserem Rundgang. Von dort aus gehen wir über den Marktplatz bis auf den Schloßplatz vor der Schloßklinik. Anschließend drehen wir eine Runde über die Seegasse, Badgasse und Schlossergasse zurück auf den Marktplatz. Die Tour endet dann wieder am Ausgangspunkt.

Wir waren im Legoland im schwäbischen Günzburg und haben uns für Euch umgesehen. Dieser Film gibt einen kleinen Überblick über die zahlreichen Attraktionen und Fahrgeschäfte in diesem recht großen Freizeitpark.
Wir haben für Euch die unterschiedlichen Fahrgeschäften wie Dschungel X-Pedition (Wildwasserbahn), Project-X Teststrecke und Feuerdrache (beides Achterbahnen), den Legoland Express und dem Flying Ninjago ausprobiert. Auch vor extremen Strapazen wie dem Bionicle Power Builder haben wir uns nicht gescheut ;-).
Der Themenpark ist wirklich groß, so dass der Film keinen Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit erhebt. Seid Euch bewusst, es ist ein Freizeitpark von Lego – an jeder Ecke lauern Shops mit Versuchungen für Legofans. Essen und Trinken im Park ist, wie in Freizeitparks leider üblich, relativ teuer. Also packt Euch ein Picknick ein. Wer schlau ist und die Wartezeiten an den Kassen vermeiden möchte, kauft seine Tickets vorab auf der Website des Legolands.
