Brimbank Shopping Centre is in Deer Park so that's a positive. Main streets include Ballarat and Station Roads.

It was interesting to walk around Deer Park, considering this area had been on the news about youth crime. Despite that, I felt safe when I went for a walk in the area. It was a nice day for a walk. Probably best to walk along the main streets or roads if you are not familiar with the area. However, I wouldn't be walking around here at night time.
Brimbank Shopping Centre is in Deer Park so that's a positive. Main streets include Ballarat and Station Roads.
There is a Deer Park Train Station but it is for Vline or regional trains as opposed to Metro trains. That's a consideration that you need to think about if you plant to move in the area. I also saw bus stops here so that's another transportation option for you.
I haven't seen any new apartment or townhouse buildings or on-going construction so most houses here are established.

Während meiner aktiven Zeit spielte ich drei mal in Sydney. Letztes Jahr habe ich mich sehr über die Einladung zum Legends Event gefreut, 2016 bin ich nun zum zweiten Mal dort.
Das Apia International Sydney 2016 findet vom 10. bis 16. Januar im Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre statt, in der Woche vor den Australian Open in Melbourne. Es ist neben dem Hopman Cup in Perth, Brisbane International, Hobart International und der World Tennis Challenge in Adelaide Teil der Australian Open Series.
Mein schwedischer Kumpel Mats Wilander, die Aussie Helden Pat Cash und Mark Philippoussis sowie die wundervollen Martina Navratilova und Arantxa Sanchez Vicario treten dieses Jahr mit mir im Rahmen des Legends Event bei den Apia International in Sydney an.
Ich kann mich sogar dunkel erinnern, das Sydney Turnier schon mal gewonnen zu haben ... :-)
Sydney is one of the oldest tournaments on the Tour and has a fantastic history.
I played there three times over my career and I was very happy to be invited back to play in the Legends event last year and this year again.
Apia International Sydney 2016 will take place at Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre from 10 to 16 January 2016 just the week before the Australian Open in Melbourne.
The Apia International Sydney is part of the Australian Open Series which also includes the Hopman Cup (Perth), Brisbane International, Hobart International and the World Tennis Challenge (Adelaide).
