About Maa Khodiyar's Galdhara Temple :
Khodiyar Mataji's temple located in the foothills of Gandhi Gir is about 1600 years old and ancient temple . Which is also the center of faith of the devotees. Maa Khodiyar's Galdhara temple is 5 km from Dhari. Far away on the banks of the river Shetrunji. Devotees of Khodiyar Mataji are also present in the country and abroad. Where the deep water of Shetrunji river flows. There is a living idol of Khodiyar's mother sitting under a rye tree among the cliffs.
GALDHARA KHODIYAR MATAJI TEMPLE
This mythical temple was built in AD. Is said to have occurred during the 9th to 11th centuries. The Shetrunji river, the largest river in Amreli district, rises from the Chanchai hill of Gir and flows near Dhari village. The dam was built in 1967 on the Shetrunji river in the area. Which is also known as Khodiyar Dam in Saurashtra. The dam provides water for farming to the farmers of the surrounding areas.
Khodiyar temple is located on the upper surface. It can be said that heaven is truly hidden below. But the falls of this dam are very delightful. If we talk about the history of the temple, there is a legend about the temple that demons used to live here years ago. The Asuras were very tormented. Khodiyar Mataji fought to destroy the Asuras.
But the demons had the blessing that if a drop of blood fell on the demon, many demons would arise from it. Khodiyar's mother and her sisters killed the demons themselves. Then Mataji herself became unclean, splashes of Asura's blood flew on Mataji. According to folklore, it can be said that Mataji's head is sitting here. In this place called the land of saints of Saurashtra, many saints and mahants have seen Mataji here in the form of a child.

Ambardi safari park is situated at khodiyar dam road, at ta dhari dist amreli of Gujarat state. The ambardi safari is also equivalent to gir devaliya safari park. In ambardi safari of mainly lion safari at present have 5 lions. The ambardi safari park remains closed on Tuesday. And the ticket price of ambardi safari in normal days is rs 150/- per person and on weekends & during festivals ticket price escalated to rs 190/- per person. The total time of lion safari is 40 min and surety to see lion very near is very high. So you must visit ambardi safari of gujarat. The timing is 9.00 am to 11am tn 3 pm to 5 pm.
