I grew up on The Oregon Coast north of Cannon Beach and south of Astoria in one of the best beach towsn of Seaside, Oregon, and its easily one of my favorite places in the whole world and is home to some of the most dramatic and beautiful coasts on earth from the giant sand dunes to the offshore rock stacks - it has it all. Since I grew up in Seaside and Cannon Beach (northern), I figured I would make this travel guide for exploring the Oregon Coast is very special to me. The Oregon Coast is part of the 7 wonders of Oregon, and even though I am biased, I think it's the best one ;) I've driven every mile of HWY 101 from California to Washington and I wish that I had explored more of every beach, rock stack hike along the Whole coastline, but I will travel Oregon for the rest of my life. There are many places to visit along the Oregon Coast, but so much conflicting information. This travel guide in 4K is an overview of my top 10 Places & Cities to visit along the whole Oregon Coast.

Hi All and welcome to another adventure with us. We are back in our home State of Oregon and this time we are exploring the Southern Oregon Coast specifically Coos Bay and Brandon areas of the Oregon Coast.
GATEWAY TO OREGON'S ADVENTURE COAST
The largest deep-draft port between San Francisco and the Puget Sound in Washington State, Coos Bay, along with neighboring North Bend, anchors the Southern Coast as a highly active harbor and thriving city. Coos Bay is artistic and deeply shaped by the people who call it home. The historic bayside Marshfield District is home to a multitude of historic buildings, theaters, shops, restaurants, galleries, and parks.
Yet from the city of Coos Bay it's just a short trip to the untamed expanses of the Southern Oregon Coastal Wilderness. Adventures in the Oregon Dunes, long stretches of sandy beach, and forested hikes are all nearby. Close access to rivers, lakes, Coos Bay, and the Pacific Ocean makes water sport and exploration easy.
