Tulsishyam is located on the border of amreli district and gir somnath district, in the gir National park in Gujarat state of India. The forest gate timing is morning 6 am to evening 8 PM, beyond time gate remains closed for tourist. Tulsi shyam temple is reachable by road 45 km from dhari in amreli and 35 km from una in gir somnath distrct.
Tulsishyam anti gravity hill or anti gravity hill, gupti is an optical illusion of a gravity hill where vehicle seems to defy the gravity and roll from down slope to up the slope.
There is an ancient temple of Lord vishnu- Lord shyam. Legend says that Lord Krishna eliminated the demon called tul and so the place associated with his name along with that of krishna as shyam and is this called Tulsishyam. It is made up of black stone. There is a hot sulphur spring near the temple that is believed to have curative powers.

Today we are going to visit a Miraculous Place called Tulsi Shyam situated in Gir Forest.

Tulsi Shyam is Situated in the center of Gir Wildlife Sanctuary to reach here you can start your Journey from Amreli which is 83 Km away, you can also drive your car here or use a private taxi or even State Transport Buses.

To reach here you need to stop at Timbarwa Check Post for a Permit which is free of cost you just need to provide your ID & Vehicle details along with nos. of passengers. After 7:00 pm gate closes and opens at 7:00 in Morning, at

Once you cross the Check post you are now in a forest area & you should keep your eyes open because if you are lucky you can spot Asiatic Lion here, but unfortunately we couldn't find any but we saw Peacocks & white spotted Deers from very close, further we also saw some Langoors (Monkeys) also and more Deers too.

After the short drive, we reached Tulsi Shyam, Tulsi Shyam Temple is a tourist center that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Situated in the Una sub-district of the Junagadh District, the temple is found in the center of Gir and lies about 30 km from Una Town. Known peculiarly for its great scenic beauty, the temple has beautiful hot water springs which are referred to as ‘Taptodak’ in the Puranas. Legend says that Lord Shri Krishna killed the demon named Tul and hence the place is associated with his name along with the name of Krishna as Shyama and is hence called the Tulsi Shyam Temple. In front of this temple, one small hill is there, on top of it a temple of Devi Rukmani Devi is Situated, you can reach there by climbing around 100 steps.

Is Diu a part of Gujarat?

Daman is an enclave on the state of Gujarat's southern coast, situated 100 miles (160 km) north of Mumbai (Bombay). Diu encompasses an island off the southern coast of Gujarat's Kathiawar Peninsula, 40 miles (64 km) southeast of Veraval, as well as a small area on the mainland.

Why is Diu famous?

Diu is mainly known for its white sand beaches. Most famous of the beaches is Nagoa beach. Other beaches are Ghogla, Jallandhar, Chakratirth, and Gomtimata. Old Diu is known for its Portuguese architecture.

Is alcohol allowed in Diu?

Alcohol is legal in Diu, unlike in neighbouring Gujarat, so a lot of people come to Diu especially for drinking. Indian and foreign beer and spirits are widely available. Be aware that most of the vehicles leaving Diu are being checked right after the bridge to avoid illegal alcohol smuggling into Gujarat.

Tulsishyam is located on the border of Amreli district and Junagadh district, in the Gir forest national park in Gujarat. It is 45 km from Dhari (Dist-Amreli) and 35 km from Una (Dist-Junagadh). Vanakbara, a fascinating fishing village in Diu #ghoomophirosisters

At the extreme west of the Diu island, there lies a fascinating little fishing village called Vanakbara. And yes it is one of the highlights of Diu.
It’s great to wander around this village, packed with colorful fishing boats, some all set to sail while some are getting repaired. he village is bustling with activity & best time is to go early morning 7am to 8am when the fishing fleet returns and sells off its catch.

द्रोणेश्वर महादेव मंदिर गिर गढाडा से 5 किलोमीटर उन्ना से 17 km और तो कड़वा से तकरीबन 3 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर मसुंदरी नदी के किनारे स्थित है। द्रोणेश्वर महादेव मंदिर अति प्राचीन एवं पौराणिक स्थान है। महाभारत काल दौरान जब पांडवों को वनवास मिला था और वे गुप्त वास में थे तब गुरु द्रोण पांडवों को ढूंढते हुए यहां पर आ पहुंचे थे गुरु द्रोण नित्य नियम मुझे सुबह शिवलिंग पर जल अभिषेक करके अपनी आराधना करते थे।
लेकिन उस समय गुरु द्रोण को यहां पर कोई पानी का स्रोत ना दिखा इसीलिए गुरु द्रोण नहीं एक् शीला पर तीर मार के स्वयंभू गंगा प्रगट की थी तब से लेकर आज तक निरंतर शिवजी पर जल अभिषेक होता है जिसके तकरीबन 5800 साल से अधिक समय बीत गया है।
