Beranče from ZP Demir Hisar at Dom Armija (1946-2016) 70th anniv. of ..
Beranče by a group of men from Demir Hisar region performing at the Dom Armija in Skopje. This was the finals of the 2016 competition among various senior groups folk dance groups from all over Macedonia. Compare this with the video of a group of young men from s. Slepče, Demir Hisar doing their version of Beranče at the 1st Ilindenski Denovi Festival in Bitola on 8/1/72. similar. On the other hand, I am also posting a performanceof Beranče by a group of retired men from s.Lakočerej, just north of Ohrid. Their version is quite different.

Since the city is right on Lake Ohrid, everywhere you go you’ll have breathtaking views of the water and all the surrounding natural beauty.
