You must’ve visited numerous Lord Ganesha Temples in India and abroad. But did you know that Shree Siddhivinayak Devsthan is one of the biggest temples in structure?
Located 30 km from Ahmedabad, 15 km from Nadiad, 50 km from Baroda, and 54 km from Gandhinagar, Shree Siddhivinayak Devsthan is located in Mahemdavad and is easily accessible by road and train. The total height of this temple is 71 feet, its length is 120 feet and its width is 84 feet. The outer structure of the mandir is shaped like the face of Ganpati using ferro casting and Australian technology.
Along with a Ganpati Temple, there is also a Shivling made with 1 lakh 21 thousand rudrakshas and a mandir of Katyayni Shree Arbuda Ma.
The temple has modern amenities like stay option for devotees, a parking lot, battery-operated rickshaws and a lift for the physically challenged and elderly, along with a huge garden where you can enjoy a peaceful afternoon with your family and friends.

Mahudi is situated near Vijapur in Gujarat State of India. Mahudi is famous for Shri Ghantakarna Mahavir temple. Mahudi is very old Jain tirth. It is one of the important miraculous tirth place as per Jain Religion. Learned Saint Pujya Acharya ShrI Budhdhi Sagarji Maharaj Saheb did PranPratistha of Shri Ghantakarna Dev in Mahudi. Out of the 52 Vir, Shri Ghantakarna is one of them. Thousands of Jains and non Jains visit Shri Ghantakarna Mahavir temple in Mahudi everyday.
This derasar, considered to be one of the most sacred Jain pilgrimages, is situated in Mahudi, Mehsana District, and spreads over an area of 2 square kilometers. In ancient times, the place was known as Madhumati. The idols and artistic remains recovered from the ground show that the history of this place is nearly 2000 years old, based on the inscriptions in Brahmi script. Acharyadev Buddhi Sagarsurisvarji was inspired in a dream to install the idol of Ghantakarna Mahavir Dev in 1923 A.D. This idol is considered to have miraculous powers. Thousands of Jain devotees, as well as devotees from other backgrounds, come to receive blessings from this idol.
How to get there
By road: Gujarat has one of the better developed road networks in India. Ahmedabad is well connected with all major cities and towns by road. Prominent bus stops are located at Gitamandir near Kalupur Railway Station and Paldi. Regular bus services are available by Gujarat state transport buses and private operators to all the major destinations of the state.

Mahudi Jain Temple was established by Jain monk, Buddhisagar Suri[1] in 1917 CE ( Magshar Sudi 6, Vikram Samvat 1974). There is an inscription in the Brahmi script of it. The foundation stone was laid in 1916 CE on land donated by Vadilal Kalidas Vora. He along with Punamchand Lallubhai Shah, Kankkuchand Narsidas Mehta and Himmatlal Hakamchand Mehta became trustees of trust established to manage the temple. The 22-inch marble idol of Padmaprabh as a central deity was installed. The separate shrine dedicated to protector deity, Ghantakarna Mahavir was also established. Guru Mandir, a shrine dedicated to Buddhisagar Suri was established later.
Devotees offer sukhadi, a sweet to Ghantakarna Mahavir. After offering, it is consumed by devotees within the temple complex.
Every year, on Kali Chaudas (the fourteenth day of the dark half of the month of Aso), thousands of devotees visit the temple to attend a religious ceremony, Havan

Siddhivinayak Temple Mahemdavad
Siddhivinayak temple of lord Ganesha which is situated at Mahemdavad city of Gujarat. The temple lies just 35-40 km from Ahmedabad on the banks of Vatrak Mahemdavad. This temple is one of the biggest temples in structure and with an in-built lift facility. The premises was set up in 2011 by Narendra Bhai Purohit. Temple is constructed in a big area 600,000 square feet and achieving this temple is 120 feet in length and 71 feet in height and 80 feet in width and the 56-foot height from the ground to be an idol in the temple.

After monsoon, between September and December, the forest becomes lush. There are more than 450 species of medicinal plants, around 275 of birds, 30 of mammals, and 32 of reptiles. There are bears, leopards, hyenas, water fowl, raptors, passerines, and flying squirrels. During winter, The forest attracts migratory birds during winter and wetland birds during monsoon.[2]
The forest also has the endangered Grey Hornbill and Brown-headed Barbet.
There was a town established by the Parihar kings of Idar around the Harnav river probably in the 10th century. It was conquered by the Rathores of Marwar in 15th century and came under Idar State. The town was located between two high hills, Kalaliyo and Mamrehchi, which blocks sunlight for the most days which probably resulted in the abandonment of the town.[1]
The name Polo is derived from pol which literally means a gate in Marwari language.[

Shree Siddhivinayak Devasthan is located on the Mahemdabad–Ahmedabad highway, around 2 km from Mahemdavad, on the bank of the River Vatrak, and is dedicated to Lord Shree Ganesha. The temple's construction started in the year 2011 on a 22-acre campus and was completed in one year under the supervision of Narendrabhai Purohit, a famous businessman in Ahmedabad. The temple is shaped like Lord Ganesha, it is 83 feet high and 120 feet wide. From the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, the holy flame of the Mehamdabad Ganpati Mandir was ritualistically brought.
A replica of Lord Shree Ganesha's idol from various temples around the world is also installed here.
There are numerous facilities available for devotees and tourists, including Hurble Park, Bhojanalaya, a lift, Amusement Park, a garden, a cafeteria, and accommodation. As a result, Siddhivinayak Mandir Mehmdabad has become a popular one-day picnic spot near Ahmedabad for devotees and tourists to spend quality time with family and friends.
Mehmadabad Ganesh Temple Darshan hours are from 6 AM to 10 PM on normal days, and from 5 AM to 11 PM on special days such as Sankat Chaturthi, as thousands of devotees visit here to worship Lord Shree Ganesha.
Lift and wheelchair facility is also available here for visitors.

This Sri Siddhivianayak devasthan is one of its kinds in complete of the India as it is the biggest temple in structure and with an inbuilt lift facility.
With the blessing and prayers of great saints the Bhumi Poojan was conducted on the eve of Samwanth 2067 Fagun Sudh 4 dated 09-03-2011 Wednesday in presence of the Purohit pariwar. The temple is expected to be raised with a huge investment of approx Rs.14 crore.
Lord Ganesha is the chief deity of this powerful Pooja. He is considered the ‘God of Luck’ and he blesses his devotees with smooth success in all their endeavors! Shri Ganesha is remembered by all his devotees at every moment of their lives. Ganesha is the remover of all obstacles in your life. Shri Ganesha is the symbol of auspiciousness, a miraculous combination of an elephant and a human, with four hands to bless his devotees but Siddhivinayak (A form of Lord Ganesha has a prime importance).
Influenced by the immense devotion of his mother Daibaji to Lord Ganesha ,Mr. Narendra Bhai Purohit, CEO and Managing Director of Purohit Construction, took an initiative to come up with a splendid devasthan for Lord Ganesha near Ahmedbad city.
After a prolonged effort and with under the guidance of Mahatmas and saints it was visualized that the temple should be located near a river and easily accessible to the devotees of Lord Ganesha. Based on this the search was initiated and then the best location was located at the bank of river Vatrak near Ahmedbad- Mehemdabad State Highway. The land of 22 Bigha was acquired by Narendra Bhai for this noble cause and very soon with the blessing of Late Daibaji the work was initiated.
The idol of Lord Ganesha was decided to be of 83 ft, which had a reason behind it. The visionary for this temple Late Daibaji passed off at the age of 83 with this vision.

Lord Ganesha Devasthan located on the banks of a river “Vatrak” in Mahemdabad. In entrance of Temple, there is small PrasadGhar where you can take Prasad for Lord Ganesha. Temple is look like statue of Lord Ganesh in BIG area with beautiful garden. Main Statue on 3-4 floor of building, so there is also lift facility.
There us small exhibition where you get all information about other temple of Ganesha in different countries. Food Court is near temple where you get varieties of food.
There is also Amusement Park for children which have different kinds of rides but disappoint with its working condition. No maintenance of this all rides of Amusement Park.
Parking facility is available. Place distance is 20-25 km from Ahmedabad city. Vehicle are easily available for this place.
