If you live in a city and busy place where wild places are hard to find, Idaho is a welcome vacation destination. The state’s 4.7 million acres of designated wilderness offer so much for all those that love hiking. Also, Idaho is home to all manner of wild things from the tiny Mountain Chickadee to the mighty Grizzly bear. During spring and fall migration season the state also welcomes an impressive array of visiting birds some numbering in the thousands, such as the tundra swan, snow geese, and sandhill crane.
If you love waterfalls and valleys, there are lots to see here! Some people argue that these are better than Niagara Falls. Sometimes called the Niagara of the West, Shoshone Falls is 212 feet in height, 45 feet higher than Niagara Falls, and flows over a rim nearly one thousand feet in width.
Dazzling celestial wonders are regular sights in the clear, dark night skies above Idaho. A wealth of wild spaces and low light pollution create ideal conditions for viewing constellations, planets, meteors, the Moon. You may even see a shooting star!

I grew up on The Oregon Coast north of Cannon Beach and south of Astoria in one of the best beach towsn of Seaside, Oregon, and its easily one of my favorite places in the whole world and is home to some of the most dramatic and beautiful coasts on earth from the giant sand dunes to the offshore rock stacks - it has it all. Since I grew up in Seaside and Cannon Beach (northern), I figured I would make this travel guide for exploring the Oregon Coast is very special to me. The Oregon Coast is part of the 7 wonders of Oregon, and even though I am biased, I think it's the best one ;) I've driven every mile of HWY 101 from California to Washington and I wish that I had explored more of every beach, rock stack hike along the Whole coastline, but I will travel Oregon for the rest of my life. There are many places to visit along the Oregon Coast, but so much conflicting information. This travel guide in 4K is an overview of my top 10 Places & Cities to visit along the whole Oregon Coast.

In today’s video I’m taking a look at the most beautiful towns in Colorado and the prettiest places to visit. The vast Rocky Mountains draw in visitors looking for a laidback vacation with amazing culture and attractions.
Enjoy a jam-packed day in one of the national parks or ski at one of the largest resorts in the country. Whatever you choose you won’t be disappointed as each of these towns offers stunning views and one-of-a-kind scenery.
Some of the towns on this list are lesser known and include some hidden gems. As a local, I go off the tourist path to find some unique and scenic towns to visit and with little tourist crowds.
From skiing and snowboarding in the winter to hiking, and camping in the summer, outdoor activities are a way of life in Colorado. The Centennial State is an ideal travel destination and one of the best places to visit for outdoor pursuits in every season.
