????????In this video we're heading to Cholula, YES it's the BIGGEST pyramid in the world (in terms of overall size, not height), located close to Puebla in Central Mexico, which itself is just 2 hours on the bus from Mexico City.
If you're looking for places to visit in Mexico or even as a (slightly long) day trip from CDMX, Cholula provides a great opportunity to not only visit this awesome sight but also learn more about Mexican history, Puebla itself, Popcatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes and more.
On the top of the pyramid (which isn't fully excavated, it looks like a large hill) is a church built by the Spanish in the 1600s. Inside you can marvel at the beautiful interior, chandelier and listen to traditional Mexican music, as well as have an amazing view!
You can also visit the museum and archaeological zone....it's a must do while you're in Mexico!

En Cholula hay Talavera, el arte indígena y modernidad. En Cholula se respiran profundos aires prehispánicos. La ciudad fue levantada sobre los cimientos de una gran urbe indígena.
La Cholula prehispánica fue una gran metrópolis habitada durante miles de años. Pensó Hernán Cortés, al ver la cantidad de teocalis imaginó que se podría orar en un templo distinto cada día del año. Sobre esos santuarios indígenas se construyeron templos; y hoy Cholula tiene 37 iglesias, algo sorprendente para una ciudad de su tamaño.

Cholula, Mexico: They killed everyone
Today I travel to Cholula, Puebla, Mexico. This suburb of the city of Puebla is famous for its nightlife, and the giant, Great Aztec Pyramid that the city is built around.
I made my way from Puebla city by local bus, explored, climbed the ruins, interacted with locals, ate Mexican food, and eventually made my way back to the city proper.

Puebla, oficialmente Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza, é uma cidade e município do México, capital do estado de Puebla. Tem cerca de 2.1 milhões de habitantes (área metropolitana). Foi fundada em 1531 pelos espanhóis.
Puebla também é conhecida pelo nome Cuetlaxcōāpan, em nahuatl, um idioma autóctone ainda praticado em certas regiões do país, e em alguns casos por comunidades de imigrantes mexicanos nos Estados Unidos.
Nesta cidade foi realizada em 1979 uma histórica conferência em que foi afirmada pela Igreja Católica sua opção preferencial pelos pobres, afirmação que deu origem a diversos movimentos religiosos ligados à Teologia da Libertação.
Ao norte da cidade localiza-se perto do vulcão inativo Malintzín a uma altitude de 2.125 m acima do nível do mar as e perto de vulcões Popocatépetl e Iztaccihuatl, nomeado como o eixo transversal vulcânico. De acordo com último censo realizado em 2005, Puebla é a quarta maior cidade do México, depois da Cidade de México, Guadalajara e Monterrey; e a quarta maior área metropolitana do México com una população de 2,6 milhões de pessoas.
