I spent my weekend exploring the beautiful city of Grugliasco. Although the weather over there was little bit unfriendly on Saturday afternoon as it was windy, otherwise I had a great moment!! The city is absolutely beautiful and has some amazing things to explore such as the *CIVIC MEDIEVAL TOWER OF GRUGLIASCO*. The streets are cleaned and the landscape is quite amazing! You can easily have a beautiful view of mountains from the northern side of the city.
While i was walking in the streets of Grugliasco, i found an area named after Martin Luther King. It got me really flabbergasted as it was my first time to ever see a street or an area bearing such a name in Italy. There must be some interesting reasons behind it. Kindly share with me in the comment section if you have any idea about it.

But if we're in a city outside of the UK anyway, it seems silly not to check them out, so in this video we find the Best Thing From Turin. We visited the palaces of Piazza Castello, rode the panoramic lift to the top of Mole Antonelliana, toured the Egyptian museum, searched for Mole Cola by the River Po, headed to the Allianz Stadium to watch a Juventus match and sampled local delicacies including Agnolotti pasta, pizza, bagna cauda, Aperol Spritz, ice cream and tiramisu. Bombette are prepared with selected slices of pork capocollo (coppa); the slices of meat are placed on a cutting board and usually stuffed with Apulian canestrato cheese, salt and pepper, then rolled up and closed manually until creating a real bundle, sometimes parsley is added. The rolls thus obtained can be cooked on the grill or even in the oven
In Italian Bombette can be literally translated to bombs.
The name refers to the rounded shape and small size of these rolls, as well as to their filling which creates a real explosion of flavour.

La metropolitana di Torino è una metropolitana leggera, la prima installata in Italia a essere caratterizzata dalla guida automatica con mezzi VAL 208.
Il percorso della linea 1 è lungo 13,2 km con 21 stazioni e il tempo totale di percorrenza è di 25 minuti.
In città la metropolitana si snoda lungo il rettilineo di corso Francia per continuare in piazza XVIII Dicembre, corso Vittorio Emanuele II e via Nizza, toccando la stazione Porta Nuova e Porta Susa Interrata, terminando di fronte allo storico stabilimento del Lingotto.
Sono in corso di realizzazione due prolungamenti, uno a sud, con due stazioni fino a piazza Bengasi, all'estremo confine di Torino con Moncalieri, e uno a ovest, con quattro stazioni, verso Collegno.
Il sistema utilizzato per la metropolitana di Torino è il VAL208, unico al mondo in configurazione 52 metri, ottenuti con l'accoppiamento di 2 veicoli bidirezionali da 26 metri, ciascuno composto dall'unione di due vetture da 13 metri e con una capacità di 440 posti tra quelli a sedere e quelli in piedi (più alta dello standard previsto per la metropolitana leggera). Il numero 208 all'interno della sigla del convoglio ne identifica la larghezza in 2,08 m. Ogni vettura è dotata di tre porte su entrambi i lati e offre un'ampia modularità di posti a sedere: può trasportare 31 passeggeri seduti e 49 in piedi con gli strapuntini aperti, oppure 19 seduti e 61 in piedi con gli strapuntini chiusi.
Il convoglio è dotato di ruote gommate che scorrono su guide d'acciaio: questo consente una maggiore aderenza e sicurezza in caso di frenate di emergenza, oltre a permettere al treno di superare maggiori pendenze rispetto alle normali metropolitane con ruote in ferro. I convogli viaggiano su binari con scartamento di 1435 mm, alimentati da linea elettrica a 0.75 kV in corrente continua.
