About us
We fell in love with each other at an RV show and as a result we fell in love with campers too. For years we have been going to RV shows and picking out our favorites and dreaming of the day we would be able to have one of our own. Then in the summer of 2017 after a series of major mishaps (Our car being totaled, pay cuts and layoffs and a trip to the ER) we purchased our first camper, a Jayco Qwest for less than 5000. Then we began the process of downsizing. Now we are traveling and exploring the RV Lifestyle.
Even though we are not full time travelers like

and we haven't been doing this as long as @Long Long Honeymoon
we still have a lot of adventures to share.

First we stopped for some tea at Townshend’s Eugene Teahouse. They have 100 different types of tea, as well as kombucha. They have a large menu with green, black, chai and other kinds of tea! We walked along the Willamette river, stopping at many parks including the Skinner Butte Park and the Owen Rose Garden. These parks are all connected by a path along the Willamette River. We went to the Cascades Raptor Center which is a wildlife center with raptors, a group of birds, including hawks, eagles, falcons, owls etc. This is a wildlife hospital and refuge for these injured birds from the Oregon area. We also went to the 5th Street Public Market which a cool thing to do in Eugene, it has many shops, restaurants, cafes in Eugene.

On todays Itwinerary we are walking the west side of downtown Eugene. Starting at Olive&Broadway we make our way down Broadway and Willamette and check out the local eateries and shops in this area of town!

The Creswell Masonic Temple - Shreveport, Louisiana
This video showcases the historic Creswell Masonic Temple in Shreveport, Louisiana. The building was designed by local architect Ted Flaxman and built in 1937. The Masonic Temple and the related organizations that meet in the building have been an integral part of the fabric of Shreveport since the mid-1860's.
Caddo Lodge No. 179, F. & A.M., chartered in 1867, resides at the Creswell Masonic Temple. They hold their Stated Meetings on the 1st Thursday of each month at 6:30pm.
Joppa Lodge No. 362, F. & A.M., chartered in 1915, also resides at the Creswell Masonic Temple. They hold their Stated Meetings on the 1st & 3rd Friday of each month at 7pm. Joppa Lodge's website:

Hap Arnold Lodge No. 457, F. & A.M., named after General and Brother H. H. Hap Arnold, merged with Caddo Lodge No. 179 in 2019. Journey to the West （向西之旅） [Creswell, OR to Tumwater, WA] (Day 06)
This is a live stream of a 5000 mile journey from Chicago to the West Coast and back.
Our trip will begin from Chicago traveling west on I-80 to California then taking I-5 up to Washington before coming back to Chicago. During this trip we will be traveling through a total of 16 states in the Midwest and west coast. States that we will be traveling through include Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin before arriving at our beginning state of Illinois.
Our goal with the live stream is to bring a visually road trip to anyone that can’t travel due to COVID19. In the meantime, we are bringing the beautiful Midwest and West Coast of the United States to the world.

Eugene Oregon | Covered Bridges and Beach Trip
We returned to the PNW and spent the month of October in Eugene, Oregon exploring the many covered bridges in the area. We didn't even know Oregon had covered bridges! From Eugene, we also made a day trip to the Oregon Coast beaches, seeing the tide pools at Strawberry Hill, Cape Perpetua, Heceta Head Lighthouse, and Florence sand dunes. We saw some waterfalls in the area on the Sweet Creek Trail in the Siuslaw National Forest, from the Homestead Trailhead. We also did our first take-out food tour! We visited a local Eugene favorite, Tacovore, as well as the Creswell Bakery for some delicious breakfast items, grab some burgers from Killer Burger, and try both Covered Bridge Brewing and Oakshire Brewing beers. After a month the weather started to turn cold and rainy and even though there was no lack of things to do, it was time to head south.

Waycross is the county seat of, and only incorporated city in, Ware County in the U.S. state of Georgia. The population was 14,725 at the 2010 Census and dropped to 13,942 in the 2020 census.
Waycross includes two historic districts (Downtown Waycross Historic District and Waycross Historic District) and several other properties that are on the National Register of Historic Places, including the U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, Lott Cemetery, the First African Baptist Church and Parsonage, and the Obediah Barber Homestead (which is seven miles south of the city).
