Bantayan Island is located in Northern Tip of Cebu Province. To get here from Manila (or other point of origin), do the following:
1. Book a flight to Cebu
2. Ride a taxi outside Mactan Airport heading to North Bus Terminal (Fare: 215*)
3. Ride the Bus going to Hagnaya Port (Note: If lucky, there are buses that goes directly to Sta. Fe Port) (Fare: 290*)
4. In Hagnaya Port, ride a ferry going to Sta. Fe (Fare: 300*)
5. From Sta. Fe Port, ride a tricycle to your hotel

House of the Holy Family of Nazareth
The House of the Holy Family of Nazareth is a religious site located within 1.4 hectares of land in the mountainous part of Sitio Nazareth, Barangay Paypay,Daanbantayan, Cebu
The House was opened in 2020 under the supervision of Rev. Fr. Onie Rosaroso, Priest-in-charge, Commission on Family and Life, Archdiocese of Cebu--Far North.
The place has the Stations of the Cross, a cave chapel, a radio station, and the 200 steps of the ladder that must be climbed to reach the highest part where the Holy Cross stands.
It accommodates religious groups, devotees, pilgrims, via crucis, spiritual retreats and even those who want to go sightseeing but he warned that it is forbidden to wear sleeveless and shorts

Great place to relax with family and friends -
About two hours drive from Cebu city -- well depending on the traffic along the towns you'll be passing through, Kandaya Resort has nice white sand beach with a very nice pool With ocean view rooms, great open space for any activity -- beach volleyball, also a basketball court and tennis court if not mistaken. You can rent out rooms or private villas with your own pool. Plenty of water activities as well, mostly are for rent for a fee but you can borrow a kayak or a paddle board. A must visit place if you have a weekend to spare in Cebu.

Cebu Island with Cebu City is my base for traveling the Philippines. My plan is to explore Cebu Island over several days checking out the backroads along the sea and beaches as much as possible. Today's trip starts at Virgin Island Resort in Daanbantayan and ends on the west side of Cebu in Asturias. White sand beaches, resorts, and towns along the way offer many opportunities to experience Philippine culture, beaches, and sites.
I am traveling on a Rusi 250 Classic motorcycle and expect the trip to last about 5 days.

This is a vlog on where to stay in Daanbantayan in Northern Cebu. I compare Kandaya Resort Cebu to Golden Sands Destination Resort both top luxury resorts in Cebu Philippines. Which resort should you stay? I look at the pros and cons of each resort. Kandaya is a 5 star resort with probably some of the best beach villas in Cebu Philippines. Golden Sands Resort has one of the most beautiful beach fronts in the Philippines.
I look at the room rates of both resorts via Tripadvisor, Agoda and their own Facebook pages.
Kandaya has one beautiful swimming pool while Golden Sands has 2 swimming pools. I check out all the facilities that each resort offers.

LONGEST BEACHLINE - Medellin to Daanbantayan 15KMS or more | Motorcycling to the Tip of Cebu Island
I made visits to Medellin and Daanbantayan several times but that was before when I was still not into vlogging. Now, I wanted to share the beauty of these towns to all of you- my subscribers. These towns are all cream white-sand beaches. As far as I know, from Mahawak Medellin upto Paypay, Daanbantayan or even beyond are all white sand beaches. If I would measure it on google maps, it would be approximately 12-18 kilometers of beachline and most of it are just right beside the road from Mahawak, Medellin to Daanbantayan.
In this video, I will ride Siloy, my motorcycle from my residence in Mandaue City to Bakhawan and Paypay Daanbantayan. But before reaching that part of this roadtrip, I will make a quick tour around Medellin's Poblacion area before hitting the beaches in Mahawak, Medellin.
Medellin is the Sugarcane Capital of Cebu. In fact, many of us have already experience riding or driving along the Aisle of Medellin. A 7.5-kilometer highway in the middle of sugarcane fields in Medellin. There is also an old train displayed at the Town's Plaza bearing the seal of BOMEDCO- a sugar milling company in Medellin. Now that is a solid testament that the town has a long history of sugarcane planting, milling and sugar production.
This video will also showcase Medellin's People's Park as it is one of the main and favorite hangout tambayan of many people especially during weekends. Epic drone shots in the video Igsoon.
From the town's poblacion, we will head to Medellin Seaport in Kawit before we make a quick pass along Mahawak, Medellin where we see most of the resorts in the town. After, we hit the road again and drive straight towards Bakhawan and Paypay Daanbantayan. There are tons of resorts along Mahawak-Kawit-Bakhawan-Paypay Road which I will flash some in the video.
This video hopes to promote local tourism and encourage city people to travel and visit these places. Maybe, I will be able to convince some of you to spend a day or two in any of the resorts operating in these areas. Just do your google or facebook researches. Hahaha!
Although, I did not reach the town center of Daanbantayan but I was happy that at least I reached Barangays Bakhawan and Paypay of the town. Anyways, I will surely feature Daanbantayan on a separate video soon!
