One of the most popular beaches in Galveston is Babe's Beach, located in town by by 61st Street by the world famous Seawall Boulevard.
Another popular Galveston beach is East Beach, located on the East end of Galveston island. This beach offers a lot including a huge pavilion and beach chair rental.
Stewart Beach, closer to Galveston's downtown, has been voted as one of the most family-friendly beaches, not only in Galveston, but in the nation!

If you want a little more convenience, bathroom access, or by the active Galveston night life, beaches in town or closer to Galveston's city would be your pick.
