Each section can carry 150 passengers, each can be grouped into 4 to 8 sections, and can carry up to 1,200 people each time, and the departure time can be as short as every 2.5 minutes One time, and the noise is only about 50 decibels. Due to the passenger flow, the train was later changed to the production of China CNR Group, with a six-car marshalling one draw, and it was officially launched on November 19, 2012.
Train Chuanlou Liziba Station
Liziba Station is the first straddle monorail elevated station co-existing with commercial and residential buildings in China. It was completed in March 2004 and covers an area of 3,100 square meters and a building area of 6,000 square meters. The station is located on the 6th-7th floors of the commercial and residential building, No. 39, Liziba Zhengjie, by the Jialing River. It has become a well-known “net celebrity station” at home and abroad because of its “sky train passing through the building”.
The station and the commercial and residential buildings are designed, constructed, and put into use simultaneously. The structure of station and bridge separation is adopted. The railway station bridge and the structural support system of the commercial and residential buildings are installed separately, which effectively solves the problems of structural force transmission and vibration between the two. At the same time, monorail trains use low-noise, low-vibration inflatable rubber tires and air springs to support the car body, which minimizes the impact of vibration and noise caused by trains, so that the station and commercial and residential buildings can coexist in harmony and successfully realize urban land. Intensive use of resources.

Mudong is located in the east of Chongqing and on the south bank of the Yangtze River. It is a town in Ba'nan area of Chongqing Municipality.

Every year in the sowing and harvest seasons, people can constantly hear one and another loud, sonorous, clear, melodious, and sweet folk song if they stand on the vast farmland of Mudong Town in Ba'nan (ba is an alias of Chongqing, banan means the south of Chongqing).

Mudong folk songs are the songs sung by people in Mudong Town of Banan area in Chongqing. They could date back to Bayu (also refers to Chongqing) songs and dances in ancient times, simple and crude folk songs in Warring States Period, Bazi praise songs in the Han Dynasty and Zhuzhi in the Tang Dynasty. They didn't develop into today's Mudong folk songs until the Dynasties of Ming and Qing.

Mudong folk songs have a long history. They permeate all parts of laborer's life and work. There are songs about crops or farmers, called Helai, funny songs about reversion of normal phenomena in daily life, called Shen song, songs sung in antiphonal style, called Pan song, inspiring songs used for unifying the actions in work, songs for folk customs and religious rituals, as well as various ditties and songs sung in dragon lantern game, lion dance, bamboo-stick dance, color boat game and dragon boat game.

In the past, Mudong people not only sang these songs in production, life and folk activities, but also held traditional singing parties, such as the parties about Haoyang (a kind of work in paddy fields), about marriage, about funeral, about celebration of spring, about threshing, about pickled tuber mustard, about crabs, about fishing, about grazing, about children, and so on.

Mudong people focus on Mudong folk songs with great passion and pass them down generation by generation. The songs have already become an indispensable part in these people’s life. Presently, numerous farmers in Qiuling, a town located by the Yangtze River, could sing the folk songs. The farmers who can sing over 10 songs can be found everywhere. Over ten farmer singers could sing more than 100 of these songs. Therefore, Mudong Town is entitled Home to Folk Songs by Chongqing Municipality.

“China’s World-Award-Winner Cliff Trail Park”
Chongqing, a megacity in southwestern China built on numerous mountains and hills, is facing a severe challenge when designing and implementing the infrastructure project. Under the condition of the Yangtze River and the Jialing River separates the city into parts, and the height difference between hillsides, which are unlikely to be constructed in the traditional way of engineering, architects are constantly contributing their talent to create a more sustainable living environment and diverse area for citizens here.
In Dadukou, a district known as a heavy industrial area, a trail park was built on the cliff, offering a whole new concept of connecting the old and new in the urban renewal construction. The cliff trail park was designed by the Environment Business Department of T.Y.LIN International ltd, a Chongqing-based global engineering firm. This project stood out from competitors of more than 30 countries/regions worldwide and won the gold award in the international environmental art category of DRIVEN x DESIGN Paris Design Awards 2022.
On April 13, Eiko @iChongqing will start her live stream show on the cliff trail park, invite the core designer and the manager of the Landscape section of T.Y.LIN international ltd, and talk about how this park was created as a linkage of high-quality resources for commerce, tourism, residences, and parks. Stay tuned and share your insights into ecological construction and city redevelopment with us!

Chinese Bridge - Sichuan Baisha Yangtze River Bridge Aerial View

The Baishatuo Yangtze River Railway Bridge is a truss bridge across the Yangtze River between the Jiangjin District and the Dadukou District of Chongqing, China.

The bridge carries two tracks of the Chongqing-Guiyang Railway. Completed in 1960, the bridge was the first bridge over the Yangtze River in Chongqing and only the second bridge along the main stretch of the river between Yibin and the river mouth in Shanghai.[citation needed] Only the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, completed in 1957, pre-dates the Baishatuo Railway Bridge. There are now over 50 bridges which cross the river downstream of the Baishatuo Railway Bridge.
