We weren't exactly sure what Macedonian food was before we travelled to #Skopje. But after spending a week in the beautiful capital of North #Macedonia, we can officially say that Macedonian food is delicious! It's very similar to other Balkan cuisines, but with a bit more spice from its distinct Turkish influence!

On the northeastern shore of Ohrid Lake, in the southwest of Macedonia, is the city of Ohrid. One of the top tourist spots in Macedonia is Ohrid and Lake Ohrid. On the northeastern shore of the Ohrid Lake, in the southwest of Macedonia, is where you'll find this city. It is connected to routes that travel to Skopje, Bitola, Debar, and the Republic of Albania in terms of traffic. Its proximity to the ancient Via Egnatia, which connected the Adriatic and
the White Sea, was a crucial factor in the historical growth of Ohrid. The Ohrid Airport, which is close to the city, is where flights to several locations outside the Republic of Macedonia pass. The amount of traffic on the Ohrid Lake's waters is insignificant. It is utilized for both tourist and fishing reasons. The lack of rail traffic is the only drawback.
