The Future CBD, Leisure, Entertainment, and Gaming Hub of the North!
The Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone (CFEZ), often shortened to Clark, refers to an area in Central Luzon, Philippines.
The CFEZ in Pampanga covers portions of the cities of Angeles and Mabalacat and portions of the town of Porac while parts of the area in Tarlac include portions of the towns of Capas and Bamban, Tarlac.
The CFEZ divided into two areas, the Clark Freeport Zone (CFZ) and the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ). The New Clark City is part of the Clark Special Economic Zone. The CFZ covers the area of the former United States Air Force facility, Clark Air Base. Most of this air base was converted to the Clark International Airport and some remained under the control of the Philippine Air Force. Clark Global City is also part of the Clark Freeport Zone.
Clark forms the hub for business, industry, aviation, education, and tourism in the Philippines as well as a leisure, fitness, entertainment and gaming center of Central Luzon.
[History]
In 1898, Clark was first established as a U.S. military camp for the 5th Calvary after the Spanish-American War. The base was first named as Clark Field in 1918, after Major Harold M. Clark, a pre-World War I pilot.
After the Mount Pinatubo eruption in 1991, the air base was shut down. As a result, the base was turned over to the Philippine government on November 26, 1991 and was converted into a free port and special economic zone.
Eventually, on March 20, 2007, the Clark Air Base was renamed to Clark Freeport Philippines under the administration of the then-President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. This development allowed investors to enjoy tax-free and other duty-free privileges. Since then, Clark Freeport Zone has attracted a great number of foreign and domestic investors.

Emerging Clark and Angeles Pampanga in the Philippines! | Economy is Booming here! ????????
Angeles City officially the City of Angeles is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 462,928 people.
Being home of the former Clark Air Base (once the largest United States military facility outside the continental United States), it was significantly affected by the fallout from the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991. The economy of Angeles was heavily dependent on the American base at that time.
In 1993, a full cleanup and removal of volcanic ash deposits began and the former U.S. base was transformed into the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ). The creation of CSEZ has helped to offset the loss of income and jobs previously generated by the presence of the U.S. base in the city. Today, Angeles and Clark form the hub for business, industry, aviation, and tourism in the Philippines as well as a leisure, fitness, entertainment and gaming center of Central Luzon.
Angeles is home to an emerging technology industry. Its economy is based also on tourism and gambling. Fields Avenue forms the hub of the night life industry focused in Angeles. With close proximity to an international airport in Clark Freeport, Angeles is visited by foreigners all year round.
The city has cottage industries producing rattan furniture, coconuts, and charcoal briquettes. It also has many thriving export businesses in handicrafts, metal crafts, toys, houseware and garments. Apart from the Clark Freeport Zone, industrial areas include the Angeles Livelihood Village and the Angeles City Industrial Estate.
Angeles is promoted as a gastronomy tourist destination and is billed as the culinary capital of the Philippines. The city is known as a hub for Kampampangan cuisine as well as for its pork sisig. The city also has numerous historically and culturally significant tourist destinations including the Pamintuan Mansion, a heritage house which hosts a history and social studies museum, and the Holy Rosary Church, which is recognized by the National Museum of the Philippines as an Important Cultural Property. Angeles is also situated within the perimeter of the Clark Freeport Zone.

Air Force City Park is a recreational complex that features real helicopters, fighter jets, and
aviation equipment used by the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the United States. It is located within the Clark Freeport Zone in Pampanga, 96 kilometers north of Manila.
The park is the perfect place to marvel at aircraft that served the country as a visit here will allow you to see a UH-1H Iroquois or a HUEY, a Vought F8 Crusader, an F5a Jet (which is also popularly called the Freedom Fighter), a T-28 Trojan, and a T-33 or a Thunder Bird, which was the country's first aircraft, ushering the Philippine Air Force into the jet age.
Aside from a history tour, the park also offers shaded areas for visitors to have picnics or naps. Its wide space with a play area is also perfect for kids to run around and have fun.
