The Lakshmi Vilas Palace features both Indian and European architectural styles.

1. Laxmi Vilas Palace :
The term Maharaja Palace actually refers to a series of palaces in Vadodara, Gujarat, India, constructed since the Gaekwad, a prominent Maratha family, started ruling the Baroda State. The first one was a building known as the Sarkar Wada.
2. EME Temple :
The EME Temple or Dakshinamurty Temple is a Shiva Temple run by Indian Army Authorities in the city of Vadodara in the state of Gujarat, western India. It is a unique in concept & design, geodesic structure covered with aluminium sheets.
3. Sursagar Lake :
Sur Sagar lake also known as the Chand Talao is a lake situated in middle of the city of Vadodara in the State of Gujarat in India. The lake was rebuilt with stone masonry in the 18th Century. The water in this lake remains in it for the whole year.
4. Champaner and Pavgadh :
Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located in Panchmahal district in Gujarat, India. It is located around the historical city of Champaner, a city which was built by Sultan Mahmud Begada of Gujarat.
5. Sayaji Baug :
Sayaji Baug is a garden located in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. Also known as Kamati Baug, it was built by Maharaja Sayaji Rao Gaekwad of Baroda.

Dabhoi :
It was established in the early 6th century AD. It's foundation and fortification is ascribed to the great King of Gujarat, Siddhraj Jaisinh (1093 - 1143 AD.) who made this his frontier fortress.
The fort of Dabhoi is one of the rare surviving examples of Hindu military architecture, based on the Shastri traditions described in various vaastu scriptures.
There are four gates in the town, one in each cardinal direction, having indirect entry, located in the middle of each side of the fort wall.
Hira Bhagol (gate) in the east, Vadodari Gate in the west, Champaner Gate in the north and Nandod Gate in the south.
Vadodari Gate :
The western gate, it is known as the Vadodari Bhagol (Gate) as the way out of it lead to Vadodara (Baroda).
Like the other gates, this is also decorated with figures related to Hindu mythology. There are cornices on the back as well as the front.
Balaji Temple :
Dabhoi also has many Hindu and Jain temples; devoted to different gods and goddesses.
This temple is one of them and dedicated to Lord Balaji.
Hira Bhagol (Gate) :
The eastern gate, Hira Bhagol was named after its architect - Hiradhar.
It is said that Hiradhar was punished by the King, as he stole stones to assigned for the fort and built a lake called Ten Talav in the memory of his wife / lover called Ten.
Some people say that he was buried alive in the fort wall of the town.
Both faces of the gate are full of sculptural representations of Hindu deities.
On the inner side of the gate, is a famous inscription composed by Rajkavi Someshwar Dev.

Dabhoi is an oldest town near Vadodara, Dabhoi was originally known as Darbhavati.
Dabhoi Fort was built in the 11th~13th century by great king Siddhraj Jaisinh and later complete by Vaishal Dev Vaghela.
There are four main gates built here in Dabhoi surrounded by fort. These four gates are
Hira Bhagol: The eastern gate which has Kalika Mata temple at right side. These gate is full of carving of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu.
Nandoli Bhagol: southern gate, third one is
Vadodara Bhagol: western gate which leads way to Vadodara city.
Mahudi Bhagol or Champaneri Gate – northern gate which leads way to Champaner.

Dabhoi Fort - GUJARAT
The fort of Dabhoi is one of the rare surviving examples of Hindu military architecture, based on the shastri traditions described in various Vaastu scriptures. The famous battle of Dabhoi was fought on 1 April 1731 between Sarsenapati Trimbakrao Dabhade and Bajirao Peshwa. There are four gates in the town, one in each cardinal direction, having indirect entry, located in the middle of each side of the fort wall. It was altered during the time of Visaldev and the Muslim rule. Hira Bhagol , which was made by HIRADHAR for memory of his wife TEN, the most exquisitely carved gate, is in the east, with Vadodara Gate in the west, Champaner Gate in the north and Nandod Gate in the south.
