Eisenhower State Park sits on 423.1 acres in Grayson County, northwest of Denison on the shores of Lake Texoma. It was acquired in 1954 by a Department of Army lease and was opened to the public in 1958.
We loved the uniqueness of this park & wanted to share our experience of the park with you! This park has a little bit of everything including a private beach cove, boating, fishing, hiking, caves, camping & so much more!

Today we visit Denison Texas. The historic downtown main street is full of very cool shops, eateries, brew pubs. Founded in 1800's Denison is also the birth home to our 34th President of The United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower.
From there we will head 5 miles north to Lake Texoma. This is the largest reservoirs in the United States. Winds cooperated and we fly our drone on the Oklahoma side of the lake near the Denison Dam.
